Lisa chuckled. "That's for sure." she said when he said it was not much fun to run behind if she owed rent to Mr. Gold. "I've only really met him in person maybe once but that was enough for me to understand that I don't want to be on his bad side." she said.
When Jarethen metioned about the place having something about it that makes you want to stay and not want to leave she smiled. "Yeah, I'm not sure why but it does feel like 'I need to be here' for some reason." she said in agreement. "I love sailing too, or rather I used to. I almost drowned years ago and haven't been back on a boat so part me of does miss being out on the open sea, but it's just too hard for me to even try." she admitted. Though that memory of almost drowning was of course part of her Storybrooke memories keeping her from trying to leave any other way.

He heard her words he smirked "Yes, I have had a few dealings with him my self & it is clear form those times he is indeed not one to cross, of course cannot say I have or ever wish to for that matter" He head to agree with her it could not feel reason to leave he was not sure why, he did not question to ask "I am sorry to hear that, it cannot be easy to lose the chance to do something you clearly loved" He thought about it "Can you go out & down to the water with no issues or is even that hard on you?" He was not sure if perhaps she could find help to get her back to where she could do what she loved to do again.

Lisa chuckled. "Yeah, he knows how to make a deal but can't seem to deal with people very well." she joked. Though really it was true. "But really, I can completely agree, I'm not about to dig my own grave and cross that man." she said with a smile. Then he said he was sorry she lost the chance to do something she clearly loved.
"Well, to be honest it is really sad and I hope I can get over it one day." she said. "But I can at least be in the water, it's really just a certain depth that makes me nervous, especially if I'm on a boat." she said. "I can go down by the water and look out and even get in the water though. I don't have any problems with that since the accident happened out in the middle of nowhere in the water." she explained.

He chuckled with her words "I suppose so, yet suppose it does not help when so many hate & dislike you" He nodded with her words "I hope you can as well & it is good you are able to get in the water/ Perhaps your boyfriend could help you get over it" He watched her a moment, not sure if she had a boy friend yet it was best to not steep on any toes, as he enjoyed his food "The food is very good" He took a drink at times as well just taking his time as if thinking of what else to speak of he thought a few moments "Any thing you like to do?"

Lisa nodded in agreement when he said that it did not help Mr. Gold's attitude wasn't helped by being disliked or even hated by so many people. "That's very true." she said. She smiled when he said that perhaps her boyfriend could help her get over her fear. "Are you fishing to see if I have a boyfriend?" she joked.
"I'm actually single though, so unfortunately that's not possible." she said of a boyfriend helping her to get over her fear.
"Thank you." she said with a smile. She was a fairly good cook she figured, though definitely not restaraunt quality cooking. She took a drink of her beer.
When he asked if there was anything she liked to do she shrugged. "I like to fish a bit, but usually end up just hanging out at home having a couple of beers when I'm not working." she said.

He heard her words "And if I were?" He lightly joked back "It was more would hate to be steeping on anyone's toes ate least at the moment & I cannot say that if you did they would take well to me being around with you, might think I was up to something" He smiled with her words "A good way to enjoy your free time, cannot say mine would be to different & nothing wrong with a beer or more at times, so long as one can handle it"
He was surprise she was single "I am surprised that you do not have a boy friends, but then again you still can find someone & if nothing else I am willing to hang out with you if you need it on one of your days off & you do not wish to be alone in your beer drinking or what ever" With that he said nothing allowing her to take the words as she wanted, he did not need to worry on at least someone would take seeing them together wrong well they might, just not the way he was thinking at the moment.

Lisa smiled when he asked her 'and if I were?' about him possibly fishing to find out if she was dating one. "Well, I'm not going to lie. For one, I would be incredibly flattered." she said with a smile. "But no, no boyfriends to step on their toes of." she said. "Just me, my job and beer." she joked.
"Well, I would definitely welcome the company." she said with a smile. "And thank you for being surpised." she said. "But really it's just because I work nights, sleep during most days, and the guys you meet at a bar, where I work, are often not the kind of guys you want to date." she said honestly.

