He heard her words "Most the time sketches, but I do paint at times" He smiled with her words "A teacher, that sounds like a very intresting job somthing that is sure to always keep you on your toes" When Ruby showed up at her words he spoke "No thank you, but it was very good" Of course he looked forward to trying somthing else later on at this place, they had his attechion for sure. Of course another thing now had his attechion as the door to the dinner opened a man with a cane in hand somthing you did not see alote now days & well he was well dressed, he had a feel about him of power & was also looking in thier directions & he felt a flicker of fear run threw him even if he did not know why.

Gold entered the dinner rose in hand, his eye where quick to scane for his wife when he saw her he did not miss the other male at the booth he felt himself felt like a wolf that had its hackles go up with the idea of a threat. Yet he did not kill the man on the spot giving him a few more moments to live he told himself, he appoched the table his eyes watching the two but, mostly on the man for he did not know who he was at least right now. Once he was close to the table he waited for Belle to look at him "I am sorry Belle for not being able to keep are date, I was hopping to make it up to you" He offered her the rose as he spoke If you will have it" Somthing he had said before yet he was hopping she would, for it would be a sign that things where alright between them "so who is your freind?" He tryed to ask nickly yet it might of come off he saw him as a threat, yet he could not tell as he felt his mind thinking on this man thinking on what his moteves where if he had them & he was sure he did.

Sketches, cute. Belle gave smile. He eyes had been focused on Ruby when the door of the dinner opened and in walked her husband. Belle blinked and her mouth twitched. Ruby looked at the door as well and then as Gold started across the room, she looked back at Belle once more before hurrying away and behind the counter.

"I am sorry Belle for not being able to keep our date, I was hopping to make it up to you" Robert held out a rose and Belle glanced at it for a moment before reaching out to take it. "Thank you." She said softly now. Belle brought the rose to her nose and inhaled. Knowing her husband as she did, Belle knew he was upset. She was trying to take whatever time she could to avoid him doing something rash.

"I've already finished lunch. Your too late." She told him now with a small smile. When he asked about Belle's lunch guest, Belle turned her head to look at Devon. "This is Devon." Belle said in introduction. "Devon, this is Mr. Gold."

She continued speaking to fill the quiet. Most people in here knew Robert's temper. They knew he was the Dark One and even if they did not know what all was going on, they knew Belle was sitting with another man. That was not good. The dinner was silent. "Devon's just arrived in town..."

For a moment he was not sure Belle would take the rose, was sure that upset with him or was he missing somthing he did not like to think on, somthing that he would kill one for. At her words of lunch & him being to late, it was almost like her slapping him in the face yet he did not say it. As she intruduced Devon he took his hand seeing it as away to get to him "It is good to meet you as well, let use hope it stays that way" He watched him, still figuering him out he could feel his temper growing as he saw nothing but, issues with the man. With his wifes last words "I am sure he is" Yet it helt a tone of a growl as if the man would have to be new for other wise he would not be seating where he was with his wife, ok it was not like she could not have lunch with another man it was just the feeling he got form the man. He did not miss that everyone appered to be waiting for somthing to happen & if the man did not leave it very well was headed that way. He stareed at Devon & it appered he got the message as he got up & left the booth to go pay, said his goodbyes before moving to pay for his food at the counter.

Devon smiled as she intruduced Mr. Gold "It is good to meet you Mr. Gold" He offered his hand ot the man yet the man watched the two as if not sure what to make of it, these two where dating he looked older than her so he was not sure how to take it. yet he did not miss the look the man was giving him, he moved to get up as he spoke "Belle I lookforward to seeing you around, but I think I should take my leave"

Belle watched her husband silently. She heard the growl in his voice as he agreed with her. Apparently so did Devon as he quickly excused himself. "Belle," He said to her and Belle looked up at him trying not to show any expression on her face. "I look forward to seeing you around, but I think I should take my leave" Belle nodded. "Of course." She replied.

