Henry Mills had had another long day at school, and he had a lot of homework. He wanted to finish it before Regina came home from work, but he knew it wasn't possible because the homework he received was far too hard to complete in that amount of time. After all, it was math homework he had to complete now, and as we all know, math is very difficult for some kids.
Henry heard the front door open and the heavy footsteps of his adoptive mother, Madame Mayor Regina. Uh Oh Henry thought. She's gunna kill me for not having my homework completed. I know she will
When Regina entered the dining room, which was where Henry was working on his homework, Henry pretended to act innocent, so maybe she wouldn't yell at him for not having his homework completed. "Hello. Did you have a nice day at work? He asked her innocently.

Regina was glad that her day was finally finsihed and she could go home and just relax, but that was sometimes hard since she did have a child to take are of. She got in her car and headed home. She pulled up to her house and walked inside and seen Henry sitting there still doing his homework.
"Hello..did you have a nice day at work?", she heard him ask her. She knew right then and there that something was up, becasue she usually had to say something first to him. "Hello to you too...", she said to him. "and yes my day was alright and how was yours?", she asked him now as she moved closer to see what he was doing.
She looked at the pages infront of him and noticed that it was his homework, and she had to question why he was still doing it. "Henry..why are you still doing your homework?, you are usually done by now" she said as she glanced and noticed it was math..not one of his bet subjects.

"That's good to hear. My day was terrible. Miss Blanchard gave us tons of math homework and I don't understand it one bit" Henry replied. Henry felt like slumping in his chair at this moment. He knew he shouldn't have watched tv before completing his homework. What was he going to tell Regina? He never lied to her for he knew the trouble he could get into. Should he just tell her the truth? He had to. What other option was there? "Well... you see... I... I sort of watched tv before I did my homework... and now I realize that that was a horrible mistake. Please don't be mad at me. Please." This time Henry really did slouch back in his chair. He felt really guilty about doing the wrong thing, and he didn't know what Regina was going to do to him since he misbehaved... again.
