James sighed as he dropped a towel and his stuff onto the beach. He slipped off his red shirt and pair of brown sandals leaving only a pair of green swimming trunks on. It felt so long ago since he'd spent the day here with Tink and they'd spent a lot of it flying or swimming. He was still getting used to having to wear this and no longer being able to fly. Belle wasn't that bad actually. She was actually pretty cool. He didn't remember his own parents so at least he had one new decent parent. He headed to the beach and dove into the water wanting to cool off. He hoped Rebecca showed up soon.

Rebecca came down to the beach after getting his text message. She wore her sunglasses with the green lenses, her green bikini, green flip flops and was wrapped in a green towel. She hadn't seen James in days and it worried the princess. Her blue eyes brightened when she saw her boyfriend. "Jimmy!"

James looked up hearing a familiar voice spotting Rebecca. He grinned swimming to shore and rushed over to her. He grinned and gave her a hug and a quick kiss. He tried to hide his worry and fear but he knew Rebecca would pick up on it. There was very little he could hide from her. They were very close even before they started dating.

"Becky! I'm so glad you made it." said James.

He paused and sighed. He held up his hand revealing the bracelet Rumplestiltskin had given him just a few days ago.

"Gold adopted me Becky and blocked my magic with this. I can't fly anymore. He's now legally my father. I was wondering if there was a way to remove this but I don't know if I should try. He's probably watching me and I don't want him coming after you. So if I have to wear this for awhile I will." said James.

He'd had some time to think about it. As much as he wanted this bracelet off and be able to fly he wanted Rebecca safe more. He knew Gold didn't like her much either and he didn't want her or her family to be a target.

She smiled at him. "Me too" She raised an eyebrow at the bracelet. "Oh my Good Lady..." She said her eyes wide. "I don't know if I can reove it but my parents might be able to, they both are so more advanced and powerful than I am." She said runing her fingers through her hair. "I agree, besides He wants me to come over and teach you manners." She said nodding.

James smiled at her.

"I guess it can't be helped. I didn't ask to be adopted or live there. But he didn't give me any choice. I can't even fly anymore. He took one of the happiest things in my life. Maybe I should just quit while I'm ahead and accept it. I could live without flying if I had to. But I couldn't live without you." said James.

He blushed a little as he said it. He wasn't always good at being the romantic type. Having feels for Rebecca were still very new to him. But it was a feeling he didn't want to stop. He paused at her and smirked.

"Good manners? From you?" said James.

He chuckled knowing a few times her jealousy had gotten the best of her and caused her to do bad things like trying to hurt Wendy and briefly even teaming up with Captain Hook to try to get rid of her. He still hated Hook for taking advantage of his girlfriend like that.

"Well I suppose it would give us more time together." said James.

She blushed at what he said "ditto." She smiled and nodded "Yeah, since I'm a princess. I was raised with Proper Manners hardwired into my brain." True she had done unprincessy things like Try and kill Wendy, harm her, kick her out of Neverland, there was so much more. She was blinded by jealousy, besides Peter was Tinkerbell`s zing. Not Wendy`s. "Yeah plus I think your 'parents' might invite my parents over for supper one night." She shrugged, her parents were pretty cool. Both were magicial and musical much like herself and her twin sister.

James grinned as she pretty much agreed with what he said.

"Alright. I suppose manners wouldn't hurt. It's not fair. I'd rather have anyone be my father over him. Even that old codfish Hook. At least I know I could get away from him if I had to." said James.

He paused and nodded.

"Oh great. I didn't really give a good first impression on your father when we first met in Neverland. Of course I was a bit more worried about you t the time. And well I don't really know if he likes me. I mean at least in Neverland we could be happy there. But now we're stuck in this small little town. I suppose Belle's not bad. Although I haven't spend much time with her yet. I just wish I didn't have Rumple there." said James.

He paused looking at her curiously.

"What do you want to ask me?" asked James.

