Ashley smiled at her new born daughter. The baby sat in her car seat of which the clamps at the bottom that held the seat into the base for the car also locked onto the seat of the grocery cart. The baby was dressed in a cute little white and pink sweatsuit while Ashley wore blue skinny jeans and a grey zip up hoddie. Her blond hair was back in a loose ponytail. She looked comfortable and happy. Ashley cooed to the baby as she made her way through the aisles.
She took things off the shelves or out of the freezers as she moved. Things were so good now. She was technically a single mom but that was okay. She was working hard to do the best she could and a few friends had stepped up and helped her get back on her feet. Ashley could she the end of her problems. In the cart were packages of meat and fruit.
She was doing the best she could to keep herself healthy now so that the baby could be healthy as well. She was so happy that everything had worked out. That she had the baby and that Gold had not gotten her. She still feared Gold however. She always would.

Gold had made the deal with emma, so Ashley could keep her baby how ever even with that it did not mean he could not still play, he was feared here for a reason it was best he keep that way of course the idea only came to mind more when he saw Ashley at the grocery store, when he came in for something of course even with coming in for something did not stop him form being what people hated after all he had no reason not to be. He of course he was headed to the front with what he had come here for the reason his path crossed Ashley, but he was still not turning back. He smirked a bit as he approached, the only give away of him even being around was the sound of his cane on the ground other then that he gave no sound away as he approached.

Ashley had heard the sound of the cane on the hard floor before she saw the man. It made her eyes widened and her back stiffen as she looked around for him. When she faced front again, there he was. Protectively she placed one hand on the baby's head and she sneered at the man though her eyes still showed her fear. What were the odds that she would have to be here at the same time he was? She could feel her heart jack hammering in her chest and she frantically tried to think of a way to get away without making her fear obvious. Ashley turned the cart now to walk away in the other direction.

Gold of course saw Ashely actions he said nothing, he did not need to for the moment for it was cleared what she though of him. "Running so fast are we?" He could not help taunt even if he was headed the same way any how, he moved for the front any how not sure if she would speak or not, to his words yet it might get her going in some way.

Ashley paused when he spoke. She turned her head to meet his eyes. "I am not intimidated by you, Mr. Gold." She emphasized his name in the lie. Her voice was clear but a little shaky. What they had had in way a deal was no more. She had to keep telling herself that. "I owe you nothing and you hold nothing over me." She only hoped her words were true. Turning her back on him had been a mistake and she knew it now. She was thankful he had not taken it chance to do anything. "I remember you now Rumpelstiltskin." She added coldly. Ashley stood there and waited. She would let him pass her. It was safer to have him in front.

Gold chuckled lightly at her words as he moved to leave "So you say dearie, your actions say other wise" He smirked, as he looked at her "I never said you did own many anything, at least sense are deal came to an end now have I?" He looked at her saying anything as he moved to pass her, it was not his fault she did not make a better deal or more so keep hers, yet he was always blamed for issues of people & them not wanting to pay there end of the deal or most people did any way the sound of his cane fallowed him as he moved to pass her.

"My actions?" She repeated as he stepped around her. "You will be nothing here anymore. Now that people remember who you are. No one will make deals with you anymore." She started walking along behind him. "And you can be fooled. I remember that. You are greedy. That's how I had you locked away in the first place." She was taunting him with the way she had tricked him back in the old world. "What kind of man does not read the fine print?" Ashley knew this was dangerous but really, what could he do here? She however did not know where this vindictive side of her was coming from. In the back of her mind something was telling her to just shut up. The baby gave a soft cry and she glanced at her daughter quickly and slipped one finger into the babies hand.

Gold stopped her her words, he looked at her as she spoke on he smirked "You say that, but in the end even in the old world people knew of me & yet they still where in need of a deal in one form or another" He steeped closer to her a bit, before he spoke as he spoke again "You had me locked up dearie? As I recall I said the only way to stop me was with magic & that to break your deal with me would not turn out well" He looked at her "Do you think I did not see what you had planed coming in some way?" He smirked "Besides I would not go into reading the fine print if I where you, after all you did not ether so let use not cross that line shall we, besides it was not mealy the contracted that stopped me it was the quill with its magic spell on it, that held me at bay not the contracted" He looked at her, as he waited for her words something he was sure she would have.

