Rumple had received the summons for the queen that was said to be evil, perhaps more so then himself, how ever he would answer the summons after all it was always good to know what he could be up against. It was clear that news of him being the dark one, had spread & him taking a castle only rose those whispers, those that he ruled over feared him, even if he did nothing to them, other then make deals.

He appeared at the queens castle, in a puff of purple smoke he was quickly flanked by some guards as they showed him to where the queen was, though he did not worry about the guards they could be dealt with if need be quite easily.

Rumple was dressed in his leather pants, vest & coat, it only added to give him more the menacing look, of one that could bring trouble at there will. Normally he would of just appeared in her castle, though he was smart he knew the best way to learn of her skills was to, hold back on his own unless need be.

Regina watched through the Magic Mirror as Rumple was escorted into the castle. She turned around as Rumple was escorted into the room and the mirror left its task complete. She motioned for the guards to leave and they did. She smiled at him with a dark smile that would have unnerved ordinary people but she knew the two of them were far from ordinary.

"I'm glad you accepted my invitation. I've heard of you. Rumplestiltskin. The Dark One. People say you're the most powerful being in all the kingdoms. But any sorcerer can kill a few people and gain a reputation. I also heard you make deals for things, freedom, even swapping babies. You're certainly very busy. I wonder if you're really as powerful as you claim. Or if it's all smoke and mirrors." said Regina.

Rumple saw Regina when she was at the mirror before she had the guards leave, Rumple was watchful not knowing what she was up to & he was now a man with power that learned to use it well, not like the coward he was before or so made him out to be. With her words Rumple smirked, he could be all those at one point or another, he giggled when she finished, one thing he was for sure was not one you should cross for things happened.

He was still sure that he invitation was more then that, even if she did not say it he knew it, she might not say it, but the fact did not change. "Tell me your majestic, how much of the tumors of you are true & not?" It mattered little how much was, for he knew he was better or at least the magic he wheeled was better, for one thing about him you never could figure him fully out, something that was his straight when dealing with people.

Regina watched him and he seemed amused by her questions. He then asked her about the rumors about her were true.

"Yes. I'm a witch. Just as powerful as my mother was. No. I know I'm stronger than her." said Regina.

She hated her mother for treating her horribly most of her life. Killing Daniel and forcing her to marry King Leopold had been the last straw. Luckily she'd gained magic of her own and no one would force or trick her into doing anything ever again.

"Is it true you've stopped The First Ogre Wars? You look good for a man over 70 years old." said Regina.

She wanted to know how much she'd heard about him was true. If he'd been around that long he had to be powerful. But there were stories of the Dark One even before the Ogre War going past hundreds of years. He couldn't be that old but then again with magic nearly everything was possible.

Rumple heard her words he said nothing, though with her words of if he stopped the first orge war he giggle light as he moved watching Regina, of course he made not move closer to her why press her into thinking he wanted to fight, not this was more for the theatrical approach to make i know that he was the most powerful for a reason, he turned his back to her a moment before he looked at her with a flick of his wrist he spoke "I did" He just smirked with her words to his age, he would not confirm he was older or younger then that for there was no reason to.

He watched her closely, he was sure she would not be happy if she though him more powerful for most people with power did not like the idea of someone else being more so & that went more when that person was against you. For the time she showed no sign she was her to fight, learn if he held power true, but then there was no say that she was not the kind that would wait to strike ether.

"Impressive. I'm surprised there was a second one. And I hear a third one is about to start soon. For strong creatures they certainly don't have the intelligence. Or they'd know better than to start three wars." said Regina.

She watched him intrigued by him. He remained silent aside from admitting he stopped it. He was a mystery to her. Aside from his reputation not much was known about him. And she doubted if had weakness anyone who found them out probably didn't live to share the tale. It was hard to tell what was rumors and what was facts about him. Not even her Magic Mirror could tell her much about him.

"Well you're certainly old and by that logic you've been practicing for many years I take it. Well time to see how strong you really are." said Regina.

She waved her hand as the fire from her fireplace flew out and flew towards Rumple. She decided the only way to truly know about his powers was to test them.

Rumple said nothing for it mattered little to him if the war started again, all it meant was his gain form people true his heart was more pained to the harm of children, but so far that had not happened again & his son was gone. With her last words he was instantly on guard he was not sure what she had planed, but he did not have to wait to find out as she sent the fire from her fireplace at him, he smirked before he moved to use his magic to snuff out not mealy the fire, but its source in the fireplace. "Dearie, may are dead for less" If she wanted to duel with fire so be it, he worked his magic to change an item close to her into a dragon, of course this was all done together the defending & attacking, she might stop the dragon or she might not, ether way it was sure to give her something else to deal with, though he had to remember she had guards even if they would not be an issue.