Rebecca nodded "There's times where I wish i could trade my dad in. The pressure of the fact that I was supposed to take over as Queen stressed me out. That's wy I ran away and created Neverland. I found you, and I fell for you." She rested her head on his shoulder. "He seems not too too mad now, finding Mum really mellowed him out. Give Gold a chance, I mean it can't be too bad." She said playing with his hair.
"I was going to mention the old Hemsworth Mansion, but Mr. Gold had it torn down."

James chuckled.

"I'm glad you created Neverland and that we met. But I am glad you had your parents. Even if your dad can be a pain sometimes. As much as I didn't want to grow up I wondered what my parents were like. I don't remember much about them and I tried to look for them. I found out my mother died and no one knows what happened to my father. But I was glad I went to Neverland. I got to meet you. I'm just sorry it took me a long time to see how special you are to me." said James.

He grinned.

"Well perhaps I could come visit sometime. See if he really has mellowed out as you said." said James.

He nodded.

"Huh. A shame. That place was a fun place to explore. Guess we'll have to find a new place to have adventures. That is if my new father will even let me out of the house." said James.

[Tinkerbell/Rebecca King]

"He is a pain. Him and my Uncle" She chuckled she then solemnly nodded as he mentioned his deceased mum. Tinkerbell had seen the dying woman as she granted her wish of rescuing peter. "I always knew you were special, from the day I saved you" She said playing with his hair. "Sounds good to me, and you can meet my mum as well." She smiled, she was 100% sure her mum and Peter would get along. "Yeah and I'm sure he will. I'll just have to come over and ask him nicely if Jammy doughnut can come out and play." she chuckled trying to cheer him up.

James nodded.

"Well who cares if your father and uncle are jerks sometimes. I don't want to hang ou with them. I prefer hanging out with you, and Shiloh and the others. It's been awhile since we all hanged out though. Maybe we could have a party or at least hang out together this weekend." said James.

He grinned at her words.

"Of course I'm special. But then again so are you." said James.

He grinned as she played with his hair. It was odd but something that was so Tink. As long as she didn't put any flowers in his hair he was fine with it.

"I'd love to meet your mom. It'd be nice to have an adult in your family on my side." said James.

He chuckled at her words.

"I'll find a way to spend time with you Becky. Even if I have to sneak out of the place." said James.

She smiled and nodded "Absolutely, Shiloh-Skye definitely needs a party. She's been still stressing over her mama drama, a party would be great. We could have it at the cafe." She said referencing the karaoke cafe she and her cousin owned and operated. "awh thank you, but I'm just your average fairy princess who loves a boy named Peter Pan." she blushed as she ran her fingers through his hair. She liked paying with his hair, it calmed her nerves and his hair was always soft. "She and I, we are a lot alike. She can be strict but she has a heart of gold." She said moving his bangs aside.

James grinned.

"That sounds great. Just don't expect me to sing." said James.

He grinned as she spoke.

"You're many things Rebeca but you're far from average. You're gorgeous, funny, amazing, and wonderful. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky to have you." said James.

He grinned as she talked about her mom.

"Well then I really want to meet her now. If she's anything like you I'm sure we'd get along great." said James.

He chuckled at her words.

"Trouble's like my middle name but I'll try to behave. For you." said James.

"Don't worry, I won't" she chuckled. "Awh thanks Jamesy, You are incredible yourself. I count my lucky stars that I managed to find myself in love with my best friend" She said playing with their fingers. "She's super nice, I'll ask her if you can come over for dinner or we can come over to Gold's." She closed her eyes and laid her head on his shoulder. "Thank you" She smiled.

James grinned.

"Good. Because I really can't sing and I'd rather not ruin the party." said James.

James's grin grew as she complimented him in return.

"I guess we were both lucky. I'm just sorry I was too blind to see it for so long. But I'm glad you didn't give up on me." said James.

James nodded.

"I'm sure she is. I'd much prefer hanging out at your place. That mansion just gives me the creeps. I'd rather be living on the streets that in that place with him." said James.

He smiled giving her a hug as she laid her head on his shoulder and thanked him.

"Your welcome Becky. You know you, the Lost Boys, and the others are the only family I have. I hope there's away out of this adoption soon. I don't know how much more of being stuck there I can take." said James.
