Bryce had a bit of free time on his hands. The shop was closed for the night and Bryce was planning on heading home to relax for a bit. There was a few shows on tv he wanted to catch and Bryce had planned on grabbing a pizza on the way home. As he walked along the street however, Bryce's hazel eyes fell on the tea shop.
He had heard a few good reviews on the place. He shrugged now. Why not grab tea to go? He crossed the road to the island and then entered the shop. There were a few other people sitting at tables or standing in line. That was a good sign. Bryce took his place and waited.
He saw the woman working the counter, most likely the owner. A pretty girl. He occupied the time he spent waiting by watching her move around and smile or speak. When it was his turn, Bryce stepped up to the counter. He had already read the menu boards and now said "A large black tea. Please."
He gave her a charming smile as he reached for his money in his pocket. His eyes fell on a stack of flyers on the counter top as he placed his money on the counter. "Whats this?" Bryce asked softly as he read over it.

Vayda was extremly busy as usual and she had not enough time to do everything. She had noticed that there were a few psople in line, so she had to drop what she was doing and she headed over to the counter to assist her customers.
She did as she did everyday, pour tea and serve treats aswell as bake them. She defenatly needed a break as she was getting more and more tired as each day had passed. After she had served the last customer in line, she was about to go to the back and get out some more tarts and squares until she had heard the door open again. She let out a huge sigh and fromped her hands to her side "Oh...this never ends" she mumbled to herself.
She seen a very handsome man walk towards the counter and looked directly at the menu. "Just a minuite sir..I'll be right wth you" she said as she went to the back to grab more stock. Once she was at the back, she lent over the countertop and grabbed her chest. This man looked very charmng to her. She smiled and brushed herself off and wiped down her fae wth water and then atteneded to the man.
"Hi..I'm Vayda!, what can I get you?" she asked him sounding nervous. "A large black tea please" he replyed. She quickly got out a tea cup and poured it and she handed it over to him with a smile,"Here ya go...anything else" she asked him while blushing. She watched him then look down at the counter and rested his eyes on these flyers that were brought in this morning. "What's this? he asked her. Vayda looked down, "I have no idea...I've been way to busy to even look it over.
She took one of the flyers and read it briefly aswell. "Mmm...It looks like a Mascarade Ball...that sounds like fun....are you going?" she asked him, no realixng that she was basically asking him out on a date.

Bryce was m=not blind to the way she was looking at him. He was kind of used to it as conceited as it sounded. "I have no idea...I've been way to busy to even look it over." She told him and Bryce watched as she read one of the flyers. "Mmm...It looks like a Mascarade Ball...that sounds like fun....are you going?" She asked now and Bryce arched one eyebrow at her forwardness.
He gave a sexy smile now. "That depends." He told her leaning against the counter. It was almost closing time according to the business sign on the window. He let his eyes move over her in a flirtatious manner. "Are you going?" Bryce grinned. He ran one hand through his dark hair. "And I'm Bryce." He told her.

"That depends" she heard his say to her, as he looked even more scrumptious to her while running his fingers along his long hair. She gave him a little nod, and waited to see what he had to say next. "Are you going?" she heard him ask her, as she really started to blush. She looked back down at the flyer and smiled a bit.
"I never really thought about it until now" she said, as she looked at him and gave him a flirtatious smile. "Since you don't know...and I don't know...maybe we should go together?" she said to him as she bit her bottom lip and leaned over the counter at him.

Bryce grinned as she blushed. He chuckled a bit. "I never really thought about it until now" She told him and Bryce grinned back. "Since you don't know...and I don't know...maybe we should go together?" When she leaned towards, him, Bryce moved even closer to her until they were a mere few inches apart.
"It's a date then." He told her using the word 'date' on purpose. "Lets go then shall we?" He took a sip of his tea as he straightened up. The store was almost empty and the remaining people were gathering their things to leave as well. Bryce moved now to stand near the door waiting for her to close up.

Vayda didn't know what to do with herself. Was this really happening to her?, finally a cute guy agreed to go out with her somewhere?, she was all thrill and she wasn't sure what to do next. "It's a date then...shall we?" she heard him say as he drank his tea rather quickly.
"What!...right now...I can't right now" she said to him in histarics. "I have nothing to wear and I don't even have a mask yet...I wasn't plannning on this" she said to him with a bit of a chuckle.
She looked at him and her heart melted, as she was falling for this guy pretty hard. He had a dreamy way about him that made her almost swoon off her feet. "I'm sure that you don't even have a mask yet bryce...am I right? she said to him with a smile. "And if it's a date...why don't you tell me of a time to meet you and where?" she said as she leaned even more closer to him than before.

"What!...right now...I can't right now" She said now and Bryce frowned slightly at her antics. "I have nothing to wear and I don't even have a mask yet...I wasn't planning on this" He nodded slowly. Bryce was not actually planning on dressing up... Well really...he had just found out about this and it was tonight...
"I'm sure that you don't even have a mask yet Bryce...am I right?" She asked him as if reading his mind. "I don't plan on wearing a mask." He told her now. "And if it's a date...why don't you tell me of a time to meet you and where?" She finished. Bryce shrugged.
"Ok," He said offhand. "I'll be at the ball in an hour. "We'll try and find each other." With that, he took the last of his tea and drank it before tossing the cup into a near by garbage can. He gave her one more small smile before stepping out the door. An hour later found him standing at the .edge of the dance floor a plastic cup with red bull and vodka in one hand. He was dressed in a white dress shirt with a full silver vest and back dress pants. Bryce watched the people having fun.

