Mowgli/Mark Dragon

Mowgli grinned as he walked around. He was wearing a brown shirt and pants with some old shoes as well. He was still adjusting to being in clothes but knew he couldn't walk around like he did in the jungle. His father was off busy hunting and he'd slipped away from the village to have some fun. It was too far for him to return to his old jungle without being noticed so he thought he'd hang around outside the town and he'd found the caves. He thought he could have some fun although he had some friends to talk to. He missed Bagheera and Baloo and his old wolf pack. He hoped they were all doing okay in the jungle. He began walking towards the cave entrance when he heard a snapping sound as if someone had stepped on some sticks. He paused looking back nervously.

"Who's there?" asked Mowgli.

Rumpel had come from the village after a deal that of course went well for him & not the other person he was about to go home when he saw the boy leaving he was intreste in where he was going.

So he moved to follow him, of course as he did & they where close to the cave he saw the boy stop as he appoched his intreste getting to him, he heard the snap of the twig under his foot after that he heard Mowglis words e giggled as he moved form the shadows where he was. "I am not sure you want the answer to that question, but it is odd to see a child out here alone what would your parents say if somthing happened to you?"

Mowgli turned looking as the man stepped out. He looked at him a bit nervously. The man looked like a monster someone he should avoid. He looked more tough than Kaa and Shere Khan had been.

"I just wanted to get away to have some fun. I used to live in the jungle. i was raised by wolves. I don't know what happened to my real parents. But I got adopted by my new father. He's off hunting somewhere and I don't' really know anyone else in the village. I just wanted to get out and have some fun." said Mowgli.

He frowned at Rumple's words that his new father might be upset if something happen to him.

"You're right. But I don't want to go back yet. I've spent most of my life with animals. I like my new father. But I don't know if I can handle being near other kids. I don't want them to make fun of me." said Mowgli.

He had been lucky to find two families to take him in. First the wolf family. Then Bagheera and Baloo had helped him out while he tried to live in the jungle on his own. And then he'd met the Piper his new family. He didn't want to make his father worry. But there weren't any other animals out here. Even if there were some in the cave they'd probably attack him than want to help him. He sighed as he realized how much he missed the jungle and all his friends. He looked up at the stranger curious about him..

"You're not from the village. Not unless you're avoiding everyone like me. Or are you just passing through?" asked Mowgli.

He heard his words he watche him closely "Funny is all well in good, but still did you think to tell anyone where yu where going? After all what would happen if you got hurt, none would even know ehere to start looking for you" He of course hid not hiss his last words "I come & go where I am needed, but right now I am passing threw"

Mowgli looked at him and nodded.

"But the only person I know in town is my father is out hunting. Anyone I told would have just made me stay. Or not know who I was." said Mowgli.

He frowned at Rumplestiltskin's words.

"You're right. I wasn't thinking. But I don't want to back yet. I just want to have some fun. Is that wrong?" asked Mowgli.

He paused listening to him.

"Getting to come and go as you please and traveling the world. That's so cool. I've only been here and my jungle. But there's so much I haven't seen. You're so lucky mister to travel around like that." said Mowgli.

He heard his words "Perhaps but, you could of left note for your father that he was sure to find or told him you wanted to explore the day before hand" He giggled "Of course there is nothing wrong with wanting to have fun, but there is better ways to go about it. However I will not stop you form going off, it is not my place to do so" He mirked before he giggled again "It has its moments, of course cannot say that all I meet are happy to see me, but still you are right I get to see much of the lands"

Mowgli frowned and looked down embarrassed.

"I don't know how to write. And I thought he wouldn't let me go. I can take care of myself. I fought off a snake and a tiger in my jungle. I grew up with a wolf pack. My best friends were a black panther and a bear. But you're right. He would worry about me." said Mowgli.

He didnt' want to make his new father mad or worried about him. He sighed. He looked at Rumplestiltskin with a smile.

"I'm glad you see it that way. But you're right. Next time I'll find a way to tell my father. I do have plenty of time though. I'll just have to remember to get back before he does." said Mowgli.

He paused as he said he wouldn't stop him as it wasn't his place to do so. Then he grinned as he said it has hits moments and not everyone was happy to see him.

"People aren't happy to see you? Well then they're fools. I just met you and I think I'd be happy to see you again. You've helped me see I should be more careful. You're a good friend." said Mowgli.

He smiled walking up to him oblivious to who he really was and hugged him.

"Just remember there's one person out here who does like you. And don't be a stranger. I'd love to hear stories about your travels sometimes. If you're not too busy that is." said Mowgli.

