Shandra
Where is the Character From: Red Riding Hood
BEHIND THE MASK
Age: Twenty Seven
Species: Werewolf
Height: 5 foot 10 inches
Weight: 160 pounds
Birthday: August 11th
Face Claim: Elyse Levesque
Physical Description: Tall and lean---borderline scrawny. That's the best way to describe Shandra's appearance. But she has a rather muscular underneath the somewhat scrawny appearance. Some may underestimate her because of that. Really--you shouldn't. Her dark hair (wavy as it is and going down past her shoulders) and bright blue eyes (that seem to do a good job of staying mundane even if she's pissed off or animated) are what some may call pretty. But she doesn't really care. Of all the things in the world she has to worry about (her brother, her friends, not getting killed and so on)--looks are really the last of her concerns. She will wear whatever us comfortable (jeans, t shirts that might be a size too big. jean jackets--things like that) and really could care less about the newest fashion crazes. That isn't what she is here for and so it matters little to her.

~The future--time can be a fickle thing as she has learned first hand and it scares her to be honest

WHO I AM IS NOT WHO I USED TO BE
Profession: She was an adviser to her brother as he became leader of their pack. For now though--is brother finder a job? No. Well then she's unemployed then.
Storybrooke History: Shandra has only been in Storybrooke for a short period of time. After sneaking onto Captain Hook's ship--she had ended up here...with no knowledge of the modern world and all of her fairy tale memories. She is struggling to find her place, the place where she belongs, and is desperately searching for her pack--Ren and Sam especially-- and yes perhaps even Graham too. She doesn't realize that things here are very different then they were back home and will struggle to come to terms with this and with the fact that the people she loves--may not remember her...
Fantasy History: Shandra was born in fairy tale land to a werewolf pack--or a combo of two depending on who you asked--consisting of her parents, her brother Ren, Samuel, Sam's parents and other pack members, Akela and the wolf's (the actual wolf's) master Graham. Everything seemed to be as normal as could be. The two families grew close and she watched as Ren and Samuel became best friends. They were more like brothers now then friends. It was a sweet thing to see.
Her relationship with Graham however was much more tense. Graham was a human. And sure he had a wolf with him. But that didn't change facts. The fact that neither of them were a werewolf like the rest of the pack. She kept a civil attitude towards Graham--he was here and he wasn't trying to kill them all so she was grateful for at least that. But she like many of the pack were nervous about how Graham would react to them all when he was older. Humans didn't like wolves or werewolves and Shandra was worried that he was going to turn on them eventually. She refused to let that happen and let him know on several occasions that she was keeping an eye on him. Graham and Akela would eventually leave the pack, which settled a lot of the tensions at present. Shandra felt a little guilty about how she treated the man, but still--family and the pack came first. And she wasn't going to let anything happen to them. Ever. She refused.
But things soon began to fall apart.
First Samuel went missing. Ren wanted to look for him and Shandra wanted to help, but the pack wouldn't let him. Wouldn't let either of them. Shandra supposed she could understand. The pack didn't want to loose Ren as he was destined to take over the pack. And the pack always had a male leader. Though she was still angry at them all for just abandoning their pack mate like that, but there was nothing she could do about it. And soon she became a vital member of the pack as well as she had become Ren's adviser. But of course worse times were to come. They were attacked by order of the queen. It didn't end well. At all. Their parents, Samuel's mother and most of the pack were killed. Dead. It broke her heart and then pissed her off. The queen was on her list now. Her list to die that was. Shandra wanted revenge as much as Ren did. But then the curse hit. She was separated from Ren as he and several others were dragged to God only knows where while she--she froze. She stopped moving as time stood still.
That was twenty eight years ago.
But now the curse was lifted. Shandra still remembered everything that happened like it was yesterday. And she knew that she had to find Ren, find Sam, find Graham. And she looked and looked and looked some more--she looked all over fairy tale land, but she couldn't find a single trace of any of them. And so she figured that they must have been taken elsewhere. But how was she going to get to somewhere else?
It was then she saw Captain Hook was about to take off. And she took this opportunity. He was going somewhere and she was going with him--whether he knew it or not. And so she became a stow away on the ship...using her werewolf abilities to stay hidden until they got to--well wherever they were going. And then the search would continue. She would find them. She had to. They were all she has left now...
Anything Else: She tends to fidget around a lot when nervous or anxious. She will be constantly running her fingers through her hair or popping her fingers subconsciously or shifting her weight from one foot to the other. Things like that.
Sample Post: Shandra's eyes as she looked around the strange, strange world she had suddenly found herself in. Where--where was she? She did not understand this. She watched the tall square structures and the skinny trees with no leaves with awe. All the humans walking along the hard grey ground. Shandra's bare feet brushed against the stone and she softly winced. This was much harder then any ground she had ever been on before. She wandered ever onward. She was here not to oogle. She was here on a mission. Find Ren. Find Sam. Find Graham. That all she was thinking about right now. She wasn't thinking about the fact that she had just walked out into the street. Or that a car was growing ever closer to her. And closer. And closer. And closer....