Vayda was blushing from ear to ear. Would this be her true love?, she thought to herself, but it was quite ironic that they had met for the first time and were going to a ball together, it made Vayda's heart skip. "Ok..we'll try and find eachother" he said to her, but that answer didn't really get them any farther. "Ok, I'll be standing inside and you will have to try and find me" she said to him, as she watched him take hiis last sip and start headng towards the door. "Bryce!" she yelled to him. "Before you go...here" she said to him as she grabbed a little take out box and put a cherry cheescake tart inside and handed it to him. "Just in case you get hungry" she said to him with a smile. "Oh and you have to wear a mask, they won't let you in if you don't" she said with a giggle. "Hope you can find me?" she said to him as she gave him a wave and went to the back of the shop to start closing down the shop so she could get ready. After the shop was closed, she went to a costume shop of some sorts in downtown Storybrook, and bought herself a mask and a gown to go along with it. She had really no time for anythiing. She got back home to the shop, and quickly got ready. She was fairly early still, despite how much time she had to begin with. When she had arrived, the place was beautiful, and everyone around looked marvilous. Nervous as she was she had made her way into the crowed and stopped at the punch table. A usual place to be when you are a nervous woman...always by the punch bowl. Bryce at first was not going to bother with the hunt for the girl. He was not really one to play games. However... Bryce was bored. He turned slowly looking over the people here. He had already seen Mr. Gold and the woman the man had been seen with around town. Bryce had no idea what was with that.
He decided to head back to the beverage table. He needed a refill. He would not have seen Vayda if not for the hair. He recognized the blond hair as it was one of the things that had caught his attention back in the cafe. Of course he could be wrong but Bryce doubted it. He stepped up behind her silently and avoiding stepping on the large dress and then leaned forward so that his mouth was near his ear.
"Hello." He said softly. It was sure to frighten her but Bryce was already walking away and towards the table. He did not look back at her just yet. Bryce ordered his drink and then stood with his back to the table and glanced at her out of the corner of his eye.

When Vayda had glanced back to see if she could see Bryce, she happed to see him walk in and she quickly turned away. She waited at the beverage table where she had poured herself another cup of punch, hopeing that he would see her. She was so nervous, and she really liked this guy alot and hoped that something could come out of it.
A few moments went by and she heard a man say "Hello" from behind her, which she quickly reconized the voice. She turned slightly in the opposite direction and see that his back was at her. "Was that him?" she thought to herself, just when he then came back and leaned against the table looking at he out of the corner of his eye.
Vayda smiled and pulled down her mask slowly, "I guess you found me" she said to him in a flirtatious tone as she moved in towards him. "Thanks for comming...you look great Bryce...really handsome" she said to him as she put her arm through his, as she wondered what the night would bring for her.

Bryce saw her glance at him. He could not help the smile when she gave one of her own. He did not move however. He would let her come to him. It was not long before she moved to his side. "I guess you found me" He heard her say as she moved towards him. Bryce nodded and then smiled once more.
"Thanks for coming...you look great Bryce...really handsome" She added and Bryce felt her arm link with his. "And you look beautiful." He replied softly. He looked around. The night was still young. "Would you like to dance?" Bryce asked her now as he started away from the table. There were other people on the dance floor. Bryce was really just happy to be free to relax tonight.

She loved his smile everytime he gave her one. She was head over heels for him, and that usually never happens to her. "And you look beautiful", he told her now and her heart felt like it was about to hit the floor.
She smiled at him and thanked him very much for his compliment. She was really trying hard not to blush and make herself look unexperinced, but he had a real effect on her. " Would you like to dance?" he asked her now, and she was thrilled. "Of course I do", she said to him now as she took the last sip of her punch.
Vayda loved to dance, she always did and it was even better when there was a man involved. Love was defently in the air for Vayda and she thought that this day would never come.

Bryce let her finish her drink and then when she had, he led her onto the dance floor and then slipped one arm around his waist pulling her to him. Bryce was suave. He gave her a soft smile as he began to move slowly with her. "I should say I'm glad you came." Bryce told her now with a charming smile. The music was a slow song. He liked these. It let him get close to a girl as he was with her right now. "How was your day?" He asked her now. He really did not know the girl but he was interested in getting to know her. His other hand moved to brush over her soft hair and then rested on her hip.

Vayda was excited to dance with him, she haden't done that in years and was very nervous about how she would perform infront of him. She had followed him onto the dancefloor and felt as his hand grabbed around her waist.
She looked into Bryce's eyes and blushed slightly as they started to move together with one another. Vayda looked down and back up at Bryce again and smiled. "I should say I'm glad you came." , he said to her as they continued to dance. She was glad that she came to, and if she didn't she wouldn't have had the opportunity to get to know him.
"I'm really glad that you came", she replied as she blushed a new shade of red. You could tell that they didn't know eachother very long because there was alot of small talk, but Vayda was fine with that. "How was your day?, he asked her now, and she replied honestly.
"Well..it wasn't one of the greatest of days" she started. "But you made it all better just by walking into my shop today", she said to him as she accidentlly then stepped on his right foot. "Oh no!...I'm so sorry", Vayda said to him in embarrasment, as the song was now comming to an end

Regina was ready in her gown that Elle had made for her specifically. She looked stunning, sexy, and quite elegant. She was ready, as she was the Mayor and was always up for town events, of course. She yelled bye to Henry, as she wallked outside and into her car with her mask in hand. She was now just outside the ball, and when she got out of the car all the people who were outside greeted her respectfully. She looked around and was excited with how the place looked as it was extremly decorated. She stepped inside hopeing that she would be able to see Bryce around, as that was another reason that she went hoping that they would have a wonderful time together. Regina stopped and looked at everyone in their costumes, dancing wonderfully. She felt like she was in a movie as it looked so fantastic.
