Thumbelina/Phoenix/Lina Parker Phoenix arrived at the castle. She'd had a few training sessions with Rumple since becoming a dark fairy and he'd eventually invited her to his castle. She hoped one day he could make her apprentice but she was grateful enough for him to train her at all. He could have just left her in the forest. After all the original deal was to turn her into a fairy not to train her. She walked in nervously. Ren had shown in her and she was surprised Rumplestiltskin had slaves. But she wouldn't question it. She knocked on the door nervously waiting for Rumplestiltskin to allow her to enter his gold making room. That was where Ren said she would find him. She wondered what he'd have her do today. |

Rumple felt Phoenix as she entered his castle he had spells to tell him such things & more, once she was in his home he moved to greet her. He moved to appear with in the shadows before walking out as he spoke "Phoenix, I hope are ready for the day?" He giggled as if he knew something she did not "We will work on your control of your magic, I know what you have done so far yet this is where you will work to stop you magic in a moments notice" He would wait for her to be ready for he did not want have his home gone for it going wrong it was not the same as in the forested working with her. He was dressed in his leather croc skin vest with leather pants, boots & a red silk shirt. Of course he was not one to be messed with if he was tested for he was the dark one the most powerful in all the land & some had learned that the hard way on just how powerful he was.

Thumbelina/Phoenix/Lina Parker Phoenix grinned at Rumple. "Yes. I am. Thank you again for agreeing to teach me." said Phoenix. She was new to this so she might screw up. But he had agreed to teach her. If he didn't have the patience for that he wouldn't have agreed to teach her in the first place. Still she had the desire to be the best student she could be. She nodded. "Then let's begin. Where do we start first?" asked Phoenix. |

He heard her words "To start let use see how well you use all that you have learned together" It was a point to see what she could fully do having to do it all together, he could build with that to defending or attacking depending on what way it looked to go best for them right now not that Rumpel saw her as a threat it was more one had to be able to put moves together to get any where when it came to magic or anything.

Thumbelina/Phoenix/Lina Parker Phoenix looked at him confused. "And how do I do that? I have even learned one spell yet. Or do I know how to use magic and not realize it?" said Phoenix. She was still new to magic and wanted to learn. Offensive magic. Defensive magic. Size manipulation. Flying. And anything else she could learn along the way. |

He heard her words & giggled "I thought perhaps you had already tried something even if by mistake" He watched her "Very well let use head outside" Once outside he lead her to an area away form his castle yet they still could do a lesson "Since we will start form the beginning, we will start with something simple the element of earth, I want you to try to move that small stone on the grass" He pointed to the area he meant waiting to see if she could on a wish make it happen of if he would have to press her more & in away give her more reason to hate him not that he cared.

Thumbelina/Phoenix/Lina Parker Phoenix nodded. "I was tempted to but I didn't want to risk setting fire to something. Or having a spell go out of control. I know I'm bound to make mistakes but if I make them around you I can fix them." said Phoenix. She nodded as they headed outside. Once outside he asked for her to move a stone. "Alright. I'll try." said Phoenix. She paused looking at the stone as she waved her hand. At first nothing happened and she frowned. She clenched her fist in anger. Suddenly the stone flew from the ground and she grinned. "I did it." said Phoenix. But she'd lost her concentration on the stone as it flew towards her. She gasped ducking narrowly as the stone it a tree behind her and dropped to the ground. "I guess I need more practice." said Phoenix. |

He heard her words "It could be stopped, yet later it will be you that must stop anything that goes wrong" He was glade to see she was able to move the stone yet it was clear she lost focus making the stone spin out of control, he did not have to move as the stone came flying at a tree. "You need to focus more, if lose it at the wrong time things can go very bad" He watched her before he spoke "Try again"

Thumbelina/Phoenix/Lina Parker Phoenix nodded. She wanted to do this right. She focused on another stone as it flew into the air and started hovering a feet from her chest. She was actually doing it. She grinned and set the stone back down. "That was better right? Any pointers to help me improve? If I can't keep a stone like that in midair I wouldn't be able to move heavier things like chairs or logs." said Phoenix. She wanted to get this right and make him proud. Even if she never saw him again after these lessons it'd be worth it. Although she wasn't even sure if he'd admit he was proud of her. So she might have to settle for getting the job done right. |

Rumple looked at her with her words as if scuffing at them "I am not one to tell you good, after doing something that does not lead to something being destroyed. As for improving you must what it" And of course later when he thought she knew enough not to be dead he could give her a push to see just what she had learned & if she was focused enough to do something when she needed to under stress.

I mean maybe not now but the more I learn about magic the stronger the spells will become right? And the stronger I would become?" said Phoenix. She paused looking at him for a moment and spoke again. "So any pointers on how to do this better?" asked Phoenix. |
