Things had changed Mr. Gold knew, it was more the supprise of it all & then learning to deal with it all, he did well of course to not show his full mind thinking for he was not sure how to take it, he was happy of course yet part of him feared what this would mean for him in the end, could it mean his down fall he was not sure how ever he was going to do his best to not jump to the idea that he could have any undoing. Of course Belle was however this was diffrent, this fact had been somthing that was not so easy to not think on doing somthing about, however he knew to do anything he thought right now would leave people hurt not that he would of normal cared but, it was his family that would be on the receving end of all this, so he had to think more on what it was he would have to do.

He of course was at his shop cleaning things as his mind wondered to such topics & others for that matter, he was always think of what would be & seeing gimps of what would happen where not so simple to take, for it did not show for sure on what events lead to it or if another even was taken if it could change it so the gift of sight was not as simple as others might think it would be or as great, he would just have to wait things out to see what actions was best to take.

Kathryn walked into the shop the bell ringing as she entered. She hadn't found anything on Regina yet but she had continued their friendship. She knew Regina was skeptical but she was at least wanted to try to be friends with her. She saw Rumple cleaning andshe wasn't sure if he noticed her arrival as he seemed to be thinking. She walked up to him.

"Good afternoon Mr. Gold. Did I come at a bad time? I can come back later if you wish." said Kathryn.

He heard the bell above his door ring, as he looked up he saw Kathryn he heard her words he smiled that was not quite a smile "No it is not a bad time, what can I do for you Kathryn" With that he waited to see what she would say to his words, since it could be any number of things & as he waited it would help him think of somthing other than Belle.

Kathryn nodded as she walked up to him.

"I came to speak with you. It's about the rutebega. said Kathryn.

She was speaking in code at the moment not sure if the place was under surveilance or not. Regina did have magic and she did have a magic mirror at one point.

"I've haven't found anything new about it. Would you have any hints where to look?" asked Kathryn.

Gold smirked with her words, she was quite smark not that is place was bugged it was one place besides his home that would never be for Regina could not out do him in such a way. He thought a moment before he spoke "You did not think to go to books to look for info on rutebegas. Some times the best places to look for things or for items are right in frount of you" He watched her "Of course it might not be that simple, but it is a place to start" What see what she would say, else she would say if anything or if his words would be enogh.

Kathryn paused and nodded.

"You're right. Although the problem is it's hard to look for rutebegas when I'm not alone." said Kathryn.

Anytime she was in the house Regina was there. She was feeling ridiculous talking about rutebegas as she looked at him.

"Do you know if it's safe to talk here?" asked Kathryn.

If it wasn't he would certainly know of a place where Regina couldn't spy on them. Knowing he was the Dark One in the old world she wasn't sure how powerful he was here and she didn't want to take a chance and have the plan spoiled.

He heard Kathryns words he smiled "I cannot say it is easy to look for such things when not alone, since people keep one side tracked" His smile grew at her second question as if she thought Regina would be able to do anything to him "It is safe, why did you think that Regina would be more powerful than me?" He did not care really, he still knew even if he did not have his power, keeping the mirrors covered would see to it that Regina could not spy on him so he knew how to keep her in her place.

Kathryn nodded.

"I'll keep looking." said Kathryn.

She blushed embarrassed as he said it was safe. She shook her head.

"No. I know you're stronger than her. I just wasn't sure if she found a way to use a magic mirror or spy on you." said Kathryn.

She paused as she spoke again.

"If only I had time to search her home alone. But she's been seeing a man now and I think her children are staying with her now. The house is rarely empty now. Perhaps I should wait for the next town event for a thorough search." said Kathryn.

There was always at least one event a month so it wouldn't be long. And with Regina as mayor of course she'd show up. She paused turning to Rumplestiltskin.

"Would you know of a way inside? Like a skeleton key perhaps? That way I could search and she wouldn't know I was there." said Kathryn.

