Regina paused listening to them.

"Well it's not really a portal itself. It's magic water. It was part of an enchanted lake from our old world that restored what you lost and could heal injuries. That sort of thing. Rumple used it to bring magic to this town and it was used to bring a couple people back from our old world after they got sent there by accident. But the portal originated from that world. It just opened up here because of the enchanted water. I suppose it's the focus point of magic here. I have a feeling any magic we did would be its strongest by the well." said Regina.

She paused as he said the entity could use it.

"Well unless they have a way to open a portal to this specific town and this specific world then they couldn't really appear here." said Regina.

She paused knowing Cora & hook's ship appeared in the harbor of th town when they had come which made sense since it was a ship. She turned to Rumplestiltskin waiting for his answer. She paused hearing the doctor speak again as she turned back to him.

"Listen doctor i'm the mayor of this town and I have two children and a boyfriend. I have a life here. I'm not leaving. You have no real idea what this thing is or where to look for it. For all you know we could be walking into a trap or a place where he's stronger. At least here we have the advantage. We have numbers. Besides us there are others who can use magic. Emma Swan, Jerethen King, and Mother Superior. Eira Conlin and Jareth King also have magic but I haven't seen either lately. Oh wait. There is one other. That dark fairy you made once Lina Parker. She's human here. Perhaps we should restore her magic so she can help us as well." said Regina.

She paused at him.

"Wait you met someone over 200 years ago? I thought only Gold and the fairies were immortal. If this thing is from another realm then we do need to stop it. But going out there unprepared would be suicide and then everyone here would be easy prey." said Regina.
