Rumple felt her release him, well at least he could move with out the aid of magic. He heard her words, as he saw her look away form him before she spoke on, it was to clear that she had come to full teams on what was happening & he felt a sting, he knew he should of felt nothing, yet he could not say he did not, even if it was a flicker for a moment that he had felt normal once again, of course he was not, at least any more, it felt like she had threw cold water on him, he drew away form her as he spoke "No, matter" He had steeped back to give her space "I knew to well it had to end at some point" He did well to keep from showing emotion, for if he did it would break him right now & he had to think of this event as nothing more then, what it was a deal coming to an end no, more & no less.

Belle did not looked at him now as he moved off of her and stood. "No, matter" He told he and Belle said nothing. "I knew to well it had to end at some point" She knew that he was hurt by this. He covered it well but Belle had felt the connection with him. She felt tears forming in her eyes and tried to blink them away. "I..." She started but she could not finish. Belle was sorry. She didn't want to push him away. She did like the way he was with her. But it was better this way. Safer. She could not be with him. She had already been given to Gaston. It would take a lot for her father to accept her. "I'm sorry." She said again. "It's better this way." She moved for the door. "Please enjoy the party."

Rumple listened to her words, he saw her tears yet he did not move to touch her knowing it was not a good thing to do, for it would be a bad thing on both there parts. He heard her last words & he nodded with them "Of course" He saw her move for the door, at her last words he simple spoke back "You as well" Though he could not say he would stay long after she left, he had little reason to say.

Belle glanced at him once more at his final words. She paused and then turned back to him. Belle walked back to the man and without a word, she kissed him once more. A slow and lingering kiss before she broke it. Without speaking or giving him a chance to do it either, Belle left the room. She started to head back to the party but by this time, the tears were falling. She turned and retired to her bedroom instead.

Rumple had not moved, so he was surprised when Belle came back to kiss him, how ever he did not get the chance to reacted really as she broke it, before leaving. Of course once she was gone he left as well, though he knew he should not of grown attached to Belle in any way he had & so with his anger flickering for his weakness & perhaps the pain he knew because he would lose her he left as well, paying not head as he left.
