Gold could hardly contain himself, at the news though he really only held showing it when out in Storybrooke when here, it was totally different. He was to be a father again, something he never really though about happening again, he smiled at the idea of something that was his & Abi, the child would want for nothing, he would see to that.

He would see to it that Abi had the best care & he would wait on her hand & foot, though he was sure that she would not accepted such actions until later on, but for now he knew it would be good to speak with Abi, on everything from what she wanted to get the baby to, if she wanted to stay home or have a nanny, there was also the choose that she might just want someone to help around the house, since there was bound to be times he would still need to go to work.

When, he found out the next day when she had come home he had screen to it that, there was a sea of roses, in vases all threw the house & yet a path still so she could get threw the home, though it meant a great deal to do this for her to surprise her in such way, of course he was sure the people he got the roses where just as surprised though he promised them enough to see that they got the roses they & set up, he of course picked Abi up saying he did not want her to walk more then she should, though he had more plained then just that.

He waited until they where at the door, when he told Abi to stop he was sure she was surprised though he said he had a surprise for her, asking her to close her eyes, he waited for her to do so & he moved his hand in front of her face, as if to see she was not peeking, he then made a rose appear, he then told Abi she could open her eyes.

Pregnant... Abi had been feeling weak and had been nauseous a lot lately so she had gone to the doctor to see if she had picked up some sort of germ. The tests had taken a little more than an hour and there form more than her lunch break at the school but when she had been brought back into the office, Abi had gotten the news she had not been expecting. She had gone to the shop before heading back to the school. She knew that he did not really like her in here during work hours but Abi felt that this was necessary. She had given him the news and had been relieved that he had obviously been happy about it. Abi had not had a whole lot of time, she did need to finish her work day but they could talk about it this evening.

Abi had not told anyone about her news at school. She had tried to get through the day as normal. Afterwards, when Gold had been outside waiting for her, Abi moved to the car and then slipped inside. He had not wanted her to walk. Abi grinned and then leaned over to kiss him as they pulled away from the curb.

When they reached the house, Abi got out of the car and started up the walkway. She was surprised when he told her to stop. She turned her head to look at him but when he requested she close her eyes, Abi did so without question. She trusted him. She smiled as she felt his hand over her eyes and her own hand ran over his hand and forearm. When he told her to open her eyes, she opened to take in the beautiful rose. Abi smiled and then took the flower slowly from his fingers. She turned around now to face him. "You are happy then?" She asked him meeting his eyes.

Gold smiled softly, as she took the rose how interesting that his moment of giving her a rose so long ago, even if she had turned the man into a rose, it was not the point at the moment, it was that the rose had truly become a symbol between them & it meant more then, anyone would every truly know, at least besides them. At her words his smirk of a smile only grew, as his eyes lit up before he spoke "I am, beyond words happy Abigail & how do you feel, with the idea?" He knew that even if he was happy, it was best to know what Abi thoughts & feelings was, of course they had spoken of kids, though it was more was Abi ready for a child of her own. The idea that she could say in some way she was not ready to be a mother crushed him, but he had to think other wise that she would not think such thoughts. However in the back of his mind, he though of the danger the two could be in now, more so then before, but he knew first things first he would watch out for them & he would have to accepted for the moment that it would be enough.

Abi was stunned by the change in his expression. She did not think that she had ever seen him so happy before. "I am, beyond words happy Abigail & how do you feel, with the idea?" He told her and Abi chuckled. "I'm happy of course." She told him now. Abi ran one hand over her stomach. "A little scared..." She admitted. "I don't know anything about being a mother. Changing diapers.. feedings... birth..." She shivered a little at the last one.

From what she understood, it hurt...a lot. And her own mother had died during it. It frightened her badly. But Abi wanted a child. More over, she wanted his child. She smiled again and then shook her head. "I'll manage and eventually figure it out." Abi brought the flower to her nose to inhale and then took his free hand before turning back to the house. She had no idea what was awaiting her in the house.

Gold heard her words & smiled, with them "There is nothing wrong with being scared & there are people that could teach you many of the things you just spoke of & also answer many of your questions" Since it was not an area he could help in all points & the last time he did much of what she asked about, was many years ago not that he forgot, just that he was sure that some of the ways had become easier with time. He felt Abi take his hand, he lightly squeezed it before he smiled as she brought the rose to her nose, at his words he spoke "You will make a wonderful mother" As she moved to enter the home he fallowed & he could not wait at what she would do

"There is nothing wrong with being scared & there are people that could teach you many of the things you just spoke of & also answer many of your questions" Gold had told her and Abi had looked down with a sigh. No she supposed he was right but it did not change the fact. She only hoped that she would make a good mother. That would be her goal. "You will make a wonderful mother" Gold told her as if reading her mind. Abi had to smile and she squeezed his hand for a moment.

