Frowning her coat over her shoulders Eira leaned against the railing of the bridge looking out with blank eyes, she remembered this, she both hated and loved this place. It seemed curious, that she would meet and spend her happiest moment with her husband here, and the body of her son and the stupid girl would be found here after they killed themselves?
She had no doubt that the girl was responsible for that, Kale had known the meaning of this bridge that girl may have twisted his poor ill mind but he would never have been so cruel by choice. Letting out a long suffering sigh she closed her eyes leaning her forehead on her arms, she had offered Mr. Gold such awful threats, she felt a little sickened by herself, how could she do that to someone after what she had lost how could she put someone elses through that knowing how limited time could be?
She had been so angry, she wanted a child... No that was a lie she wanted Kale she wanted her son! tears welled even as she sank to the ground thankful that the bridge wasn't used all that much, taking a shuddering breath her hand passed through her hair disrupting the carefully combed locks as tears trailed cold lines down her face, why did she keep coming here? She wanted so despratly to remember the good of both her husband and her son, but more often then not all she saw was her husband in that hospital bed his hand growing lax in her until he was gone. Her son his cold pale face being covered by the Ambulance sheet even as she screamed and cried and begged them to keep trying to resuscitate him.

Alex walked over to the bridge, and saw someone she hadn't quite seen around Storybrooke before. She walked over to the girl and introduced herself. "Hello, there. I'm Alex. Have I seen you somewhere before?" She asked in confusion and suspicious curiosity.

Eira shifted looking up and frowning a... little girl? "What are you doing out here hmm? it's cold you should be at home with your mother." she said shifting rubbing at one eye with her thumb to banish the tears "Alex hmm? That's a pretty name." she said with a soft smile "I'm sure you have at some point, My Name is Eira, I own the Jewelry shop." she said softly shifting to stand and look around shouldn't her parents be around somewhere? she shouldn't be out here alone, at least, not in Eira's opinion.

Alex frowned a bit. She wished she had a mother to look after her. Even a father would be nice. "it's not cold out. And I don't have a mother..." She said nearly crying. "I have been to your shop before. A long time ago..."

eira smiled shifting pulling off her coat "So like a child to say soemthing like that, it's cold dear." she said settling the fine wool coat around the girls shoulders it was beautiful and elegant a cream color wool the softest highest quality the lining a matching cream colored silk with beautiful pearl buttons. it carried the light adult smell of a sophisticated woman and was still warm from Eira's body heat.
"You don't? That's awful." she said softly gently placing a hand on the girls head "Every little girl should have a mother... Mmm, well Your welcome to visit any time if you like, Tell me where are you staying now, I'll take you home." she offered gently.

Alex bit her lip. She wanted to tell her about her father as well, but she didnt know she would take it. "No, that's fine. I can walk on my own. Thank you, though. Umm, can I tell you something?"

Eira smiled "Hm well can I walk with you then? I'm going this way." she said softly she didn't want to leave the little girl alone she knew how dangerous it could be at her question Eira blinked before nodding "If you want to you can tell me." she said gently. She felt soft happy again this was what it was like offering age and comfort and wisdom to a child, this was what she missed most those big trusting eyes that kind of unconditional love a child offered, the love a child took with glee and accepted happily

eira stopped looking at her shocked "O-Oh dear, you poor thing." she said softly moving crousching infront of her brushing hair gently from her face "Your out here all alone, not just on this bridge but in the world on your own? I'm so sorry." she said softly eyes watching the girls face, such a horrible circumstance to befal such a young girl to be all alone it was terrible
"Here why don't we go to the sweet shoppe first hmm? My treat, You shuld have soemthing nice." she said softly shifting "Your a very strong little girl aren't you coming out here, being able to say all of that, not a lot of people can say those sorts of things." she said gently.

Alex smiled. She hadn't had a sweet treat in a long time. Well, really, she hadn't had one since she was 6 years old. That was 7 years ago. This lady, Eira, was really nice and all, but was a sweet treat really worth it? What could go wrong? Alex thought to herself. "Sure. I'd love that." Maybe, just maybe, Eira knew Alex's father. There really was no harm in asking her. "Eira, do you know a man named Michael Stableer? He co-owned the Horse Stables alongside with David Nolan." What if she did know Alex's father? Surely she'd then recognize Alexline. Everyone who knew Alexline's dad knew her. She was the little brunette equestrian who strode around the stables everyday. She was loved throughout the town. And this was the first time ever that she had met Eira.

Eira smiled when the girl agreed gently brushing at her hair, "all right I'll get you anything you like, but I think you should have a hot chocolate first it's cold you should have soemthing to warm you up." she encouraged with smile before moving to stand pausing when the girl asked her question looking over and shaking her head "No I'm sorry I don't My own home has a Stable it's self for my horses so I haven't used the one in town, I apologize.' she said gently.
"Is that your father?" she asked the girl gently when something occurred to her her father passed away and she had no mother to speak of where was the girl staying? Eira hoped she wasn't out here because her situation was bad a little girl who lost her parents needed a good and stable home!

Alex liked the idea of a hot chocolate, although she wasn't at all cold or chilly. She loved hot chocolate, but she didn't quite remember what it had tasted like since she hadn't one since she was very little. Then, Eira had told Alex something else. "No I'm sorry I don't My own home has a Stable it's self for my horses so I haven't used the one in town, I apologize. Is that your father?" Alex nodded when Eira asked if Michael Stableer was her father. "Yes. He was my daddy." She sniffled as if crying. She was crying. "I miss him so much. When he died, I didn't tell anyone. Not even the mayor. I buried him in the back yard underneath his favorite apple tree. He loved that tree. He cared for it as if it were his second child. But, ever since he died, I have been using my landscape skills to deAlexte a little and make the yard comfortable for him so that he can rest in peace." Alex was really crying now. So many tears had run away from her eyes, down her cheeks, and to the hollow ground. Alex was now waling alongside Eira on the path through the woods to the rest of the town. Now, they were walking to the Sweet Shoppe that turned out to be right down the road from Alex's Art Gallery.
