Alyza was in the Theatre rehearsing a new song she had just written. One of her best friends, Kendra, was supposed to be stopping by so the two could go out for lunch. After Alyza sang a bit longer, she decided to gather her things and walk outside of the Theatre and wait for Kendra.

Kendra was running late because one of her teachers was taking what seemed like forever to hand back a few assignments that the class worked one. Luckily it was a half day for students so Kendra and Alyza made plans to have lunch together. They hadn't seen each other for awhile because Kendra was so busy with school and the swim team that she was on.
She finally made her way to the front of the theater and saw Alyza waiting for her. She smiled to her and gave her a little wave to say hello. She was happy to finally see her friend and she was happy to finally get to eat lunch. Her stomach was growling with hunger already, though she tried to ignore it until they would get to eat.

Alyza saw Kendra pull up in front of the Theatre. She waved back at Kendra and then she walked up to her and they started for a little stroll to their favorite restaurant. "Hi Kendra. How was school today?" Alyza asked when they were at a steady pace while walking.

Kendra was smiling as she was walking with Alyza. She hadn't seen her in so long, so she was finally happy to catch up with her. She always enjoyed their conversations and Alyza's company. She thought that Alyza was sweet and always a good friend to those she know, which always made Kendra happy because she knew she could count on her for anything.
She heard what Alyza asked and Kendra gave her a smile and nodded, which was suppose to say that she was enjoying school. She decided to ask Alyza about her singing and so she pointed to her own throat and pretending to sing, hoping that Alyza would understand. Sometimes Alyza did understand her, while other times she didn't but the two would laugh anyways because it was funny.
(( OOC: Kendra is mute due to her deal with Rumple, her voice for her feet. It transferred over to Storybrooke for obvious reasons.))

Alyza watched Kendra as she responded in her own unique little way. "It's going really well. My new song is somewhat coming along. I have to perform it at the concert hall next tuesday. But, other than that, everything is swell. Did you hear the good news? I'm engaged. To Jeremy, the blacksmith." Alyza said showing her friend the 25 diamond ring that Jeremy had gotten for her.

Kendra smiled as Alyza said that her songs were going good. It always made her happy to see Alyza happy. In the back of her mind Kendra kept a mental note to stop by the concert hall next Tuesday if she could so she could see Alyza perform. Usually she always tried to make it so she could support Alyza, after all she deserved it for all her hard work.
Her eyes then spotted the ring that Alyza had from her engagement to Jeremy. She looked at it for a moment and gave her another smile. She was really happy for Alyza and she knew that Jeremy was a good guy so she deserved him as much as he deserved her. She wasn't really shocked about the engagement, but she was still happy and excited.

Alyza was glad that she had Kendra as a friend. Kendra was Alyza's only supporter besides Jeremy. "And there's more! I want you to be my maid of honor!" Alyza said excitedly. She hoped that Kendra would take the position. She didn't know who else would be the maid of honor. But, Kendra and Alyza did everything together, so Alyza knew that Kendra would accept. Why wouldn't she?

Kendra was so shocked to hear that Alyza wanted her to be her Maid of Honor. She didn't know what to say, even if she could say anything! She gave Alyza a few exciting nods and a huge smile was on her face. She was seriously happy and honored that Alyza would pick her to help her with her big day. Ideas began to run across her head as she was already thinking of Wedding plans to help Alyza. She was so excited to help Alyza and she was ready to start whenever she wanted to.

Alyza loved Kendra's enthusiasm towards this subject. She always loved Kendra, for she was always smiling and she was always happy. "After lunch, do you want to come over? We could talk more about this... and Jeremy will be there." Alyza thought that it would be best to discus the wedding when Jeremy was around, instead of discluding him.

Kendra heard Alyza's question about wanting to go over her place after they had lunch. It seemed like a good idea so she nodded and gave Alyza a smile. Inside her mind, she was so excited to help Alyza plan her big day. She could already see how beautiful the church will be with decorations, and she could also see how beautiful Alyza would be once she picked out a dress. She figured that it would be one of the best days for the both of them.

Kendra gave a nodded and smile when Alyza asked if she had been good. Honestly, Kendra never had any complains so life was usually good. School work would sometimes get overwhelming to her but that was because of her classes.
After a minute of searching through her purse, Kendra took out a book to show Alyza. It was about the Greek Gods and Goddesses. She was using it for one of her projects that was assigned to her for her English class. She didn't mind reading it and she always found it fascinating, especially the Gods Poseidon and Aphrodite. They were just something that she could connect with and she loved reading about them.
