Will grinned as he walked around the forest. They'd just robbed another carriage heading for Nottingham. And they'd just finished disappearing all the money to the people of Nottingham. He was on his way back to camp as he walked through Sherwood Forest. He was still jealous and angry at his brother. Robin got to grow up with their father, rich and happy. While he and his mother had to struggle. Both of his parents were now dead and so was Robin's. Really Robin was his half-brother and the only family he had left. But he still hated that their father had gone back to Robin because he didn't like it. He sighed knowing this hatred wasn't healthy. Robin probably had no idea who he was and he often thought of telling him but it wouldn't work. And he'd started to respect the man a little which made it more hard to still hate him. He was feeling very conflicted on the matter as he kept walking. He turned hearing footsteps as he looked around.

"Who's there?" asked Will.

He pulled out his sword ready to defend himself if necessary.

Walking threw the forest the Piper was heading threw it, he was heading home to his son after he had deal that would allow them money to eat for quite some time he wanted to take his son with him yet he did not know if it would be time yet, he would be sure to ask him when he got home if he would want to go with him on his next outing, but he was glade to be heading home. He moved threw the forest when he heard some one as how was there he was not sure if they spoke to him, yet he looked around for who it might be when he saw Will he spoke to play it safe "I am called the Piper" He did not miss the made had a sword drawn a disadvantage to him when he did not have a sword, he would have to relay on his pipe if things would happen & go wrong.

Will paused lowering his sword at the man. The man didn't look like a threat or even appeared armed. Will sheathed his sword trying to to the friendly approach. The thought of him possibly being a spy crossed his mind but would they send a spy unarmed without even a sword? That was doubtful.

"Forgive me. I usually travel with a group and I was going to meet up with them. I didn't expect to run into someone here in the forest. I'm Will Scarlet by the way." said Will.

He smiled holding out his hand in an offer of friendship. He could always use more friends then enemies. And if he was a spy from the Sheriff or Prince John it was better to keep your enemies close as the old saying goes after all.

He heard his words "I am glade to meet you Will, I just go by Piper I suppose the name has just suck now" He watched Will "I am just heading home to my family, these was the main rode to the village, with any luck can be their with no time & I am sure you will find you friends" He meant it of course he was happy to be getting as soon as he could, he wanted to see his son he wanted to be home where he could see & spend time with his son.

Will smiled at him.

"Well Piper i'm glad meet you too. If you and your son ever need help I'm allied with Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Our home is here in Sherwood Forest. If you ever need help from me just leave a note in one of these trees. To be safe just call me Archer and I'll call you Piper. Just in case anyone else intercepts the notes no one will know how to track either of us." said Will.

He hoped the Piper never had to use it but he felt like he owed him one for drawing a sword on him.

"Good. Just be careful. Prince John is in the area and he heavily taxes everyone. My friends and I steal from people like him and give back to the poor people of Nottingham and neighboring villages who really need the money. It might be safer for you to take other routes. If Prince John or the Sheriff of Nottingham think you're allied with us he might try to arrest you. So be on your guard." said Will.

The Piper heard his words, he knew to some degree they could track him yet it was not so likly if he left the note for Archer "Let use hope that one would not know how to track ether of use" He did not miss his words "I will keep that in mind it was the shortist route, but I can see what other routes are around to take as well. For I do not need trouble" He had already dealt with it before, he did not want more of it & more so with having a son. "I will leave you so you can watch for the Sheriff & Prince John to do as you feel you must, I will move on with heading home to my family"

Will grinned at him.

"I doubt anyone would. But even if someone traces it to me they wouldn't trace it to you. After all your village isn't close to here so people would probably think I'm communicating with someone in Nottingham since it's closer." said Will.

He smiled at him.

"Aye. I suppose this route would be the shortest. Very well. Any time you want passage through the forest let me know and I will make sure you're not disturbed by Prince John or his lackeys. Going the longer routes would be safer but since you have a child I suppose the quickest way home would be a better idea." said Will.

Will smiled at him.

"Well I was just on my back but I'm in no hurry. I'm not really expected before nightfall. If you like we could chat while I make sure you're safe. I wouldn't feel right letting you walk alone where Prince John or someone else could mug you or try to arrest you." said Will.

He heard his word "I suppose they would not track it back to me, yet being a father I cannot help but, think on if it would happen" He chuckled "I have nothing of value to be taken, how ever if you wish to keep me company I would not mind it" It would be good for company the time would pass faster for him, it would also help him ease his mind form thinking on if he son was alright. Not that it was a bad idea, but he did not need to worry about it right now he would find his son safe & at home when he got their & he would do well to stay home more or take his son with him the next time.

Will nodded.

"Alright. If necessary we could think of different code names. like perhaps mr. green and mr. white or something. something generic no one could trace back to us." said Will.

Will smiled at him.

"Well I would feel better knowing I walked with you. Even just to ease my fears. I would feel awful if I left you and you were attacked." said Will.

He grinned as they kept going.

"I envy your boy. He has a father to go home to. My father had an affair with my mother but he went back to his wife and other son. And practically ignoired my existence. I've hated him and resented my half-brother ever since. And yet I'm now working for him out here. Kind of ironic isn't it." said Will.

He chuckled bitterly and sighed.

"I was lucky to have my mother but she got sick and passed away a few years ago. My father's dead as well. I never got to know him even though a part of me wishes I had. Don't let that happen to your boy. Let him know he's loved." said Will.