Regina watched as he doused the flames and then turned a chair nearby her into a dragon. Thankfully it wasn't too big to crash through the ceiling but it was still a problem. She frowned waving her hand and blew ice from her mouth turning the dragon into ice. She then waved her hand as a sword flew off the wall and smashed through the ice shattering it into pieces.

"Well you certainly are a powerful man. Not many can turn an object into creatures." said Regina.

She then conjured a lightning bolt and threw it at him to see if he could withstand that. She doubted it would reach him and he'd get rid of it like the fire.

Rumple watched Regina,making sure not to leave himself fully open to her his eyes had narrowed as he watched her ready for what ever she did or as ready as he could be, he heard her words & giggled "I am not a man dearie" Any more he was not he was more beast of darkness then the man he once was or even a man. As she threw the lightning bolt at him he smirked, he did let it reach him though when it would hit he parted it allowing it to scorch the ground around him, yet leave him unharmed, before the lighting bolt was gone fully he flicked it back at Regina, did she really think her better then him? None where, not now any way & none ever would hold as much power as him, his straight & curse. He was growing tired of her actions, so as the lighting bolt was sent back at her he was quick to vanish only to appear behind her, sword in hand, the sword she used to kill the dragon with he moved it quickly to rested at her neck, it would be his warring to her of the grounds she crossed if she did not stop him. If she tried again he would have to resort to more harmful methods. "If you try again dearie, I will make you very sorry"

Regina frowned as he parted the lightning bolt and flicked it back at her. She ducked as it hit the wall behind her. She scowled only to realize Rumple was gone. Had he gotten bored and left? Suddenly he was next to her with a sword aimed at her neck. He was certainly very fast and perhaps more powerful than she realized. She had to be careful as she was still fairly new to her powers compared to him. She knew the rumors were true now that he was the Dark One. No normal human could be that fast even with magic. She waved her hand causing the sword to disappear as she then vanished as well. She reappeared a few feet away and turned around and smiled at him.

"Enough of the games. I knew my magic couldn't kill you. You're the Dark One. You've pretty much proved it. Not even I have the power to kill you and I don't want to. You're not a threat to me. If you wanted me dead you'd have killed me already. You were just toying with me weren't you." said Regina.

She hated to admit when she's wrong and that he was more powerful than her. Right now they could be friends or just stay out of each other's way. But if he crossed her she would need to find a way to get rid of him or at least of his powers. No one would stand in her way of getting her revenge on Snow White for Daniel's death.

Rumple felt the sword vanish form his grip, as Regina vanished he was alert to where she was or keep open for when she showed again, encase she made the move to attack again. When she appeared, he was ready to strike like a cobra his magic ripped with the thought with, the want to attack, as if feeling it could come, he almost struck before Regina's words & if she had not he would have, finishing this so called game purportedly. At her words though he held off, not allowing the magic to die not that it would, but he allowed her to breath on for now he giggled as he looked at Regina "Oh.. I would think your actions spoke other wise & you will learn just how much a threat I can be, if you ever try to best me again" It was a promise, he did not fear killing her or anyone else, his son was gone so he had nothing to lose any more, for what he had was already gone at least that he cared about. "I was" For now he would not kill her, but he like her would remember today & he only hopped she learned will to not try him again, something few ever got the second chance to use or make better judgment on.

Regina frowned as he threatened her. She knew he had the power to back up his claims. And right now she was the weak one. She had to get stronger or find a way to eliminate him or his powers. Right now they could be allies but she didn't need him as an enemy. Not when she wasn't prepared to stop him. She frowned as he revealed he confirmed her suspicions he was just toying with her.

"It would be foolish for me to go up against you. And I don't plan on dying not after everything I've been through. I doubt we'll ever become friends but how about a truce? I won't get in your way and you don't get in mine." said Regina.

Rumple heard Regina's words he thought about it before he spoke "A truce? A bit hard to be asking me to stay out of your way your majesty, when you are in no position to do so" The only way he would come to some so called truce is if it suited him, that was mealy how he worked "If you want a truce with me it will cost you, dearie" He would if she agreed he would of course spin the deal in his favor, yet it would still give her freedom to do much as she already did with no need to worry from him.

Regina hid her disdain. It was no point in being angry. Not when he had more power than her at the moment. He then seemed to agree to it although saying it would cost her.

"What could you possibly want from me? I hear you can make your own gold so you obviusly don't want anything from my treasury." said Regina.

She knew she had to phrase her words carefully when making a deal with him. If the rumors about him were true she didn't want to end up selling her soul to him or being in debt to him in some way. She had been forced to do what her mother wanted most of her life and now she was free of her. She would not go back to working for someone else again.

Rumple could feel in the air that she wanted to say something, though she did not at her words he smirked allowing it to grow before he spoke "As for what I want, lets say you ow me a favor later on your majesty?" Of course she could always say no or something else could happen, but he was sure in some ways she would want this truce more then he did, so now he waited smirk on his face to see what she would say or if she would agree.
