Making An Alliance (Jarethen)

Regina appeared in a puff of smoke outside the castle. It had taken her awhile to learn the location of this kingdom. She had already made an alliance with the Snow Queen and she was good friends with Maleficent. So that was two powerful sorceresses in her corner. She heard about King Jarethen and his kingdom of dragons. Even one powerful dragon could help her. But if they had an alliance she knew she could be unstoppable. she grinned as she was escorted to the throne room by palace guards as she walked in. It was empty at the moment as she guessed King Jarethen had just stepped out or was at some meeting. So she took a seat waiting for him to arrive.

Jetethen got the message form one of his gaurds that Regina was in his kingdom, he was not sure what brought the queen here but, he was not a push over like his brother could be he would deal with her as he dealt with all before, if she had some good reason to be here he would listen other tn that well he could no say it would go as well. He never had meet Regina, not that he did no hear storys of her,it was just he keep his kingom running away form others that might want it.

Entering the throne room, he saw Regina seating down if she was not titled issues would of come, he was dressed in leather pants & vest with boots & a green long sleeve shirt under te vest. He appoched Regina as he spoke "Let use hope Queen Regina you coming here is not a waist of time"

Regina smiled as he walked in.

"Of course not. I came to talk. I'd like to form a alliance between our kingdoms. I think we could of great help to each other. I'd outlaw hunting of dragons in my kingdom if you like. I'm not sure if there's any left in my kingdom. I do have a minotaur and a wolf guarding a maze underneath my castle. But other than that I think most people in my kingdom are humans." said Regina.

There were a few creatures here and there but they tended to be reculsive and live out their own in the country some where. She hoped she could convince Jerethen to agree to the alliance. It would help them both in the end.

He watched Regina not thinking she would try anything, but he could not say she would not. With her words he listened, he could not say that there was dragons in her kingdom ether, but it could allow some of his dragons to find more nesting spots in Reginas lands if he agree, but that left open to what Regina wanted form him. "An intresting offer, but what do you want form me for this alliance?"

His dragon gaurds where at the ready if he had need of them, yet he did not think it would come to such things, but that did not mean that she did not want him to help her take over something, since that is why most alliances where made.

"Well I'm not really interested in property. I know I could expand but unfortunately my people are rebelling and many are loyal to Snow White. I need to focus on my kingdom at the moment. I figured a few dragons would keep my people in line. And perhaps you could help me get rid of her. She's a thorn in my side." said Regina.

She paused knowing he might still turn her away.

"And I could help you out too. You scratch my back I'd scratch yours. A mutal alliance. You have any enemies or problems I could help you out with?" asked Regina.

She thought this could work. She was already allied with Maleficent and the Snow Queen. Jerethen would be another powerful addition. If he agreed to this alliance.

He heard his words "Getting rid of Snow White is not an easy task, more so if you have yet to do it" He thought to use a dragon to do this, might be the simpler way but, he would see "Are you looking at two dragons?" He watched her with her last question he spoke "I have not enemies or problems I need help with right now but, I can keep it in mind" He watched Regina "If I give you a few dragons, I know you spoke of protecting them but, what is to say that even such a steep would keep people form killing them or that"

Regina paused with a frown and nodded.

"My previous attempts have failed but I have gotten very close. And with your help I'm sure I could succeed." said Regina.

She paused with a grin.

"But whether she lives or dies that's just extra. Our alliance is to help us both out as well as our kingdoms. I wish to help out your dragons." said Regina.

She paused with a frown.

"Ah but you're wrong. You do have enemies. King Midas hired King George to destroy a dragon terrozing his kingdom. Their first attempt ended in Prince James's death. The second attempt ended in the deaths of several soldiers but Prince James's twin David killed the dragon this time and has been posing as James ever since. He chose to not agree with the arrainged marriage and he's Snow White's love. Because of these three men a dragon is dead. I'm not sure if he was one of yours. But dragons will not be safe in King George's kingdom or King Midas's kingdom. And their kingdoms are pretty big.

As for the remaining kingdoms well Agrabah has a sorcerer named Jafar who's the royal vizier. There haven't been any creatures sighted there. So that kingdom is out. Nottingham is taxed heavily and has bandits in the neighboring Sherwood Forest. And unless you're on good terms with the Dark One putting dragons near his home would be a bad idea. And King Charles's kingdom wouldn't be safe for your dragons either. They just as bad as Midas and George. That doesn't leave many options for you. I'm sure you could let them out in the country but well that would just people attacking them or hunting them for sport." said Regina.

She paused as he offered her dragons and worried about what would happen.

"Well a couple would be nice. But you're welcome to send as many as you want to live in my kingdom. You see I have a minotaur and a wolf living in my labryinth under my castle to prevent anyone from entering my castle that way. Dragons would be welcome in my kingdom and I have a magic mirror always watching. If anyone was foolish enough to even hurt a dragon in my kingdom they'd be killed. But with my mirror no one would even get the chance. I'd be able to stop it easily. And people would know not to harm any dragons. But if your dragons just keep to themselves like live in a cave of a field I think people would leave them alone. If they start attacking the countryside and killing livestock then there would be problems. I get more than enough food at my castle to feed a few dragons and could always get more delivered. I could even make a patch of land next to my castle a dragon preserve if you like. Of course they're always welcome to return here if they don't like it." said Regina.

