Rumple had just finished a deal with a giant, of course there where becoming fewer & fewer of them, but Rumple could not say there was not some form of pleasure in meeting one & more so when making a deal & with out the treat of being eaten. Though many did not do such things it was only a few & it cost them greatly because of it, of course right now there was only a few so call giant killers or those that called them self's so & many died before they could make any name for them self's.
Rumple was dressed in his dragon hid vest, with a wine colored silk shirt under it fallowed by his dragon hid pants & boots. His outfit was his trade mark, for the dragon hid matched his skin or more closely then other things, but even a crocodile he was said to look like at one point so perhaps some scaly beast that man feared was the best way to say what he was. He moved down a path ready, to head home unless something keep him, though he did not see that being the case.

Robin had heard that Rumple was in the area and he made his way to where their paths would cross. This would be the first time that he would look for the man with purpose, the other times they had just happened to run into each other. Robin leaned against a tree waiting on the side of the road for the man to appear. He wore his usual outfit, blending in with the forest, his bow and arrows and knife at hand. His worn boots were surprisingly clean for the amount that he traveled.
He had heard many things about Rumples ways and he wanted to confront the man about his practices. However, Robin wasn't blind either and wasn't about to think that Rumple would change his ways. Robin just wanted facts, and not stories. He wanted it to come from the source.

As he approached an area more heavy with trees, he saw Robin though it was clear there was something in the air this time, Rumple felt it he was not fully sure to what it was about, but he knew it was there & it was the kind of feeling that two worlds would crash together or two great beasts of the forest to see who was the top, though perhaps he was wrong most the time he was not, but there was still a slim chance he would be, since he did not see everything just allot of things when it came to his deals & making them.

Robin stepped out onto the road, the air feeling thicker, as his own mind was more focused on confronting Rumple, rather than having a chat. Robin knew that in order to continue on with his interactions with Rumple and to better understand what was happening around him, he needed to know the truth.
Robin spoke clearly and with determination. "Rumpelstiltskin, I want the truth. I want it straight from your mouth on what exactly you do, with a deal and your actions in and outside of the deals." Robin looked at the man waiting for what he was going to say.

Rumple felt more that something was coming when Robin steeped out onto the road more so blocking his path, at his words Rumple smirked as he looked at him he could not help, but giggle at the hole fact of things going as they where "And what business is it, of yours one how I do my so called deals & there ends & outs?" Of course he stopped closer to Robin he did not fear the man, but then he did not fear anything so he had the upper hand & he did not think it mattered to speak on his deals with others since when was it there business if Robin wanted an answer he would have to give him a good reason to answer it, even if it came to a deal.

Robin looked at Rumple, it was after all the answer he had been expecting. Robin knew that compared to what Rumple could do that he didn't really have a chance in doing anything. Yet, but because of this, because he had nothing to lose, Robin was determined. He helped the poor and the poor were suffering, and all ties had kept coming back to involvement with those of great power.
Robin spoke calmly, anger only in his voice when he thought of the Queen. "It is my business for in order to understand, in order to help others from oppression, no, the enslavement and persecution of innocent people from those such as the Queen, I need to understand what it is you really do. I know the Queen, I know what she is like. I don't know you, and I wish to understand what it is you do. I want to separate fact from fiction."

Rumple heard his words though he was still not so quick to answer, he would hold his ground for now "And what is it you have heard, perhaps I will clarify it for you" He had heard the rumors & whispers, but some where true others where just more quested to the other persons favor that made a deal with him, though he was use to it. He was not liked because he always came for what he was owed & he did not back down when taking it, a deal was a deal & he keep his half of the deal others should as well.

Robin didn't know if Rumple really was going to tell him that easily, give him clarification. Though, maybe Robin was one of the first people to actually try and understand the man. "I'm sure you've heard what people are saying."
Robin paused before continuing, "I guess what makes you decide on the deal, like the price to what you are giving the other person. Many have said that you ask for too much. And then there are the stories about you turning people into gold statues or killing them because they didn't do something, or because they just upset you."

"I have heard a great deal of what they have said, of course & yet people still come to me for deals" It was true after all "I suppose I have done all at some point, though you must also question those that say I ask to much, did they still make a deal with me? To those that made a deal with me, did the payment become to much before or after I gave them what they wanted? As for turning people into things or killing them, did they give reason for it to happen?" For the most part they had ether a deal, when wrong or someone harmed those he cared for & his anger most the time got the better of him, but did he go around turning people into things no, he felt he had to have reason even if just for himself.

Robin nodded, it made sense after all. He had acted the same when it came to people promising him help or to donate to the poor. He wasn't able to turn people into things, but public humiliation and death could always happen, if he was pushed far enough. Rumple's reasoning seemed to good to indicate that he would go around recklessly destroying things for fun. It seemed to Robin that the man had a plan, a greater picture he was aiming towards, and it was very intricate.
Robin looked at Rumple, "and the way deals work you can also turn down an offer of a deal if it does not suit you."

Rumple giggled "Of course I can" Of course it never worked out quit that way for it appeared people where always willing to agree to his terms, likely the reason he was hated to such a degree, not that it is his fault it just happen that way.

Robin smiled, "well, it seems to me like you have planned a lot of things. And with your ability to pick which deals you want to make then you really could be working towards a larger goal. No, you are working towards a larger goal. The question is though, is it to destroy happiness or to help it prevail, or a little bit of both?" Robin raised his eyebrow as he looked at Rumple. He didn't expect the man to reveal anything, it was just interesting to see how Rumple worked, what he was about.

Rumple smirked "Who knows, you may never know since I see not reason to say" Of course his main goal was to get his son back everything else well it came second to him, of course he knew that Belle was doing something to him he just could not say for sure though he found himself for the moment with her around not as hell bent on pushing for the curse to happen it would happen when the everything feel into place.

Robin laughed, "true, like I would never tell you mine. I am glad though that we have gotten to what is supposedly the bottom of this deal making of yours."
Robin adjusted his arrow strap, "from the way things appear to me, I feel that it is best not to take any great course of action, at this moment. Time has a habit of revealing treasures to those who wait." Robin had wanted to get rid of the Queen, or at least those that oppressed the people, but he had the feeling that something larger was at work. For after all he believed in happy endings, and needless killing or even killing for hatred or revenge was not really his style.

Rumple heard his words "As much info that I will give with out a deal being made, anything else Robin before I take my leave?" He would wait for him to answer before he would take his leave or that, though he was not sure what got Robin interested in his so called deals, of course the rumors & that helped he was sure, but he wondered if it could not be more.
