Graham was on the run. He'd broke the bonds on his bed and pretended he was still tied down. Then he knocked out the nurse who came to feed him. He had then fled out of the room and searched the nurse's office. He'd found his old clothes there and put them on before getting out of the hospital. He was still the sheriff but wasn't sure who put him there. He had a hunch it was Regina. He stumbled through town making sure he wasn't followed and soon found himself at Emma and Mary Margaret's apartment. He knocked on the door hoping to find Emma there. She could help him figure out what was going on. Hopefully she wasn't too worried by his disappearance. He was unaware Regina had faked his death and the town had mourned for him. Or how much of a shock his return would be to Emma and anyone else who saw him.
