A Test & Lie That Could Shatter a Marriage

Gold was still ticked & angered beyond words, that was saying something for the man he should of killed the doctor that gave him that test resulted, he knew the moment he heard the answer it was wrong, not that it helped all the same. He could say it was faked, all he wanted it did not mean that Abi would believe him, he saw his world falling apart the one he carried for & he was unsure how to fix it other then, his anger that grabbed him at the moment in time to grab the doctor by the neck to yank him closer to him & eye level as he had growled like the roar of a dragon, that the man would fix this that he would do the text again that was not rigged or he would make the man sorry.

His anger had waved over him the idea to kill the man was very tempting, even with the idea of Abi was there did not stop him to think, or the idea of Emma arresting him & putting him in jail, the only reason he had not killed the man had been that the hospital security had shown up to get him not only away form the doctor, but escort him out of the hospital so he could not try again at the man.

Now he was driving back home, with Abi his grip on the wheel was deadly & he was unsure what he could say to even start for what he felt, all he saw at the moment was his life over, his heart crashed to dust & his soul condemned to the worst curse of all broken to a point it would never heal. He knew Regina was behind it, he could not prove it, but who else would have the money or the want to test the man? Other then the fact she did it before, so why would she not do it again.

The reason he choose there home, was he knew Abi would have a few words & he would much prefer the house to the shop where anyone could walk in or have more chance to hear them or but in on the matter.

Regina smirked watching from a room across the hall to see Rumple being lead away by security and Abigail going with him. Her plan was working out perfectly.

Regina walked into the hospital approaching Dr. Whale carrying a bag as well as her purse.

"You know what you have to do. Or I'll tell the board of directors your little secret and you'll be lucky to get a job as a janitor at the hospital." said Regina.

Dr. Whale nodded worriedly. He didn't want to do this but he had no choice not if he wanted to keep his license.

"I'll do it. But he's going to need proof." said Dr. Whale.

"But that's where I come in." said Regina.

She pulled out a folder from her bag handing it to him.

"Everything you need should be in there. You're not the only connection I have here. And I'll make sure the woman meets up with Rumple and his happy wife later."

Dr. Whale only nodded as Regina turned and walked across the hall closing the door most of the way so she could watch the fun as the doctor picked up his cell phone and made the call.

Regina smirked walking out of the room as she picked up her phone. Rumple and Abigail were about to have another surprise very soon. The woman who was pregnant with Rumple's child. Or at least that would it would look like. She wondered how loyal Abigail would be if she believed Rumple had been unfaithful to her. She walked out of the hospital noticing the fear the staff and patients alike had of her as she left. She smirked it was good to be the mayor. She may not have her magic but she still made people nervous and afraid of her. Just how she liked it.

Abi had been hoping with every fiber in her body that that test would come back negative. That it would prove that the baby inside that woman was not his. She had been silent most of the day before they had their appointment and silent here siting in the examination room. There was just nothing in her mind that she could say right now. She was sitting here waiting to find out if her husband had gotten another woman pregnant... there was not much to say.

When the doctor had returned with the results, Abi had tensed waiting for everything to either be over or to get a whole lot worse. Then it came out. It was his baby. Abi looked down at the floor and for a moment said nothing. Then a sob broke out of her. When he moved to grab the doctor, Abi jumped.

She knew of his anger but had not seen it first hand like this. Abi stood as well feeling a little light headed. She gingerly place an arm on his arm wanting him to let the doctor go. Security was there in moments and while two went for Gold, one took Abi gently by the arm pulling her away from her husband. Abi did not fight it. She felt like she was having an out of body experience.

Abi kept her eyes down as they were escorted out of the hospital. She felt like she was going to cry and she tried to hold back. She didn't understand why Gold would do this. She had never denied her embrace when he had wanted it. Did she not make him happy? She didn't understand.

Outside Abi pulled away from the guard and she let herself into the car. She did not speak and as they started home, the tears came. Still she made as little noise as possible but her body shook with her sobs and pain. She just stared out of her window.

Gold like he had fallen into despair, his main fear was that Abi would leave him for good that though alone ripped & stab at him in such away in his heart that his body had reacted to it, almost like he had been hurt in such a way. Of course one home, he like always would offer to get her door, though he was not sure she would allow such a thing or even more so to touch her, time would only tell for sure how things would go, but he would do everything he could to make it work.

He looked at Abi, as he spoke "It's not true, of course the test said other wise & he had nothing to prove other wise then his word, to Abi at the time so he was left with the wait or what was to come, he felt in such a state of the unknowing that it scared him greatly for being the coward he was for so many years & being called it he could not think the worst first before the good.

"It's not true" He told her and Abi did not look at him. He had just said pretty much exactly what she had expected him to say. She had not expected him to admit the situation. Abi didn't know what to do. She had left him once before adn it had been so hard. She loved this man. And where would she go anyways? A part of her wanted to yell and scream...a part wanted to crawl in a corner and cry while another wanted to believe that he was telling the truth. She was torn.

When they returned home, Abi got out of the car and without a word she walked away from him. She made her way around the house's side and to the back. There was a garden swing here and Abi moved to the two person swing. She sat and leaned back in the metal frame before pushing against the ground and beginning a gentle rock. Her eyes closed as she tried to loose herself in the feel of the breeze on her face.

As Abi walked away with out a word he felt the stab of pain again, though he did not tell Abi of it or show it, at the time he did not think it would matter or even if... no he would not allow his mind to sink so low. But, that did not change he felt Abi with draw, if he lost Abi this time it would hurt greatly & he would be very sure to get even more of a payback form Regina because of it. Of course once he shoot the door he though about going after her, why another part said to give her space.

