Storybrooke History:
Diana grew up in the orphanage hanging out with Mark, James,
Rebecca, and the other orphans. She remembered very little about her birth family. She stuck close to the orphanage aside from going to school as she was too young to get a job. Not that she wanted one anyway.
When the curse broke she began looking for her Aunt Emily and Uncle Henry as well as her friends wondering if any of them from her Kansas farm or Oz had made it here. She is now living with her aunt and uncle again but hasn't run into any of her other friends yet so far from her old life as Dorothy Gale.
Fantasy History:
Dorothy grew up in Kansas with her Aunt Emily and Uncle Henry. Her birth parents died when she was very young and she was taken in by her aunt and uncle. She was good friends with the farmhands Hickory, Hunk, and Zeke. In early 1899 after Miss Gulch took Toto to talk to the Sheriff to have him possibly killed he escaped and Dorothy decided to run away with him. They ran into Professor Marvel a fortune teller. Professor Marvel tricked Dorothy into thinking Emily was sick and Dorothy and Toto set off for home. But a twister hit Kansas and her aunt, uncle, and the farmhands went into the cellar. Dorothy and Toto arrived in the house too late as the twister hit and she was knocked out as the house was taken to Oz.
She arrived in Oz and woke up marveling at the beautiful place. She met Glinda and the munchkins and learned her house killed the Wicked Witch of The East. The Wicked Witch Of The West showed up wanting revenge but when she tried to take her sister's shoes Glinda put them on Dorothy's feet to keep them safe and to keep Dorothy safe as well. The Wicked Witch of the West vowed revenge and vanished. Dorothy was sent off to seek help from the Wizard.
Along the way Dorothy was joined by Scarecrow Tin Man, and the Lion. They each wanted one thing. A brain, a heart, and some courage. The Witch met them and tried to scare them off but they refused. They passed through a poppy field and fell asleep. But Glinda used a snow storm to wake them up. They made it to Emerald City. The Witch tried to threaten them again but they went to see the Wizard. The Wizard told them to bring him the broomstick of the Wicked Witch Of The West and he'd grant their requests.
Reluctantly they went to do it but The Wicked Witch Of The West ready for them and sent the winged monkeys after them. They kidnapped Dorothy and Toto and tore up Scarecrow. Tin Man and Lion put Scarecrow back together. Toto escaped and led the trio back to the castle. Dorothy meanwhile as told she would have to die for the witch to get the shoes. Her friends broke her out and ran but were stopped by the Wicked Witch and her Winkie guards. She set fire to Scarow's arm and Dorothy grabbed a bucket of water dousing the flames but hitting the witch as well melting her. The Winkie guards hailed Dorothy for freeing them from the evil witch. Dorothy took the bromo and with her friends returned to the Emerald City and presented it to the Wizard.
However they discovered he was a fraud but he still gave them gifts. He gave a diploma to Scarecrow. He gave a ticking heart to Tinman and a medal of bravery to Lion. He then said he'd take Dorothy and Toto home to Kansas in his balloon. Toto saw a cat in the crowd and chased after it. Dorothy chased after Toto but by the time she got back the balloon was sent away taking the wizard away. Glinda appeared and told Dorothy the ruby slippers would take her and Toto home. Dorothy said goodbye and followed Glinda's instructions to click her heals together three times and say there's no place like home. On the way back hoime her ruby slippers fell off into the desert. She woke up in her room where Emily, Henry, Hunk, Hickory , Zeke, and Professor Marvel were there to greet her. She was just glad to be home again and be safe.
Six months later the new house was still being built to replace the old one. She talked about Oz so much her aunt and uncle were worried about her. So they took her to a clinic wheree Dr. Worley and Nurse Wilson took care of her. She was to stay the night where a new experiment with electric currents would wipe out her "bad nightmares" of Oz so she'd stop talking about them. But a freak lighting storm hit the place cutting the power. Dorothy escaped with the help from a girl in the clinic and they rushed out and were seperated by a flood. Dorothy woke up in Oz with a chicken from her farm Bilina. Bilina could now talk and she realized she was in the Deadly Desert. Walking on stones she made it to the grass safely and after getting something to eat found the broken Yellow Brick Road and her old house. But no sign of any of the Munchkins. She followed the broken Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City.