He heard her words "It would apper some people need deal with of course my dealt with will be there deaths I would think would be a good price, how ever it would not happen as such I am sure but, other things can be done to them"

He watched Regina "It would apper we could use each others help & even if I might question am not sure how much you really want to help the dragons, but it appers you have a point" He knew his dragons needed more room to grow, so it would apper that Reginas kingom & maybe the dark ones kingdom could be an option, but not one he would go aginst him.

"I can send some dragons to your kingdom but, besides them being protected I want my family left be, by you or thothers that could harm them" He watched Regina as he held out his hand to her before he spoke holding out his hand "So do we have an alliance?" He would see if she wanted to add more to this alliance so he waited.

Regina grinned at him.

"Well getting rid of Prince James and Snow would solve both our problems. I'm not sure if the dragon was from your kingdom or not. But he's killed one dragon. He's even killed the siren that guarded Lake Nostros. He's tough but he's not invincible. But if you should require any assistance in taking out the prince or the plotting kings. Or anything else let me know. And I'll do the same if I require your help." said Regina.

She paused as he grinned.

"I'm not sure if you're heard of my mother Cora. She's now another realm called Wonderland ruling it. She's known as the Queen of Hearts. Growing up she used her magic against me to try to make obey her. I grew up in fear. Now that I have magic of my own and banished her I don't let anyone push me around. But I sympathize with your dragons. They remind me of how I used to be. They just want to be left alone and live their lives. Not being hunted or attacked. But I'll earn your trust. It will take some time but I'll earn it." said Regina.

She smiled as he agreed to send dragons but wanted them protected as well as his family. She nodded.

"Of course. I request for you to do the same. My boyfriend Eric known as the Horseman. My daughter Alex. And my staff of course. There's no reason for us to harm each other or our families and kingdoms. This is an alliance after all." said Regina.

When he held out his hand she took it and shook it.

"We do. I have a feeling this is the beginning of a great alliance. Perhaps in time we could even be friends." said Regina.

He heard her words, as she took his hand, once they shock he let her hand go as he spoke "It is alliance, I will send the dragons to your kingdom in 2 days, I am sure at some point I will have need of your help & I am not killing one if I have reason to do so king or other wise" Perhaps in time he would help Regina remove James or that but right now first steep was to do his part of the deal to get the dragons to her kingdom, he would have a few of his guards stay with them for a few days after words to see they took to the new kingdom well.

Regina smiled at him.

"I'm glad this worked out. I would prefer to have allies then enemies. Perhaps in time we could be good friends." said Regina.

She nodded listening to him.

"I will expect them. I will send out messages to not harm dragons in my kingdom. I can create a dragon sanctuary outside my castle. A place they can be safe. I can create a magic barrier around it that only dragons and the two of us can pass through. It may take time for news to spread through my kingdom. I do not want someone trying to hurt your dragons not knowing they are welcome in my kingdom. They are free to leave that area whenver they wish but no one could enter it to hurt them." said Regina.

She smiled hoping he would find this acceptable. Once word spread she was sure people would calm down. No one would attack dragons. There was hardly any hero types in the kingdom. Well except for Snow White & Charming and their small band of followers. But even they wouldn't be stupid enough to attack a group of dragons.

He listened to her words "Very well, I will agree with that & never hurts to have more allies then foes, but we will become friends or mearly remain allies" With the agreed terms he was not upset over as he spoke again letting her hand go "I can show you around if you wish or if you need to leave I will understand" Few could say they got it where he offered to show them around of course few made it to his castle.

Regina smiled.

"I'm glad to hear that. Our new alliance will help us both. I have a feeling this is the start of a good friendship as well." said Regina.

She smiled as he offered to show her around.

"I'd like that. I have no plans for the day and I'd like to see your kingdom. Your always welcome to visit mine when you wish. To check on your dragons or just stop by for a visit." said Regina.

She grinned waiting for him to start the tour.

He heard her words "I will keep that in mind" He would be sure to cheek on things later on, yet he did not think that he would have to at least for a bit of time anyway. He moved to show her around, his kingdom his ideas on what dragons would do best he spoke of as well other things about his kingdom, something that few would get in a tour of his kingdom.

He moved to some other dragons that where laying outside the grounds of his main castle wall he moved to one that was mainly place with some purple tone in the animal that was only noticed when close, he moved to touch hold out his hand to the beast, as the beast moved its neck closer to his hand touching his hand with its noise "This one I think would suit your kingdom well" He looked at Regina as he moved his hand form the dragon as he held it out to Regina "Here, take my hand" He waited to see if she would if she did he would move her hand with his to touch the dragon something he new would be safer for her then her just doing it her self for right now any way.

Regina nodded as they walked through the kingdom. She knew this alliance would take time to adjust but soon they'd be good friends she could tell. Soon they were near some dragons and she was amazed to see them. She'd heard stories and seen some in her magic mirror. But this was the first she got to see them up close. She nodded.

"I think it will. Such a magnificent creature. I've never seen them up close before." said Regina.

She paused as he said to take her hand. She nodded and took his hand guessing he wanted her to touch it. She just hoped the dragon was in a good mood today. She didn't want to get hurt if she could help it. Although she doubted they'd hurt their master and she wasn't their master. She was just someone offering them another place to live.
