(Before the Curse Breaks In Storybrooke)
Jerethen had come to get a few items that he needed for his job, he had found work after coming here & was doing well at it, he had taken on helping run the inn as needed, but he was looking to see what else was out their to be had. He knew he needed a place & all places that could be rented were owned by Mr. Gold a man many said not to get into it with yet when one need a place to stay & it was the only places left their was little option so he had to work to save up for a place & for now was just renting form Granny so he had a place to stay if even for a short time.

Lisa had just finished up at work. The bar closed hours earlier but she had had to stay after to do some cleaning and restocking, so she figured there was no point in trying to get any sleep before her next shift in just a few hours. So, she made her way to the shops in town to get a few things she knew she needed to get to restock important items in her apartment. She walked into a store just to take a look and as she reached up for an item on a top shelf, one of her bags slipped out of her hand and the contents spewed out all over the aisle of the store she had been in. "Man!" she said angrily as she knelt down to try to gather everything.

Jerethen happen to be passing a shop as he saw Liza picking things up, he stopped before heading in to give her a hand he could be a jerk, yet right now he saw no reason to be so he would do a good deed & help her pick things up, as he moved to kneel down to get things off the floor he spoke "Looks like you could use some help" Of course it was more a fact than a question for it was clear she needed help or could use it if she wanted it any how "Allow me to help you" If she stopped him he would, yet he did not see that happening after all few people would unless perhaps you where doing something you did not wish to be found out or that.

Lisa had barely got anything gathered when she heard a voice in front of her. She looked up from the items she was currently gathering and saw a man kneeling down in front of her offering to help her. She smiled. "Thank you, I would be incredibly grateful." she said as she continued to pick things up. It wasn't long before just about everything was back in the bag. She looked up at the man again. "Thanks again." she said with a flirtatious smile. "I'm sorry to give you a reason to help, I am just really clumsy. It's a talent at this point." she said with a chuckle.

He chuckled "It is alright, well we all have are gifts" He returned her smile "Did you need help caring these items some where or where you done shopping?" He was not sure what way & since he was not in a hurry he did not mind offering to help her out, for he knew that if it was him & he needed it he would enjoy the help that is if it was offered to him for help at times could be a blessing other times it was more not it was not needed just the timing was not the best at least for him. With that spoken he waited to see what she would say or if she would wish for any more help.

Lisa was surprised that not only did he help her pick up the items, but he offered to help her carry them home. "Would you mind?" she asked. "I've been shopping for a couple of hours and the bags are starting to get heavy." she said already grateful to the kind stranger.
"Guess that's what I get for waiting to go shopping to pick up necessities until the last minute when I need just about everything." she joked. She didn't want to impose on him too much though so she held out the 2 lighter bags. "If you're sure you don't have anywhere to be. I'll treat you to a meal or a beer? Whatever you want." she said with a smile.

He chuckled with her words "I do not mind" He chuckled with her words "It happens to all of use at some point, just wise not to try it around a holiday or big game" He took the lighter bags she offered "I am in not rush to get back & a meal or beer sound good ether is fine by me" He liked both or course he had to think of what would be more appealing yet he would leave that open if she wished to do one or the other. "Will you need help with making the meal?" He thought to make an offer to help her with the meal if she would need it, yet if she did not wish help he was alright with that. He waited for her to lead the way to where she wished him to fallow, to take the bags of food he had no idea where she lived she it would do little go for him to start walking with out knowing where he was going.

Lisa smiled. "I'll keep that in mind." she said about not waiting for last minute shopping on holidays or big game days. "That would be even more of a mess." she continued with a smile. She led the way out the door and towards her apartment.
"Ok, I'll treat you to both then." she said, it was the least she could do after all. "Shouldn't be a problem for me, I'm an alright cook." she joked with a smile as they made their way up to the door to her apartment building. "Besides, I am making the meal to thank you so it wouldn't be right to ask you to help me to cook it." she said as she used her key in the door and held it open for him.