He was supprised she was not upset that he might have some intrested in her, he could not help but smile with her words of being flattered. "I am glade to hear thier are no toes to steep on, not a bad combanation" He was glad she would welcome the company "I am glad to hear you would enjoy the company" He smirked "I suppose with the men not being the kind you want to date I will take your word on it"
He softly joked "So what kind of guy are you looking for?" He was not sure where he got to be for a word brave to ask, perhaps the beer was helping or the idea that they were not really speaking of them helped yet as he moved to be almost done with his food & beer he waited for her words as he did he continued to work on his food & drink,

Lisa smiled when he said that it was not a bad combination of not having toes to step on. "I'm glad you're offering to give me company honestly. You sure your girlfriend won't mind you coming to hang out at the apartment of such an incredibly attractive woman as myself." she said jokingly. She was not conceited or anything like that, just thought it would be more fun to joke around when she asked him if he had a girlfriend so SHE wouldn't be stepping on any toes hanging out with him.
She chuckled when he said he would take her word on the guys that hung out at the bar during her shift were not date worthy. "That's probably for the best. Really I'm sure most aren't so bad, just after a few drinks they aren't very fun to deal with." she explained.
She finished her food and her beer and considered what kind of man she was looking for exactly. "I'm not really that picky I don't think. A kind but brave sort of guy who can hold his drink would make me happy." she said with a chuckle. "What about you, what is your ideal girl?" she asked him.

He chuckled as he laughted out load "I do not have any girlfriend, at least in the manner you are speaking" He had frineds that where girls, might of had a fling or something he thought was more, but nothing now. "So I can work around when you need me"
He heard her words, he thought on how to answer her as he moved to finish his meal he could not say he was really that kind of man perhaps he was yet he had a hard edge to him. He smieked at her words yet he said nothing to the words as she made the joke "I am not sure, one with a humor is good, one that does not mind speaking her mind of course I suppose if one finds the right preson then that is all that matters & each will complement the other" With that he was done with his food & drink "I want to thank you again for the food & beer it was great as is the company.

Lisa smiled, "Oh?" she said of him not having a girlfriend. "Well, in that case it'll be nice for both of us I think to have some company." she said with a smile. "I'll have to give you my cell number to keep in touch, any time you want someone to hang out with and vice versa then?" she offered.
As they finished their meal, Lisa got up and cleared the table, putting the dishes in the sink, putting up the left overs and then brought 2 more beers out to drink. "So humor, and someone who speaks her mind?" she said repeating what he said he was looking for in a girl. "I agree, complimenting eachother and finding the right person is what truly matters. The rest of that stuff is just a guideline until you meet the right person." she said with a smile.
"Thank you." she said with a smile as he said that the food and beer was as great as the company. "I enjoyed your company as well." she said with a smile.

He nodded lightly with her words of being nice for both of them for the company "Sounds good, I can give you my cell & home phone encase you do not reach me on one or that you have the other one. It will be good to be able to do things together even if it is off & on" He chuckled "I cannot say every one enjoys my company" He watched her a moment "Would you like me to wash the dishes?" He waited to see what she would say, he was not sure on if he should stay or go, but for now he would play it that it was fine to stay for the time. He was glad to of meet Lisa it was a nice change of things, he could not say he had a tone of friends yet having a few it would be great.

Lisa smiled. "That would be great." she said. She got up again and grabbed a small pad of paper and a pen and wrote down her number and passed both over to him. "This way we won't forget." she said with a smile.
She chuckled when he asked if she would like him to do the dishes. "Don't be silly, dinner was to thank you, I can't have you doing the dishes afterwards." she said. "But thank you for offering." she said.
"So, tell me more about yourself. Unless you have somewhere to be? I don't want to keep you if you do." she said, worried she might be keeping him away from something important.

With her words he smiled as she wrote down her phones as she passed it to him he took her phones before he wrote down his own before passing it back over the pad to her. "Well you could, but will not fight you over it" He heard her words "No where to be, I am not sure what all to say I have been here for I do not know how long, working over at Granny's when I first got here & rented a room for a time, before I rented a place form them am looking for something bigger & might have found a place across form the dinner that will work for me. I suppose what would you like to know? And anything more you would like to add?" He was not sure, but it will help them get to know each other better.

Lisa smiled when he said she could ask him to do dishes but he would not fight her over it. "Well thank you for offering, but there aren't that many and really it'd give me something to do later." she said with a shrug. She listened as he told her what he did since coming to Storybrooke. She wondered what else she could ask him to get to know him.
"Well, for starters, what kind of hobbies do you have?" she asked curiously. "And where do you work?" she asked him. These were smaller questions but she was genuinely interested.
