How was it Gold found himself here, well he knew it was just thinking on how Emma Swan had found him & of course that was more at his mind than beating a man, the only reason he was in here is for doing it & being caught yet he did not regret it as he should. He had needed the release of his anger for the man for what he thought he had done to Belle, he was just lucky that in the old world he had not skinned him alive for his actions, for he could of done more to him then than now, but he was sure he made his point he was sure of it & he was sure that Moe French would think greatly on ever crossing him again. Of course he did not remember their past as he did, on his daughter going with him to save her people in a deal or to know that he prized the tea cup he had taken above most of his things, a few were in the same area as the chipped cup but, that was only because it was form the only other person he loved.
So now he sat in jail waiting for what was to come, he could defended himself of course in court not that it would sound good ether way, of course his mind could not help to think of the last time he was in jail or more a prison of how his life had been all but, hell & how the food had not been anything but, a starving person would eat. He signed this was not the same thing he knew, yet he knew that once people remember who he was well he was sure they would wish to put him in were they left him to start of course for that to happen they would have to fight him again for he was not going to go willingly at least not like he had coming her.
Of course here he did not have magic so it was a little not in his favor, but he was also done with what he wanted for the most part so he did not have to fight Swan right now later maybe yet he was sure that in the end he would be stronger & only a fool would stand in his way of what he wanted if he wanted it badly enough.

Emma had had to fill out some paperwork after tossing Mr. Gold in the jail cell. Unfortunately, even in Storybrooke, paperwork had to be filled out any time an incident occured. It of course was Emma's least favorite part of the job, but before long she finally finished and then filed it before returning to the jail cell.
"Hello again Mr. Gold." she said crossing her arms. "You ready to talk to me about what just happened?" she asked him. "Or are we going to play the quiet game?" she asked raising an eyebrow.

Gold did not have his cane for it was out where Emma was being keep for one reason or another, as Emma spoke he looked at her with her words he said nothing their was no reason to speak, he was sure it would matter little of his reasons for his actions on Moe French. Their was none to come to his aid at least none that he wished involved, well at least none that where alive any more or in Storybrooke. He could not help but, feel the loose of the only thing he really had to remember Belle by & he was sure Regina told Moe to do what he did breaking into his home & since Emma's words did not speak of the break in he had no reason or want to speak.

Emma waited for a few minutes to see if Mr. Gold was going to talk. Finally, when they were both silent for too long for her taste she sat down. "I can see this is going to be a long night for both of us." she said with a sigh. "Look, if something is going on I might be able to help you." she offered.
"I just need to know what's going on. If I can help I would like to. But I can't do that if you stay quiet and leave me out on what happened." she said honestly.

Gold was not the trusting time, even if Emma was the curse breaker "Help? That man stole form me, something that people do not due to me" Of course their was more yet the main thing that start this was that his home was broken into & items where taken & none stole his things. Of course it would very on what Emma did on how this all ended, yet in some way he could see she was interested in being fair yet, even so he already

Emma listened as Mr. Gold finally talked. He told her the man had stolen from her, something people just did not do to him. "Well, if he stole something from you why did you not come to report it?" she asked him.
"Instead of you being in here, he could have been and I could have gotten back the item. No problems, no issues. I think the most important thing is you would not be locked up in a cell and he would not be beaten till bloody." she said.

"I assumed you knew besides I am sure he was not working alone" He was sure of it even if he could not prove it, Moe might be mad at him yet he was not the kind to do anything so rash unless given the push to do so. "I still have a feeling even if you knew of the events, things would of turned out much like they have" For he still would of wanted his cup back, the other items mattered not as much even if his the chipped cup was what he wanted back the most.

"If he was not working alone that's even more reason that you should have reported it. Now we might not be able to find out who helped him, and even if we do I might not be able to arrest them if charges are raised against you for beating the man." she said. "Whether or not they would have turned out the same way there is a way we do things here. I could have done something, maybe even gotten your items back. It's going to be harder to work out when you beat the man." she said.

He heard her words & watched her, she was the one to break the curse & she could not see that their was more than one behind this already perhaps it was because she was new "I have a feeling the one helping him would not be so simple to prove they had any involvement, many that have others do their work always do well to cover their tracks to that the blame just falls on those they have hired to do their work" He watched her closely "I have a very good idea who is behind all this, yet like you their is no proof" He watched her "I am not worried of being arrested, in the end I am sure you will see things for what they really are" Of course that was not so clear as she might think, yet he was sure she would for it would be the main reason she could break the curse.
