Rumple, had just finished a deal of course the person was to quick to want the deal to have what he promised, then to think about what the out come or more they would have to pay, how ever it mattered little to him since he would get his part of the deal ether way, even if he had to strip away everything he gave the person to start with, perhaps not so directly since he could not change the past, how ever he could make the person wish they had keep there part of the deal.

The Piper had been traveling, he took a moment when he came to a rocky area that had a stream running by it to take a break, before heading on. He had only been making a few deals here & there, he knew well, that people where seeking out others to do the job, not that he could do anything about it, more he just hopped he would be able to keep food on the table & that for himself.
As his mind though of this he took a short lunch, before he decided to play it would help to ease his mind from such worried thoughts & once he was cleaned up, he did just that, he moved the flute to his lips before he stated to play, the tune was his own though it held no will on anything around, more just the pleasant sound to help him.

Rumple could not say it was the music its self that got his attention, more who would be out here. Not that he cared it was more he would like to know, after all was it not wise to know those that where close to your lands? And more so when you where not one that liked allot of people coming & going unless they where they to make a deal, not that all did, but most did for any other time they avoided him like the plague.
As he drew closer he could see a man seating down playing a fluted, not something uncommon here, but not that he though of it there was more to the man then first glance, he could feel the hint of magic so that left him to question if the man was a wizard or that of some kind of if perhaps he had an item that was of magic property, he smirked only one way to find out so with that he approached the man with no fear though he did well to do so, form the mans back allowing him much more surprise.
"Interesting music you play piper" Of course he said piper more because it was what one was called that played the flute, so why not give the man some form of title when it was more suited then not saying it to him at least.

The Piper heard the mans words, of course it startled him making him stop playing as he looked at the man or a man that had skin that looked more like scales? And was golder & spots of green? How could that be? He though best not go to into why or ask on it, after all it was not his place was it.. to judge others so. "Thank you" Of course he heard the rumors of the dark one, yet at the moment he had no idea that the very man was before him, something that could turn out really bad for him, if he did something to upset the man.

Rumple head the pipers words he smirked, before he spoke "So tell me Piper, what brings you here after all few travel this path even with it being a short cut form one village to the other, unless they have dealings with the dark one. For many say it is best to avoid the beast as much as one can, at least if you like to believe it all"

The Piper heard the mans words "I cannot say that I do have any dealings with them, I mealy choose this path because as you say it is a short cut. So friend, what name should I call you? I have none more the Piper as you have titled me, the many have called the the Pied Piper, a name I have used so long, that I just gave up my old name"

Rumple heard the Pipers words, of course it mattered little if he had a deal he came here for it was more interesting that he came this way, short cut or not. He decided he had no reason not to give his name "I am Rumpelstiltskin" It did not mean the man knew of him, yet he had head of the man, skill in some of the ways like him & deals, but he was stronger & always would be then the Piper. "I suppose I will take my leave Piper, I need to be on my way before it gets much later. Kind of like you I am sure & the need to leave to get to where you need to be"

The Piper heard Ruple say his name he nodded with his words "Yes, in fact I do & it was good to meet you Rumpelstiltskin" Though he had the feeling that it was more, you need to be on your way indeed then you just can go at your pace, he got up before heading away, to finish going the he was going & get to where he needed to be.
