David had come to the dinner, like most did to ether get a bit to eat or speak with friends, today he came for food not knowing who else would be around, but if he saw anyone he knew he would take the moment to speak with them if they had the time. As he entered he did not see allot of people & more so that he really knew, but it was still early so people might not have gotten the chance to come here. In the end he took a seat before he ordered tea to drink & place an order of pancakes & a side of has browns with biscuits & gravy. His drink came first & now it was just the wait for the rest of his food to come, he got his tea the way he liked it before he started to drink it in his wait.

Ashley did not know why she was still working... Yes she did... the ever growing budge protruding from her midsection was the reason. Though she was in her third trimester and the baby was due soon, she could not take a leave from work. Not if she wanted to be able to afford a life for this child. She shook her head as she finished wiping down a table and then moved behind the counter to put away what she could. It was best to keep busy. He passed by the heat lamps and saw the order of food sitting there with0 the order slip. No point just leaving it there for the food to cool. Even with the lamp, food did not stay hot forever. Red was nowhere to be seen. Ashley took up the plate carefully and reached under the counter to take and basket of condiments before mover to the correct table and placing the plate before the man sitting there with his tea. "Enjoy." Ashley told him as she sat everything down and then she turned to move on with her work.

David saw Ashley being his food, he smiled to her at her words he spoke simple "Thank you" He did not miss her condition, a bit hard to & yet he could not question why she was here & not off, perhaps she did not mind the work or she needed the work for money, not that it really was his issue, but still it did not mean he did not think about it. He desided to talk to her a bit if she would any way "So when are you expecting?" Perhaps not the best way to state, but he was out so he could not really take it back "Sorry if my words upset you"

"So when are you expecting?" Ashley heard him ask and she paused before turning back to him slowly and running a hand protectively over her stomach. "Sorry if my words upset you" He added causing her to shake her head a little. If only the baby's father cared in the slightest. " You didn't upset me." Ashley replied now with a bit of a smile. "A month." She said to answer his question. "The baby's due in about a month." It was a scarey thought that in about thirty days, she was going to be a single mother. "I haven't sen you around here." Ashley added now. If he was interested in a conversation, she was game.

David watched her he did not miss her actions, but said nothing after all how many lady's in her place would not do the same. "A month, well that will be here before you know it" At her last words he bowed his head lightly before he looked at her "Sorry I forgot my manors I am David Creed" Though for the time he was not going to tell people, he was son of Gold, not likely to go over well with people at the moment.