After he had gone, Belle glanced at her husband before she stood and kissed him gently on the cheek. She then made her way to the counter to pay. Ruby shook her head however as Belle approached. "He paid." She told her. Belle blushed. "Oh..." She mussed. Belle turned back to her husband now to see what was to come. She did not know if he had to head back to the store or if he had other intentions.

Gold watched the man Devon leave, he did not miss Belles words he would have to be watchful of the man if he was an issue his focus was on Belle as she rose he felt her kiss to his cheek & could not help as he smiled lightly to her as she headed to the counter, when she came back he spoke "I was hopping we could do somthing together, I do have some time free if you still do" He was not sure if Belle did, yet he hopped she did he thought it would be good to have the time to speak with her & spend the time he did find free with her, at least if she did as well it appered that thier working was just set off right now to when they got to see each other enogh to do somthing.

"I was hopping we could do something together, I do have some time free if you still do" Her husband told her and Belle paused for a moment before and then slowly she smiled and nodded her head. She did want to spend time with him and it was nice that he finally had time for her. "What did you have in mind?" She asked now as she stopped up net to him. She took up her purse and then waited. Belle said nothing more. She would wait to see what his plans were.

With his wife's words he smiled softly knowing at least she was giving him a chance to make up for early, he thought on it "Perhaps we could go for a ride or a walk in the park?" It was two ideas he had, not sure how she would feel about ether at the moment even if she enjoyed it before he knew that he would still have to make up to her for his actions, even if he had good reasons. He waited for her answer, almost on bitted breath to hear what she wished to do & he was willing to give up opening the shop for the rest of the day, to help make things up to her.

Belle tilted her head slightly when he mention a ride or a walk. She did not understand if he was talking about a ride in a car or a ride on horseback. Either she supposed would be fine. Belle nodded softly. "Alright." She mussed. "Where were you thinking for the ride?" Belle turned once he had answered and then walked across the restaurant towards the door and then stepped outside into the sunshine. There were still many people on the sidewalks. Belle liked being out in town during the day. She enjoyed people watching. People could be amusing if they did not know that they were being watched.

He heard his wife's words as he walked with her he remembered how much he enjoyed walking with her, yet like her he keep an eye on people yet for diffrent reasons then his wife in some ways. "We could take the car over to the stables to get the horses & ride ether in the park or just around storybrooke" He did hope it would please his wife, for he always enjoy doing it & her smile, her laugh was well worth it as a price. He continued to walk with his wife, as he waited for her words her answer to his words.

Belle was not exactly dressed for horse back riding but she was not about to complain. It would be nice for him to actually have a few moments for her. "Of course." She told him when her husband mentioned driving to the stables. "I doubt riding around Storybrooke on horseback would be much appreciated but maybe a ride through the forest?" The park would be fine as well she supposed though Belle did not have the best experience the last time she rode there. But then again, she had been alone that time. She was looking forward to seeing her horse again. She had been occupied with other things lately. There were employees at the stable to take care of the horse but Belle missed it. She walked to the suv now and then when the door was unlocked, climbed into the passenger seat shutting the door behind her.

As he set out to drive the idea did come to mind if she might wish to put on pants or that to go ridding & with the idea of thinking maybe she wished to change clothing he spoke "I can stop by the house if you wish to change. I should also have some things at the shop you could wear if you wanted" He chuckled "If you wanted to ride threw Storybrooke go right a head, who would stop you?" He chuckled lightly as he spoke on "But, the forest would be a good place to ride it would be more open with less people"

Of course if she wanted he could also use magic to change her clothing, but he did not think she would go that way yet it was an opetion. "I could if you want change your clothing with magic" He drove slow with in the speed limite as he waited to see what she wished unless, she just wished to get to the stables. Where they could go ridding he looked forward to spending time with Belle, he knew still he had to make time up to her, it was not wish to spend time with her it was just at times he found that be detained else where he wanted to get somthing set up for her that in the end he had to disapoint her. Of course he did not enjoy such things, but at the time it was all he could do right now in the end he was sure she would enjoy the out come & understand why he did what he did.