She forced herself to hold her ground as he stepped back towards her. Her head came up in a defensive stance. "The quill was just the icing on the cake." Ashley told him with a hint of venom. "I flat out lied to you and you bought it. You're a fool." She sneered again. "As for my contract, you took advantage of a scare teenager. I wouldn't be proud of that..." She paused for a moment thinking of the fear and hurt she had been feeling then. "Thankfully the sheriff came to my aid. I just may do the same for Belle. God knows she needs to know the type of man she married." That was of course just an empty threat. Ashley would never take that kind of risk.

He saw her hold her ground, he smirked "Yes & people are always so quick to want things & yet not be willing to pay for it in the end, you where not the first & in the end it still cost you & would of cost you more had not Emma come to your rescue, scared teenager I did not twist your arm to sign, in fact you where champing at the bit" He looked at her with her thread "You go right a head & do that, we can see what happens" Unlike her he could back up his words, she could go tell Belle the truth, but she already knew most of his crimes so it would do her little good other then to make Gold not have her in any grace where he would not harm her.

"It cost me nothing." Ashley spat back. "Did you really think I would just hand her over? Even if Emma had not been there I would have fought you." When he responded about her threat involving Belle, Ashley looked away for a moment. "...we can see what happens..." Was the part that intimidated her and she was sure he knew that. She may be standing up to him here. But she knew that if they were a lone, she would not have the nerve to do this. She had heard about what he did to Moe the florist. This man was dangerous even without his powers. "I'll have to make sure she I chance to talk then." Ashley told him now. Her voice though was softer and a bit more timid. "Your despicable. I thought so in the other world and I think so now. Ashley started forward again brushing by him as she passed. "And I will do everything in my grasp to make sure Belle knows everything."

Gold smirk only grew "You might have, but then there is no saying you would of won is there?" Gold heard her words of Belle thought it did not threw him, he was not easy to threw here or the other world he would not be so simple to put off. "You think your thoughts on me matter to me?" He knew people hated him for all different reasons, mostly because they made a deal & in the end they could not pay him, so he took something because of it or it cost them, he was in many ways hatted because he became the dark one & just feared once he became the dark one just he was hated more.

"Oh, is that what losing your true love was?...Nothing, well then why ask me where he was if he meant nothing?" He had asked her and now Ashley felt herself getting angry. That was a low blow. She made sure the baby was secure and then turned back to face him. Ashley forgot momentarily where they were. She was angry now. She walked back towards him. "You bastard." She hissed at him. "You took away the only man I truly and completely loved. What the hell do I care what matters to you.?"
She was in front of him now. So close that she was sure that he could feel her breath on him. She would never have touched him if her heart was not broken open at the memories. Her pale hand formed into a fist and before she could stop herself, she punched him right in the mouth. Hard. Seconds later, Ashley realized what had just happened and she gasped softly but she forced herself not to panic. She made her self remain strong despite what she had just done. "Where is my prince?" She whispered now.

Gold heard her words, he only gave a flicker of a smirk though he held his ground all the same even as she approached him, though he was taken off guard as she hit him in the mouth, the force was enough that it set him off edge & he was sent to the ground, he looked at Ashley as his hand with out the cane went to his face where she hit him, at her words he looked at her, he was silent a bit before he spoke he moved to get to his feet before he did keeping his eyes on her more now then before "So now you want my help with that question?"

Okay, she had not meant to knock him off his feet... He was a lot older than her of course and obviously had a bad leg. Ashley looked around to see if anyone had seen what had just happened. Then he was getting back to his feet. Ashley did not offer to help him. "So now you want my help with that question?" He asked her and Ashley blushed. She was silent for a moment before she spoke. Actually, she was surprised. Ashley would not have put it past him to hit her back. "Why did you do it?" She asked him now. "Why take him from me? My husband and the father of my child." Ashley shook her head. "You have your love... give me back mine..." She still had not moved away from him. She was keeping a keen ear for the baby though.
