Abi went to her room and sat on her bed. She was tired and she was still confused and now she was mad at herself as well. She sat there for a long moment unmoving. Abi was afraid of the slightest little sounds in the house. If a door closed or opened or there were footsteps or even the slightest creak. After a long period of time had passed, Abi stood once more and then went to find Gold. "Why did you spend all that money on me?" She asked once she had come across him. Abi stepped up closer behind him. She really wanted to know what he had been thinking.

Gold had finished with a soup, a little be again though to work on some corn bread encase Abi would want it. He heard her as she approached, though it was odd for he did not at times, with her question he moved to look at her "It was just money, I can always get more of it, but there is only one of you" He was not sure how that would sound or if she would think she owed him now, not that she did, but he felt well at a lose he did not want to treat her different, but with out knowing what all she went threw his mind could think of many things & none to great even if it was mealy being tied up. "Take a seat, so you can eat"

"It was just money," He told her a he turned to look at her. "I can always get more of it, but there is only one of you" Abi did not know what to say to that. She just looked down at the ground for a moment. "Take a seat, so you can eat" He told her and she looked at the kitchen table before moving to sit at it.
"I'm sorry I was the cause of you spending it though." She did feel like she owed they money to him. If not for her own actions, he would not have needed to spend it. "I'll do what I can to make up for it." It was a lot of money. More than most people ever saw. She still felt to blame for all of this.

"I do not expected you to pay me back & that could of happened with out you around as well" At least if they got, the right item to tempted him with they could have, though one would have to know what items held enough value for him to be willing to pay such money. He looked at Abi, waiting for her to seat before getting her some soup & corn bread to eat. Why she was eating he could apply the medicine that would help her cut to heal, though before she turned in it could be wise for it to ether be wrapped or Abi, might need to wear something to cover to just to keep the wound form losing what was placed on it.

"I do not expected you to pay me back & that could of happened with out you around as well" He told her and Abi said nothing. Of course he didn't...he never did. When he put the food in front of her. Abi looked up at him and she gave a small smile before saying "Thank you." In a soft voice.
The food smelled wonderful and she picked up the spoon and dipped it it into the soup. The flavor was delicious and Abi as hungry. She ate quickly. When he stepped behind her, Abi paused almost like a startled animal and glanced at him. She as still nervous. She eyed the medicine in his hand and then turned her back to him so that he could do what was needed. She tried to focus on the food and not what she would soon be feeling.

Gold heard her words, he just nodded before he moved around her though, at seeing her reason he stilled wanting her to take note it was him & what he was doing. Once it appeared she had, he moved to place the medicine to the cut, he knew it would sting though it would clean it & keep it form infection, though he decided it was best not to tell Abi that, since it would not help to of told her. He hoped to get her, when she did not have any soup in her mouth, though he also hopped that with her earring she was not so focused on him.

She felt him step up closer to him and before long there was a sting on the back of her head. Abi groaned softly and she let go of the spoon and gripped the edge of the table. Whatever he was using felt like alcohol. She tried to sit still and be mature about this. Abi knew that it would help her in the long run. She sat there and tried to think of more pleasant things and before she knew it, the pain was fading. It was still sore but not nearly as bad.

Once he was done he steeped away form Abi, before moving around her & setting the medication on the counter, he decided it would be best to join her so he got himself a cup of soup before doing that. "How is the soup & there is more if you want it" He was not sure the last time she ate or how much she wanted, but there was extra encase she wanted more.

Abi looked up as he moved to get himself food. She kept her eyes on him as he sat and then when he spoke, Abi gave a soft smile. She looked down at her bowl to find that all of her soup was done. She shook her head slightly. "I've had enough." She told him softly. It was so hard to even sit here after all that had happened but she did not know how to tell him. Not even how to start. Abi just watched him silently.

Gold heard her words, he knew for now he would have to give her time, it was clear she was not her full self & he had to accepted it would take time for her to lose her fear & jumping at every sound, though there also was a chance, that even with time she would never be who she was before, though that was the thing time, is what would be the factor something that could not be changed & when things happened one had to just move on. He nodded at her words "Alright, you are welcome to do what ever you want, there is some movies or TV you can watch or even a selection of books if you would want to do that instead" But, to him it mattered little what she did so long as she felt relaxed why doing it, finishing his soup he moved to clean up, before putting things away.

To be honest, she felt weak and really just wanted to rest. She remained where she was as he finished eating and then when he started to clean, she said nothing but stood and moved to take the dishes and wash them. She kept her head down.
When they were all washed, Abi turned to look a Gold and she leaned back against the counter. "I'm going to head to bed." She told him. "Thank you for saving me and for understanding." Abi stepped towards him and put her arms around him in a hug. Abi then left the room and headed up to her bedroom.

Gold heard her words, he nodded what more could he say really, at the point if she wanted to talk later she would, other then that he could not press her to answer or anything like that. He lightly returned her hug, before watching her leave, for the her bedroom, Gold had moved into the den, just to think. Though, it was hard to think on what he needed, without going back to Abi, so he shortly after he headed to bed himself.