He fallowed her out the door, allowing her to lead to where they where going "That would be nice" He chuckled with her words "I would think if you are still cooking you have to be some what a decent cook, me I am not bad just find at times it is more simple to go to the dinner for their is friends their & if not friends at least company, not that a party is not something I do at times just a bit different much like staying home alone to eat" He fallowed her into the apartment as she opened the door for him as he spoke "Where do you wish the bags to be placed?" With that he waited for her answer not sure where she would wish them, once he knew he could set them down & allow her to sort threw them & put them where the items need to go.

Lisa smiled when he siad that for him it was simpler to just go to dinner with friends, and not eat alone. "Yeah, a lot more fun that way as well." she said agreeing. "I don't really know many people around here, just the usual bar flies." she said. "So I don't get to eat with other people very often. It's very different from back home. I had a big family, a lot of uncles and cousins, Mostly men in my family though." she said. "But always someone to rough house with and plenty of company to eat meals with. So I do miss it." she said, feeling a bit sad and missing her family. Though she had no idea where they were or what they were doing anymore.
She pointed to the kitchen table when he asked where the bags should go. "Right there is fine. I can put everything away as I make dinner." she said. "Any requests?" she said as she set the bags in her hands on the table and went to the fridge to grab a couple of beers. She opened them up and handed him one before taking a drink of her own.

He heard her words "Do you get to see your family very often?" He was not sure if she did, he had not come across his, but it was fun to at least have friends it was like family. As she pointed to the table he nodded as he moved to set the bags on the table "Surprise me" He was not picky on what she made he was content with anything & it did help when he was not the one cooking so it would be nice of course having the company was a plus as well. He took the offered beer form her taking a drink, it was good of course it always ways "Cheers" He lightly lifted his can to her, it was a small thing yet he was just being friendly, he would take his time with the beer enjoying it as well what ever she made to eat.

Lisa smiled a sad smile. "Unfortunately no." she said about being able to see her family often. "We lost touch a while back and I have no idea where any of them are now." she said honestly. She really missed them. He raised her can to her and she tapped his with her can and took a drink before setting it back down on the table.
He did not have anything specific he wanted for dinner so she figured she couldn't go wrong with some homemade spaghetti. She started pulling out the ingredients. "Go ahead and sit down there, enjoy your beer." she said with a smile. As she did so she realized she had been a bit rude. "I am so sorry, I completely forgot to introduce myself." she said. "My name's Lisa, Lisa Culter." she said with a smile before getting back to it.
"You been living in this town awhile?" she asked curiously.

He heard her words "I am sorry to hear that I hope you find them" As she said to seat down he was about to do so as she spoke again he smiled "It is good to meet you Lisa, I am Jarethen King" With her last words he spoke "I have been here for some time, hard to think of how many years" Yet he had showed up in Storybrooke after the curse, yet did not remember it he had fallen to the curse over time due to a reason he did not know of or could place, yet now he was like everyone else he lived his day to day life much the same as everyone else yet he did not mind a bit of change when it came to making new friends & such things. He moved to take a seat, as he listened to see what she would say not sure what her answer would be.

Lisa smiled when Jarethen said he hoped she could find her family. "Thanks, me too. Though right now I'm just focused on paying my bills." she said. She worked over night and slept during the day so even if her family members were right in town she would be unlikely to run into them.
When Jarethen introduced himself she smiled, "Nice to meet you Jarethen." she said with a wink. She put the finishing touches to the food and placed everything on the table. "Help yourself." she said as she set a plate and some untensils in front of him and in front of her chair. "Now that you mention it, I'm not really sure how long I've been here either." she said trying to remember how long ago she had moved to town. She shrugged, "I guess it doesn't really matter though. We're here now after all." she said with a smile.

He smiled "Yes that is what most people wish to do, for it is not much fun to run behind if you owe rent to Mr. Gold" He watched her as she finished getting the food ready once it was with her words, he smiled to her as he moved to get some of the food as he listened to her "I suppose not unless you are wishing to leave the town anyway, but none have done that after all this place has something about it that just makes you want to stay & not leave" He moved to slowly eating the food enjoying it as well Lisa company, he took some drinks of his beet as he eat waiting to see what she would say "I will have to invited you over next & cook you a meal, it would only be fair"