He listened to his words take of gaurd to his actions of the hug, he stiffened & he was still unsure how to take it "I will see about thoe stories when my path leads me back here" How ever he was sure once the boy learned who he was he would avoide him like all others for he was the dark one not to be strusted & all that, what they where told as children.

Mowgli smiled at him.

'"Great. I look forward to it." said Mowgli.

He grinned stepping back and looked at the man. The guy walked like a human and yet looked more like an animal. It was odd. Perhaps he was some enchanted creature or someone under a curse.

"I hope to see you again mister. It was a lot of fun talking with you." said Mowgli.

He paused realizing he hadn't introduced himself and grinned.

"Sorry. I didn't introduce myself before. My father's trying to teach me manners and how to do more civilized things. I'm Mowgli." said Mowgli.

He grinned waiting for Rumplestiltskin to reply.

Rumpel listened to his words, he giggled with Mawgil words "I am sure you will see me again, not sure if when we do it will be as fun, but we will see" He listened to Mowgi words "And I am Rumpelstiltskin" He did not fear speaking his name, even if words had power over one none held more power then him so he did not mind, besides it also told the boy on who he more was & if he did not know, him his father was sure to if he said anything to his father anyway.

Mowgli grinned.

"I hope so. I think I've had the most fun just chatting with you. You're the first real friend I've made since I left the jungle." said Mowgli.

He paused hearing the name and grinned. Having grown up in the Jungle he had no idea about the Dark One or magic at all. So he was just a really cool stranger passing through the town.

"It's nice to meet you Rumplestiltskin." said Mowgli.

He walked forward and hugged the man. Perhaps if he'd known who he was things would be different. Although he hadn't been afraid of Kaa or Shere Khan and both were pretty deadly creatures in their own rights. He also had no idea he was hugging his adopted great grandfather. And Rumple didn't know the same either.

(ooc: You know what would be amusing if he had a vision of him and Mowgli perhaps later in fairy tale land or storybrooke at some point and made him feel like mowgli was important to him. Or would be. But he just wasn't sure why at the moment. xd)

As Rumpel spoke with the boy he felt something a flicker of a vision, came to his mind of them later on that he was important yet he was not sure how & the vision did not tell him, so he would have to see if he had another vision about the boy later on. Of course he heard his words, he giggled "I am not sure your father will be happy with are so called friend & not sure how much of friend when are" More because he knew his nature the boy was safe form him now for he was a child, but once he grew it could be very different. He stiffened with his hug & once he released him he was not sure how to take it still "I should be off Mowgli, I am sure are paths will cross again have fun on your exploring"

Mowgli paused as Rumplestiltskin seemed to space out. Then he seemed to snap out of it and laugh. Mowgli shrugged it off as he must have been thinking about something.

"Perhaps not. But you seem like a nice man to me. And my father did want me to make friends. If you wanted to harm me you could have done it anytime. Even now if you wanted. But you haven't. And that makes me trust you." said Mowgli.

He frowned when Rumplestiltskin said he should be off.

"Aww. Do you have to go?" asked Mowgli.

He sighed realizing Rumplestiltskin must be busy.

"Alright. But promise to visit again soon ok? I don't have that many friends and I can't visit my friends in the jungle much. But I'd like to see you again." said Mowgli.

He giggled more with his words "Nice" He watched the boy "Well we can see what you think later on, how ever for now I will be your friends or what could be class close to it, but you should still be carful on who you trust you never know if one is not a beast or a monster waiting for an opening" He was ready to leave feeling the draw of a deal with Mowgli words he looked at him "I must, but I primise to be back & I will vist as soon as I can" He watched Mowwgli "You will find other friends I have no fear of that Mowgli" With that he turned to walk off only stopping at one point to look at Mowgli once more as he spoke "Until we meet again Mowgli" And with that Rumpel started to walk off again heading off to wher ehe could leave.

"My opinion won't change. You're fun and really cool. I hope we'll be friends for a long time." said Mowgli.

Mowgli smiled as Rumplestiltskin said he'd come back soon.

"I look forward to your vist then." said Mowgli.

He paused as Rumplestiltskin said he might find more friends.

"I hope I will. And I hope they're as nice as you." said Mowgli.

He paused as Rumplestiltskin walked away saying until they met again.

"Until we meet again Rumplestiltskin." said Mowgli.

He paused looking at the cave and realized he was wrong to come out here alone. There was a good chance of him getting hurt or lost in there and his father worrying about him. And he didn't want that. So he walked back to the village waving goodbye to Rumplestiltskin as he did so.
