Whitney grinned as he walked into the butcher shop. He had run out of meat and while the grocery store and other places sold meat the butcher shop sold the best meat in town. At least in his opinion. He felt his mouth water a bit as he could smell meat coming from the kitchen as he saw several kinds of meat on display. Thankfully he had developed self control not wanting to get arrested for trying to eat meat. Being a wolf wasn't much fun sometimes but he still enjoyed being a wolf. Thankfully his salary was bigger than what secretaries were normally paid. He wasn't sure if Regina had developed a soft spot for him or if she just thought he really did his job well. Either way he wasn't going to complain. It just gave him more money to spend on his food. He began picking out choices. He heard the bell ring of someone else coming in but he was focused on getting food at the moment.

Bruce entered the butcher shop to pick up some stakes cut the way he liked & it was cheaper than other places at least so far. He saw one other man here, so he would wait his turn he looked over the options of meat he knew he had come for stake yet now it was hard to say that is all he would get. Perhaps he would get some meat to use for a stew & that, but he would stark with the stakes first & he thought more over how think he would wish to get the stakes cut & he also thought over how long it would take to cook them with out them getting burned. He had to make sure he had the time to cook them, for it was not something he could just drop form doing or leave them with out him being there encase something would happen.

Whitney picked a few choices as he paused looking up recognizing other man as Graham's father Bruce. He grinned. Bruce seemed like a cool guy. Graham was giving him a chance so Whitney wasn't going to treat him badly. Unless Bruce hurt his friend. Then they'd have a problem. Being a werewolf he was very protecting of his pack, his friends, and his mate. And Graham was his friend and a former member of the pack. He wrapped up a lot of his choices in foil placing them in a box as he walked up to him.

"Hello Bruce. How are you, Graham, and Akela doing? I don't mean to pry. I'm just worried about him. During the curse all he had to rely on was Regina. And now he's free. I'm still stuck as her slave. I wish there was a way to reverse that spell somehow." said Whitney.

Bruce heard his words & smiled "Hey Whitney, I am doing good as is Graham & Akela. And yes it is great that he is free, something we look over most the time on how luck we are to be free to make choices & not be told what to do I know in the old would it did happen, yet one still had thier own will to do as they wanted" He watched the man "And how are you doing & what is new with you?" With that he waited to see what he would say. "I see we both came to get meat here so are you threwing a party or just wanted the freshness of it here?" He was just asking not sue if he had a party going on he could look at doing something later on to invited him to that he could join & it would be lots of fun to have him at the party.

Whitney grinned as Bruce spoke. At least the three of them were doing ok.

"That's good. Glad to see everything's okay with you guys." said Whitney.

He paused at his words and grinned.

"Aside from Minos and I moving in together not much. I'm still under Regina's loyalty spell. I'm glad Graham got away from her. I just don't know how to remove this spell." said Whitney.

He heard Minos talk about the meat and grinned.

"I'm not throwing a party. I just came here because it's fresh and really good. Plus being a wolf I have a big appetite." said Whitney.

He paused realizing he'd let that slip. He couldn't remember if Bruce knew or not.

"Sorry. Forgive me but I can't remember if I told you that or not. Graham and I were raised together for awhile. He was like a brother I never had. He and Akela eventually left our pack to go live on their own but I never forgot my friend. Thankfully we get to see each other more here in Storybrooke than we did in the Enchanted Forest." said Whitney.

He heard his words "I am glad you two knew each other & that you are doing well, as for Regina perhaps her love interested will keep her busy so she does not bother you" It was the only thing that he had in mind for that, he was not sure how it would go or what else he might of said besides what he had so far "You are right the meat it quite fresh, a reason I am sure many come here to get meat unless they perhaps have a large list to make getting all the items in one trip"

Samuel nodded hoping Bruce was right.

"I hope so. I wish I knew a way to get rid of this. I hate being her slave. She hasn't used me much here aside from being her secretery but still it's annoying." said Samuel.

Samuel smiled as the topic shifted back to meat.

"Yes. I've always come here to get meat. To make steaks, burgers, you name it. Although I admit living here helps cooking the meat. We don't have to cook it over a fire like we used to. We can cook it on the stove or the microwave. Shame we didn't think of these modern conveniences in our old world." said Samuel.

He licked his lips just thinking of it.

He heard his words "I am sure it is perhaps with time she will let you go, wishing to move on so to speak" He chuckled with his words "Yes it is a shame of course you would do well there & here as a promoter of reasons meat should be eaten & all that" After all the man had a passion for speaking of meat so he knew he could help in selling it & such.

Whitney shrugged.

"I hope so. But she is the evil queen after all. I'm just grateful Minos and Graham got away from her." said Whitney.

He paused as Bruce agreed about not having modern appliances over there. He chuckled at the thought of being a promoter.

"I don't now. I'd probably end up eating half the meat while demonstrating it. So I don't think I'd be a good promotoer." said Whitney.

He chuckled as he kept filling up his basket. He paused looking at him curiously.

"So what have you been up to lately?" asked Whitney.
