Sitting outside the little hut that had been constructed for her Sarcha's eyes stayed on her task already she'd been at work for a month e weaving the first shirt after spending almost three collecting the plant she needed, and even with as much as she had, she feared she'd only have enough for this first one... maybe that was why she had six years so the plant had time to grow back.
Her fingers worked the plant carefully while two swans where curled around her feet napping in the afternoon. Another two swopped over head their clean white wings flashing brightly reflecting the beams of sunlight that broke through the canopy of trees, and the last two her oldest brothers, where out gather food not only for them selves but for her as well, she had crafted little bags which they could fill with berries and nuts that they could fly back to her and the others.
She felt distinctly more relaxed then when she had first come so deep into the forest, fearing her step mother might find her and curse her before she could rescue her brothers she'd hidden away deep and did her work. dedicated wholly to her task. she'd grown used to the sounds of the forest and no longer feared them her little bed inside was made from downy feathers the swans had picked off specially, when she slept they curled up around her offering warmth, even as birds they stayed a good close family.
engrossed in her task Sarcha knew nothing of anyone approaching until her two middle brothers swooped down and made strange and threatening noises with their throat wings fared wide between her and new comer Sarcha looked up and over holding the shirt close hands shaking a little she may have relaxed but there were still dangerous things, dangerous people in the woods.