As much as he would like to beg right now for Abi to believe him, his want to break things was just as much there flickering with in him, the only thing that keep him more so form breaking things at the moment was Abi, he did not need to add more stress to her right now.

Of course with out her even wanting him around or so it felt he could not hold back the want to insure her safety, that was the main reason he found himself to fallow Abi, how ever he did not say a word to her, he did not fall to his knees to beg, he mealy watched form where he took a seat way form her, on another bench.

Abi said nothing as he appeared around the corner and sat not far away from her. She continued to swing slowly. She kept her eyes on the ground not sure if she could bring herself to look at him. Abi knew that if she looked at him right now, she may not be able to control what came out of her mouth. That could be bad. She knew that there was a chance that he could be telling her the truth and yet, she was unsure. How could she not be? Here she sat with his unborn child inside her, and somewhere else sat another woman claiming she was in the same position. Slowly now, and taking a few deep breaths to control herself. "We need to get away." She told him now. "Away from all of this. I do not need or want this stress and it is not good for the baby." Her voice was steady but tight.

Gold had not expected her to say anything to him, well yelling had come to mind yet at her words she surprised him all the same, for one she was not yelling & two she had said the word we, so she had meant him included he understand her words, though he did not see it fixing the issue well at least the issue with the other woman, but he did not think it wise to bring it up, for Abi was right this was not go for her or the child, though why she wanted him around on the trip was unclear for comfort or could it be she wanted to make sure he was on a lease & she knew where he was. "And where would you have use go?" His voice was not much better then hers yet, he did not move as much as he wanted to he feared to press his luck, she could just as simple leave, as stay & have him sleeping on the couch as anything right now.

"And where would you have use go?" He asked her and Abi looked away again. She did not know where. She had not actually thought that far ahead. "I am not sure." She replied after a moment of silence. "Somewhere away from other people. Where we are not bothered by others." She stopped the rocking now. "Where there are no other women." Abi looked at him again. "I will find a place." She told him and then stood. "Are you hungry?" Abi asked. She was always hungry now. She started towards the house. It was meal time anyways. Abi ran one hand over her growing belly as she walked. She only hoped that staying here was the right thing to do.

Gold heard her answer, before he heard her words of course her words of other women stroke him, almost as badly as if she hit him her self. She might not of meant it to come out like it sounded or as he though, then again she might have. Of course he did not get the chance to make a smart ass comment, he had his mouth open some to say something, but closed it if she wanted him on a leash all she had to do was ask, likely good for him that he did not say it for it was clear Abi was not in the mood to take anything form him. He heard her words of food & to be honest he had not though of it, though as she walked passed him why did he bother to stay out so he just fallowed.

She did not need to see him to know that he was following. It was just a feeling she had. Abi had not missed when he had opened his mouth to speak. He was smart however and said nothing. Abi moved through the house and into the kitchen. She did not know what she was going to make. Really she just needed to have her hands busy. She looked over her shoulder at him now and then held his gaze for a moment just thinking before turning to the fridge.

Gold fallowed her into the how, as she moved into the kitchen, how ever as she held his gaze he did not look away yet it did not mean he was not unsettled, not just for her gaze yet the silence. Abi he could not say was known for it & he had a bad feeling the long she said nothing, the worse what ever was to come because of it would be worse & he would be on the receiving end. How ever he did not wish to fight with her & true be told he feared what would happen if a so called fight of even words broke out, Abi was hot under the coller, do to the results of a test that lied & her being with child was not going to help matters because of hormones, so for now he said nothing. As much as he wanted to help he did not dare speak, he was not in the mood to lose a hand as well tonight, though he did take a seat deciding if she was going to yell at him he best be where he could take it.

Abi said nothing as she worked to just throw something together. She was not in a culinary creative mood. Abi's mind was spinning as she tried to decide what would be best to say. She was not used to being in this type of situation of course. She was hurt and distrustful and very much pregnant. She knew that her condition had a lot to do with the way she was feeling but not to what degree. She did not know what to say. The food was cooking now and she turned leaning against the counter and watching him. How was she supposed to feel about this? There sat the man she loved. Had loved for a long time and in but worlds. The father of her child. The man who another woman claimed he had been with and he denied it. She wanted so much to believe him but she was afraid a the same time. Abi was so confused.

Gold, felt like his life was not only on some run away mine cart, but he felt like he was also felt like his soul was going over a gratter, to slave away at him, the last thing that would come if Abi left would be the more pain in his chest form the stabbing feeling. Gold watched Abi, he really was lost what to say & do, he knew was really in this spot before, true he lost his former wife, but that was different. He could not say that ever her watching him at the moment was not making him feel not only fidgety, but the want to crawl under a rock or maybe some drink to help ease his pain if for the moment, not that he likely would yet he was not sure what to do & he hated it. "I am not sure what to say Abigail, I find my self at a lose on what to say or do, things I wish to say I do not think you would believe me & things I wish to do, I cannot say you would allow it" He would try to be a honest as he could, for was that not the best even if he did not speak full lies it was not the same thing, he did not want her to think he was ignoring her, for that was likely to lead to bad things for him.

"I am not sure what to say Abigail, I find my self at a lose on what to say or do, things I wish to say I do not think you would believe me & things I wish to do, I cannot say you would allow it" He told her. Abi was silent for a long moment unsure of how to respond to that at first. Then she scoffed softly. Suddenly she snapped at him. She couldn't help it.

"Well say something!" She snarled at him. "Do something!" Abi was beside herself. She was not even thinking of the way she was sounding. She was just so angry and hurt. She wanted to hurt him. She wanted to scream and cry and hit him. However, she wanted to have him hold her and kiss her and make love to her. She loved him but she was so very angry. She did not know what she wanted. Abi felt betrayed and disturbed.