Once there she found Tin Man, Lion, and the rest of the city's inhabitants were turned to stone. Some even had theri heads cut off. Dorothy and Bilina were then attacked by Wheelers monsters who had wheels for hands and feet and used those to get around. Dorothy and Bilina fled into a room freeing Tik Tok a robot. Dorothy found he had three settings. Thought, Action, and Speaking. She wound up all three and they set up a plan to find out what's going on. They captured one of the Wheelers who took them to Princess Mombi.
Dorothy learned the missing heads from before were given to Mombi as she had the power to switch heads and each head had a different disposition and personality. Tik Tok ran down trying to stop Mombi from taking them prisoners. Dorothy and Bilina were thrown into a room. She found Jack Pumpkinhead a creature who had been brought to life by a magical powder Mombi had bought from a wizard. It was called the Powder of Life. Deciding they could use it to escape Dorothy snuck out of her room and wound up Tik Tok sending him to help Jack and Bilina make a flying sofa they could use to escape. She stole the Powder of Life from Mombi who discovered it and went after her. They attached a Gump's and leaves to a couch and with the Powder of Life he was able to fly over the Deadly Desert and Oz to the Nome King's kingdom.
Once there they learned they approached the Nome King. He gave them a chance to save Scarecrow and Oz by touching ornaments and saying Oz. If they were right Scarecrow would return. But if they were wrong after three guesses they would become and ornament themselves. Gumph, Jack Pumpkinhead, Bilina, and Tik Tok all failed. The Nome King revealed he had the Ruby Slippers now and had used them to take over Oz and he could send Dorothy home but she would no longer remember Oz or anyone here. Dorothy decided to stay and guess.
While Dorothy was guessing Mombi arrived with the Wheelers to warn the Nome King but she was too late as he already knew. Dorothy got two guesses wrong but her third guess she got right freeing Scarecrow. She then freed Jack Pumpkinhead nad Gumph from green ornaments. Before she could find Tik Tok the Nome King attacked eatting Gumph's body but they were able to save his head by pulling him away from the sofa in time. Tne Nome King then tried to eat Jack Pumpkinhead but instead swallowed an egg Bilina had laid as she'd hidden in Jack's body out of fear. Eggs were poison to nomes and the Nome King died.
Dorothy used the ruby slippers to send the group back to Oz, and restore all of Oz to the way it was including restoring the stone statues back to life and restoring the stolen heads Mombi had back to their former owners. With everyone celebrating she freed Ozma from a mirror as she revealed she was the true ruler of Oz. That the Wizard had killed her father and Mombi had taken Ozma as a slave all ths time. Dorothy said goodbye to her friends giving the ruby slippers to Ozma. Ozma told her she would look in on her from time to time and if she ever wanted to return to Oz she could return. Dorothy was sent back home alone as Bilina chose to stay in Oz. Dorothy woke up in a field and reunited with Toto, Emily, and Henry. She learned Nurse Wilson was arrested and Dr. Worley died during the storm trying to save his inventions from inside the building. Dorothy then went home with her aunt and uncle and Toto. Ozma and Bilina appeared in a mirror to say hello to her. She would have many more adventures in Oz and eventually move there permanently with her uncle, aunt, and the three farmhands. When the curse hit she was pulled from Oz to Storybrooke.

Dorothy grinned as she walked into her house. She now lived in Oz with her Toto, Aunt Emily, Uncle Henry, Uncle, Hank, Zekle, and Hickory. It had been a few days since they'd moved into the palace. ng. She did miss her old farm from time to time but she was glad she had her family and friends together. That they know saw Oz was a real place and she hadn' been crazy or making up the stories.
She grinned as she thought back on her previous adventures in Oz. She'd made a lot of good friends both times and a lot of enemies. She'd defeated three powerful evil witches and stopped the Nome King several times. Now the ruby slippers were safe with Ozma and Oz was now no longer in danger from evil creatures that could threaten it. But then a strange cloud began to descent on the castle as she tried to outrun it but found herself hit by the cloud as she passed out. Her last thoughts were wondering if her friends and family were alright.