He listened to Wills words "The code names mr. green and mr. white should work well, but not sure if it would come off more that it is a code name & not ones real name" He chuckled "I do not think I would be attacked, a bit hard when one has no money but thank you all the same" He did stop when he heard Wills words on his half brother as he looked at him "You cannot blaim your brother for what happened & you should be lucky to have him, not everyone has family they can turn to or that" He watched Will "Does he know you are his brother?" It was more a thought he might not of said if he is holding anger aginst him. Walking again "I suppose all boys wish to know who thier father is, you could learn about him if you asked your brother. I promise you my son will know he is loved, I do nolt plan to leave unless I must & have desided to take work up closer to the village or in it if to insure I see him more. It might be less money, but I cannot make up for what I lose with my son" He looked at Will as if to see what he would say.

Will nodded.

"Good. I'm not sure if we need it either but better to be safe than sorry." said Will.

Will paused shaking his head.

"That won't matter. Thieves will attack you. And if they don't find it well depending on the thieves they might take your clothes, food, or whatever else you have. Or they might kill you. And I know Prince John's goons will definitely arrest you if they even think you're associated with me and my friends. He's not the rightful ruler of our kingdom. King Richard is but he left to fight a war putting Prince John in charge. I just hope he comes back soon. For all our sakes." said Will.

He sighed.

"I know I shouldn't. But it didn't change how I felt. My half-brother took my father from me. He never looked back. Never even visited." said Will.

He paused at the next question and shrugged.

"I don't know. I never met Robin Hood until I join his group. Even if he knows he has a brother he probably doesn't know it's me. Of course that's if my father told him about me at all." said Will.

Will paused at his words.

"I suppose. But I don't know if I could. All the anger and resentment and hurt I have is aimed at him right now. Perhaps one day we could talk. I just don't know if we'd ever be close." Said Will.

Will smiled as the Piper agreed he would make sure his son was loved.

"That's good. If you're ever in this area again and want to chat again leave me a message like I said. I don't know what I'm going to do about my brother or my feelings against him. But it did help to talk to you. So thanks." said Will.

He listened to his "I cannot say being with out clothes sounds like any fun & rightful ruler or not, i do not think anything can be done to get the rightful king back any faster & I have not heard any news to say he has been seen in some time"

Looking at Will he spoke "If your father never told your brother of you, as hard as it is you cannot hold it aginst him it is better to have a brother than not one. You have family, those to turn to in a time of need, when on your own it is not so simple. Besides if you say nothing now, what is to say somthiong does not happen to your brother? If that happens you will not get the chance to say how you feel or the chance to know what might of been & your welcome"

He was not sure if Will would take his advice, but that was up to him to decide on, he was not the one make the option he had his own life to live.

Will nodded.

"I know. Many fear King Richard may die in the war and Prince John will continue his tyranny. If that happens we may have to overthrow that king. The people have suffered enough." said Will.

He paused listening to him.

"My brother knew my father cheated on his mother with my mother. Robin doesn't know I'm his brother but he did know about the affair. And Robin got his way. My father went back to that family and never looked back. He never spoke to me or visited me. Not even on my birthdays. For so long I wanted my father to come back home and my mother said he wasn't. He chose his other family over us. I grew up without my father because of him. And you know what's the ironic part? I always wanted a brother and I have one. But I hate him. I guess my life is just very complicated." said Will.

He sighed.

"Sometimes I thought I should tell him but then what? He'll probably reject me just like my father. Maybe it's better he doesn't know." said Will.

He heard his words "I cannot say that I agree with Prince John, yet to challenge him could lead to many being killed or worse he could go after the loved ones of who ever is challenging him" It was not he was a coward yet he had to think of his son was it better to try not to be noticed & keep him safe of fight & take a chance of being killed or his son being harmed, perhaps there was a time to fight yet right now he had to think of his son & if things got bad on who he could leave his son with to be safe until he returned if he did return.

"But, even so I do not think your brother had any say in who your father picked that would of been your fathers choice & as bad as it was not not see you he might of said nothing to your brother of you being his brother, you must not hold your fathers crimes over your brother at least not with out knowing what his answer is. Perhaps in the end he wishes to have a brother, but has not idea he has one that is alive or that you are him, it is something to think on anyway" He looked at Will "I cannot tell you what to do, but perhaps you could speak to him on the idea of a brother on his thoughts with out you saying you are family & see how he takes the news or his thoughts, that could help you to know if you should tell him now or not"

Will nodded.

"I know. It's dangerous. But he's not our rightful king. He's more of a tyrant than a king. Although people haven't tried to overthrow him yet. Probably afraid of something going wrong. But I think it may only be a matter of time before we do." said Will.

Will paused at his words.

"I don't think Robin even knew about me. Still hurts my father chose them over us. He broke my mother's heart and mine. She never really recovered after that. I think I was the only thing keeping her going. I hated Robin and my father for doing this to us. And yet I missed my father at the same time. And now both my parents are gone. I hate him and yet it's hard to hate him. He's a good guy. It's just so frustrating." said Will.

He sighed.

"I'll keep what you said in mind. I don't know if I could tell him. Because now I could hate him in secret. But when word gets out I could say something, we could get into a fight. Or worse I could end up on my own. I don't like Robin very much but I do have friends in our band of thieves. Like Little John. I just don't know if I'm ready to put everything out there and risk what little I have left." said Will.
