Elle smiled reaching out nervously her fingers gently brushing along the silky nose of the horse, jumping as it snorted the Man handling the animal chuckled assuring her it would be alright before she stepped forward again nervously reaching out to stroke again smiling softly as the horses head dipped to accommodate her reach she stroked and scratched delighted, she'd never ridden a horse before, a pity with this place here and all, they where having a special offer for the week and elle had been lucky enough to be one of the winners of a radio draw for a lesson. she'd entered rather on a whim and hadn't expected to win, so getting the ticket and letter in the mail had been a delight!
So here she was sturdy old jeans good shoes and a loose old blouse over a black cami top trembling a little as the man saddled the horse glancing around everyone else had gone off already she felt nervous doing this one her own, the groom had assured her he'd be walking the horse before anything but still...

Gold had come here, to the stables to look at seeing what kind of horses they had & see if it was worth buying perhaps, he had ideas yes for coming here, but because of the reason it had to be perfect with the horses he was after.
He wondered around taking in many of the different horses, before he started to seek out the owner, though on his way he saw Elle he was not sure what she was doing here other then going for a ride, tough for the moment he said nothing to her, since she appeared busy.

stepping back a bit before climbing on elle glanced over blinking was it? well what where the odds smiling she stepped over waving gosh she certainly was seeing him a lot lately how nice was that! pulling out her note book she scrawled quickly "Oh Mr. Gold how wonderful to see you again, are you here to go for a ride as well?' she wrote with interest before pointing to the horse and the patiently waiting groom
'I won a radio contest for a free lesson isn't that amazing? I'm about to go now but if you like I can wait, I think it'd be much more fun to ride with someone I know rather then on my own.' she wrote with a hopeful smile looking at him shyly hoping he'd agree.

Gold had stopped as he saw Elle waving, to him he looked at her as she wrote something before reading it -Oh Mr. Gold how wonderful to see you again, are you here to go for a ride as well? I'm about to go now but if you like I can wait, I think it'd be much more fun to ride with someone I know rather then on my own.'- "I am here on business at the moment, though I am glade you won take your time to enjoy it"

Elle blinked a moment surprised by the brush off, she shouldn't be it was competently like him, somehow... it hurt more then it usually did blushing she shifted meekly nodding 'Thank you yes, I will... Yes of course business How silly of me to forget, I'm sorry for interrupting you I hope you get everything you need.' she wrote out before nodding why was she upset? she didn't show it but inside her chest ached, she had told him even with his friendship she didn't expect special treatment, had that been a lie? no no she liked him for who he was... Damn damn Regina for putting thoughts in her head, now every time he just treated her like anyone else oh god it hurt her so badly...

Gold read Elle words "As do I, enjoy your ride though" With that Gold turned to leave, now it was finding David the man should be close after all he was the owner. So know it was just the matter of finding David & making a deal, that for him should not be an issue.

David had been having a strange few past days. Really he just wanted to shut down the stable for the day so he could just relax and regroup. But... he had things to do today so that was out of the question. The radio contest winner was here. That was where David was heading now. He had sent one of his employees to get things going with the winner.
Now he entered the stable and moved down the aisle towards the girl that was mounted on the horse. He was about to speak when he noticed the person with his back to David. "Mr. Gold?" David called now. He stopped at the horse side and then ran a hand along its neck slowly as he looked up at the woman. "Hello." He said softly. He looked back to Mr. Gold now. David did not know which situation to address first.

Gold heard Davids words he just looked at him, as if sencing his thoughts he spoke "Finish what you need Mr. Nolan, I have business to speak with you about" He really wanted this matter deal with, but he also dod not want to be bothered quickly after he started speaking with David, so he was a bit more willing to let David deal with other matters.

She blinked smiling brightly when he did add on that she enjoy her ride nodding looking over ad David approached waving a little meekly before shifting and writing "It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm the one who won the radio contest, I hope that's alright.' she wrote out with a smile looking between him and Mr. Gold she knew the man vaguely and that he owned the stables. then it occurred to her and she nodded of curse, Mr. Gold was probably here to buy a horse! he wouldn't just stand around to collect rent after all he was kind of proactive like that. the thought made her smile maybe he wanted to be more to the community, that was such a hopeful happy thought.