Abi opened the front door and the scent of roses hit her. She stepped inside and then froze. "Oh my..." Abi whispered and she glanced around. There were vases of roses everywhere. It was almost like walking into a rose garden. She looked back at him. "How?" She asked softly. "How did you manage to do this? There wasn't any time..." Abi turned back to him now and her arms moved around his shoulders. "You are just too much" She told him happily. She kissed him and then moved deeper in to the house running her fingers over petals as she went.

Gold felt her as she squeezed his hand, he only gave her a light squeeze back. At Abi reaction, he smirked well it looked like he surprised her once more "There is always time & more so when you give people incentive to do what you ask" He at least had not be a total jerk, though he had insured he made it worth them doing as he asked, even if they would not have roses for a few days. He felt her light kiss before she moved off threw the house, he was glade to be able to do this for her, even if he was short on money he would of done this as much as he could. "Only for you my dear" He quietly now moved to fallow behind her a bit, letting her take everything it, he could not help smiling more as she went into each area.

Abi moved along through the house taking in all the flowers. She was stunned by the amount and Abi knew that it would have had to have cost quite a bit. He really was so generous. Abi could hear Gold's footsteps behind her. "This is really too much." Abi said softly before turning to him. "I don't deserve so much." They were in the living room now and Abi moved to the same couch she had slept on her first night here. She sat down now. Abi looked up at Gold. "I don't know how I am going to be able to work, be a mom and afford to take care of a child." Of course Abi knew that Gold had the money but she did not want for him to be the sole provider. These were the things she worried about.

Gold heard her words as he fallowed her "You do deserve it" As she sat down, he watched as she looked up at him before she spoke though it was not so much at him, more thoughts. Moving closer to her, he took a seat beside her as he spoke "We can find someone to help, in the times that we are not here, money will not be an issue for the care for ether of you & should the time arise that we could not find anyone to take care of the child or we do not find someone that works out, I can stay home" After all the pawn shop did alright, though if someone needed him or an item, they could call or come get him, if rent was do ether he could take the child as he went to get the rent or just give those that owed, a bit more time something he was sure they would love.

Abi looked at him but said nothing as he spoke to her. She did not know if he was trying to reassure her or if he really thought things would be so easy. Maybe it was just because he was male of because he did not fully understand. Yes it was true that money would not be an issue but only because he had it. Abi looked down for a moment. She did not really know why she was felling this way but it was hormonal changes in her body. This was all new to her. Really all they could do was wait and see how everything worked out. There were no set rules for being a parent. It was all trial and error when it came down to it. "I can't wait to go shopping and get its room set up." Abi said softly now.

Gold heard her words, he knew well not to press Abi at least for the time being, he knew she would be on edge & the odds where he would still find himself, the objected of her anger at times, but he had to excepted it. How ever with her words it did open the way out for something to do to help, with Abi to think on something else "What room, do you want to become the baby's room & when ever you want to go shopping we can" With that he waited for Abi words, there would be no issue with making the baby foom or in getting the items, but it was more when Abi wanted to get the items, what items & then what room, she wanted to choose for the baby.

"What room, do you want to become the baby's room & when ever you want to go shopping we can" Her asked her and Abi looked at him silently for a moment. "I don't know what room." Abi admitted. "What room would you be willing to part with?" She asked now with a soft smile. "And as for shopping, I am happy to shop anytime. It is never too early to start. Except with it being so soon in the pregnancy, things would have to be neutral." She of course meant the fact that they did not know if the baby would be male or female. In her mind she was going over rooms that they could make into the babies room but she would let him decide that.

He smiled softly with her words on what room he would give up "For the baby I would give up any of them, how every it might be wise to choose one that is close to ares, for when the baby needs use" And he knew it would happen, like no sleep for a few weeks, though he was not sure he wanted to worry Abi about that just yet, she was just getting into the idea of being a mother. "Of course & we could start shopping, perhaps as soon as we choose a room, to know how much space we have to work with"

"For the baby I would give up any of them, how every it might be wise to choose one that is close to ours, for when the baby needs use" He told her and Abi nodded. "Maybe my old room?" She asked now. Her old bedroom was almost directly across the hall from his... theirs.... She agreed that the baby should be close to their room if not in their room. "He had continued with "Of course & we could start shopping, perhaps as soon as we choose a room, to know how much space we have to work with" She smiled now. Now that Abi was thinking about it, there were so many things that she could think of that she would love to get for the baby. She took up her purse from the floor where she had placed it. Abi took out her wallet and checked to make sure she had money in it and or her bank card.

Gold heard her words & nodded "That would work & it would be close enough as well" He watched her at seeing her take out her wallet he looked at her with a raised eyebrow before he spoke "You are welcome to take my card or cash, what ever one you want to take" Of course what his was hers, though it was not he did not think she though of it like that, but she likely still wanted to do some of it on her own, with out him or his help.
