Abi sat alone at one of the large wood tables in the center of the library. The wood of the table was dark brown and highly polished. At least the parts of the table she could see. There were small piles of books all around her. The the florescent lights from high up above cast glares from the wood and from metal fixtures.
Abi did not bother with any of this however. She was bent over a book with her dark brown hair hanging down around her face and the book like a curtain. Abi was planning. Things were different here in Storybrooke. The rest of the world seemed to be changing around them. Abi wanted to see some more of that. She wanted to have a bit of fun.
The books around her were travel books from around the world. but the one she was reading right now was a cabin vacation. Rent a cabin by the lake. That sounded interesting. Abi sat on the second floor of the library but she was so absorbed in the book, she noticed noting else.

David had come to the library, to pick up some books & see what else was of interested of course he did not expected to see Abi, but it was a nice chanced though form the look of her she was deep into the book or what ever she was reading, so in place of scarring her by touching her as much fun as it would be, with out knowing what she would do could be bad for him. He approached the table Abi was at, he was standing across form her before he spoke "Any interesting read?.... It must be, to have you so into it it or could it be you just have a passion for books?" Even the years away form his father, he was still his fathers son, not as stilled with his way with words, but at times he could be more like him then he would of though with the time away & not having him around. He had a few books that he set on the table away form her books, that where laying around.

"Any interesting read?...." She heard and Abi jumped. She looked up. "It must be, to have you so into it it or could it be you just have a passion for books?" There was a moment where surprise was on her face and then in moments, she smiled. "David." Abi said softly. She motioned for him to sit. "I am trying to find a place for us to get away. If only a little while." She told him now. "A place to just... relax... I have some peace. No shop no Regina..." No deals... she finished in her mind but she did not say this part out loud. "I'm thinking a cottage. Just for a week or so. A lake, a campfire, no noise."

David saw Abi jump he heard Abi words he nodded lightly as he took a seat with her motion to do so, as he listened to her words. "I am sorry to have startled you Abigail, I am sure you both would enjoy it greatly, will be interesting in what you find. Any ideas for a place yet?" He knew that there was some terms to this place with coming & going, like one never could be away long, but he wondered if it would not become more later on or if it could change.

Abi tucked her dark hair behind her ears when he sat. She looked up at him and then back to the book. She shrugged. "There are few lakes around here." She told him. She patted the spine of another book that lay open but face down. The book was a road map of Maine. "I just want to find a place away from modern living." She wanted a place where they could just be. "Do you remember much of what the two you did together?" She asked now. She looked at him and tilted her head slightly. Maybe it would give her ideas for what he would like to do now.

David watched her, at her words he listened before he spoke "I do though, I came before the curse in a way that was my own curse" He decided to not speak more of that it was not something that was happy thoughts most of it any way "It was mostly fishing or I would help him with the wool or the sheep if sheering was involved" He was not sure how much she knew of his fathers before life & he was not sure if it was his place to say, after all they had been poor & to many nothing, perhaps they where lower then nothing since his father was scene as a coward & he was a son of a coward so he later learned & then once he got the power things changed for the better to start, but it started to get worse & his father as well, the reason he made the deal with his father, the reason he tried to find a way to break the curse & the reason he had ended up alone coming here.

"I do though, I came before the curse in a way that was my own curse" David told her and Abi looked into his eyes not saying anything. "It was mostly fishing or I would help him with the wool or the sheep if sheering was involved" He went on changing the subject. Belle gave a soft smile. "There will be a lake." She said trying to sound up beat. "We will be able to fish." She wanted to make sure her husband had a good time. She thought of David as well however. "Maybe you would lie to come along?" She asked now. "Maybe a family trip?" They were family after all. It was about time they had time to get to know each other without the mayor around.

He heard Abi words, he could not help as he looked at her "Why planing to threw me in?" Of course if he had the chance he would, even his father he would just make sure he was out of the water before the man. "I will think on, it if nothing else let me know what you two decided & I will let you know" Of course he could not say his father would say no, but he could not say that the man would not want to be alone with Abi ether "I do not wish to impose, after all you to might want to be alone"

Abi heard his words. It almost seemed to her as if he did not want to go. She gave a soft smile. "Thats fine." She told him softly. She had pretty much made up her mind where they would go. She took up a few of the books including the ones that she had left open. She would check them out and take them home to show he husband. So that he would know where she wanted to go. She wanted to be as far away from population as possible. No reminders of what was going on. She just wanted to hide from it. Abi did not even know if David knew what had happened.

David heard her words "Alright I look forward to hearing form one of you then" He watched Abi it was hard not to "Do you need any help?" He would help if she needed it, but he did not know what had happened, in a way it was likely best any way for it was between them, of course if Abi asked or that he would help as best he could with ether of them, but for now all he knew was the two where looking at a trip & he was invited just to where he did not know.

When he asked if she wanted help, Abi had just stood and now she paused with the books in her hands. Abi hesitated and then looked down a the books before saying. "Of course." She gave another smile. "Thank you, David" Belle handed the books to him. She could have carried them on her own but if she was to be honest, with the growing baby, her back was getting sore. Belle led the way downstairs to the check out desk. Once the books had been signed out, she turned to David again. "Would you like to come home with me and have dinner?" She asked now. "We can go to the shop and meet up with your fahter."

David took the books she handed him, he had his before she gave him hers, yet he made no issue to how ever many books she wanted. At her words he smirked "Your welcome" After all he knew if he did not offer he would of had his father to deal with, something he did not fear just he did not want to get into it with the man, over something he told him since he was old enough to understand. He fallowed Abi, as he listened to her words he spoke "I would like that thank you Abigail, that would be fine, I am sure seeing you will only be a ray of sun shine to him"

"I would like that thank you Abigail, that would be fine, I am sure seeing you will only be a ray of sun shine to him" He told her and Abi smiled before nodding slightly. "I do believe that you have been known to bring a smile to his face as well." She replied softly. Seeing his standing there with all of his books plus her own made Abi feel bad. Pain in her back or no, she could carry her own. Why make his take on the extra weight. She read a lot and had picked out a lot of books. "Good night, Mrs. Gold." The Librarian called and smiled back at the older woman before slipping her her books from the pile in David's arms. "I'll carry them David." She told him. "There is no need for you to carry them, they're heavy." And they were but books in hand, Abi moved through the library doors and outside where the sun was setting. She turned towards her husbands shop and started walking.

David smiled "I have, but not in the same way" David heard Abi words as she took her books he fallowed after her "They are not heavy" He moved in front of her to stop her "Besides, I really do not want to know what a cane upside the head feels like, so please allow me to carry them" He was not a fool, it would not matter if Abi wanted to or not, she was pregnant & he was not he would live & it would also be not so hard on her.

Abi was forced to stop walking as he stepped in front of her and now she looked up at him slightly surprised. "Besides, I really do not want to know what a cane upside the head feels like, so please allow me to carry them" He told her and after a moment, Abi chuckled. Yes, she supposed her husband would not like her carrying this weight. Saying nothing, Abi carefully returned the books to his arms and then one hand moved to rub his upper arm gently. She stepped around him now and continued to the store. She opened the door to the pawn shop and then stepped back holding it for David to enter. Abi always loved this shop. Her eyes quickly moved over everything in here including the one customer who had been in the shop.