He heard her words "Even if she did, I have my own ways to keep her form doing so" Yet he did take more ways to keep her form doing so with not only magic being around but, this new tecnolegy. He did not miss her words, but he did not see Regina even not having a man around for that to happen well, she would have to be great upset with all men in town or those she would seek out. "I do not think Regina is ever with out a man, however for you not to be at the town meeting you would need a reason, unless you think you would just show up later on" Gold moved to turn to take out a box before turning to set it on the counter as he opened it up to take out a key that wasa skeleton key & would fit Reginas home he took the key before holding it out to Kathryn "This key will fit Regina's home, just bring it back when you are done"

Kathryn nodded.

"I'm sure you do. I should know by now not to understimate you." said Kathryn.

She smiled knowing there was very little he couldn't do. Even in this world. And Regina was nothing compared to his power.

"Mr. Gold when the curse hit you and Regina both were powerless. Is there a way to do something similar to her? Strip her of her magic? Then she wouldn't be a threat to you or the rest of us." said Kathryn.

Granted she felt Regina and Gold kept each other in check but with Emma here she might be able to stop Gold if he tried anything. Regina and Gold's feud could end up with someone getting hurt. She grinned.

"You're right. I could say I wasn't feeling well and that's why I was late. I think most people would buy that. And if I'm successful Regina wouldn't know I took anything until it was too late." said Kathryn.

Kathryn paused as Gold offered her a skeleton key. She nodded.

"I'll bring it back. But nothing with you is free. Do you require something for this key?" asked Kathryn.

He heard Kathryn's words "Why I am glade someone has learned that, even if it has taken this long" He thought on it "I am sure it could be done, yet it would not be a simple thing & I am surprised that it would be asked of me since well, I am a very hated man & more so than Regina by many" He did not miss her last words "No it does not, but I have nothing to ask of you right now however I will not ask anything that would be like murder or that. But, if you come across it in Regina's home there is a book on magic in her home it has my name on it, that should be the marker of the book I would want if you can find it, if not we can work something else out"

Kathryn paused at his words.

'Yes. You are the Dark One. But even in the old world you kept to yourself. You didn't hurt anyone unless they tried to hurt you or doublecross you. In a way you had a sense of honor I suppose. While Regina doesn't care who she hurts to get her way." said Kathryn.

She paused as he said there might be a way for it to be done.

"If there is a way then I guess we'll find it eventually. For now I'll keep searching." said Kathryn.

She paused as he said he has nothing to ask for her right now. But if she came across a magical book to give it to him if she sound it.

"I will. And if I don't then I suppose you'll think of something else later." said Kathryn.

She smiled relieved he wouldn't as kher eto murder anyone as she didn't want to do that.

"Thank you. I will do my best to find out something." said Kathryn.

She was right in many ways, but at times he did hurt people just becouse he found reason to & to be honest it was not likly they did anything other than to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but it was rare. He was one that if left be & not crossed was easy to get along with, not that he was going to say that so openly

"Beasts do not have honor, even if you think one such as my self does" He nodded with her words on Regina "I am sure it will be, it will just be the question on the price that will be payed to do it" He did not mean it as he would be doing it, but to take one down like Regina someone was likly to die if not more than one.

He nodded with her last words "I always do, but you have keep your deals with me so I see no issues between use & I know you will do your best" With that he waited to see if she had anything more to say or if they where done at least for now.

Kathryn paused as he spoke.

"I suppose you have your own sense of honor. All you do is offer deals and it's only if someone tries to back out of the deal or doublecrosses you do you get mad. Or is a threat to you like Regina. I'm sure the two of you have been at odds even before we came here." said Kathryn.

She listened as he spoke saying the price of taking away her magic as she knew as Rumplestiltskin said all magic comes with a price.

"What kind of price would it be? Getting rid of a dark sorceress like her would help everyone. Wouldn't it?" said Kathryn.

She paused as she said he did honor her deals with him.

"You helped guide me on the path to free Frederick from being trapped as gold. It took longer than I expected but you still helped me. And you've helped keep Frederick and me safe from Regina's magic. Helping you and honoring my deals with you is the least I could do." said Kathryn.

He heard Kathryns words "I suppose" Was as close to saying she was right, just not so openly "To be ride of one like Regina, it would likly cost someones there life but, not fully sure & one must remember that evil is not born it is created & it could cause someone else to fall into her foot steeps" He heard her words "You mearly keep your deal with me"
