once upon a time in 1790's London lived 2 orphan boys named Peter and Rufio, both were forced into a life of crime by their cruel orphanage headmaster.
The city of London was festering with garbage, raw sewage and disease was rampant, cholera outbreaks were not uncommon
While Peter dreamed of joining the Royal Navy or the Army Rufio scoffed at the idea, after al King George was madman who literally howled at the moon. And had engaged in a wasteful war across the ocean against the British colonies in an unsuccessful attempt to end the drive for independence, giving rise instead to a new nation of peasants. Rufio admired the revolutionaries in the New World and dreamed of one day going to America and forge his own destiny as a free man.
Peter alternately scoffed at Rufio's idea to him and most people at the time it was an insignificant third world country run by farmers and peasants that would never amount to much, over a century latter they would be proven wrong.
One day Peter and Rufio had not being able to pick as much pockets as their headmaster wanted which was not surprising being the dead of winter not many people ventured outside.
But that did not matter to the burly drunk who slapped Peter hard and punched Rufio in the jaw making him stagger and fall. At that moment both heard a woman's voice scolding the man for his actions. they saw a pretty blond young woman in her 20's with a fiery look n her eyes moving fearlessly toward the brute.
The headmaster being drunk angrily staggered toward the petite young woman telling her to mind her own business as he was about to shove his finger into her shoulder, the young woman took the brute's arm and twisted it making him cry in agony.
Peter and Rufio could not believe their eyes. who was this petite blond woman who fought like an Amazon warrior? The woman told the brute that he were to release the boys to her care immediately and that if she ever caught him again hitting children and exploiting them she would break his arm and notify the authorities about his activities.
The man yelped that he agreed and the woman let him go, he staggered angrily as he walked away, the notion of being beaten by a woman shamed him to no end.
The woman smiled at the boys and told them to follow her and that they would never be hungry or abused ever again. Peter and Rufio followe her into an empty backstreet there she poured some strange dust on both of them and told them to think what made them the happiest and to follow her.
As both did they found themselves flying and the woman turned then into a winged fairy that called herself Tinkerbell. both asked whee they were going. Tinkerbell told thhem that they were going to Neverland and both followed her to the second star on the right straight until morning.
In Neverland both Boys as promised never knew more of hunger or abuse but both grew inevitably apart over time...
