Marian squealed as Robin spun her around, laughing herself. "I love you too," she said with a big goofy smile. "You haven't ask my father?" Marian asked shaking her head. "Well at least he likes you, so he will be happy for us." Marian paused. "Do you want me there when you speak to him? Or do you wish to be alone when you do?" Marian help on to Robin, her mind flying to ideas of a wedding in the church and all the details she would have to plan, and a dress, she'd have to have a dress made soon.

Robin frowned slightly, "no, when you mentioned about him having to ask you I got worried that you didn't actually like me, let alone want to marry me. I didn't want to burden him with a proposal you didn't want."
Robin smiled, "I think it would be best to do it alone, to keep with some part of tradition."
Robin laughed as he looked at Marian, who he guessed was already planning, "I can see the wheels in your mind turning about our wedding."

Marian poked Robin's chest, "you actually believed me?" she said rolling her eyes. "You amaze me Robin," she said with a small laugh. "I've only been in love with you since we were children. I've been waiting for you to ask for years, but when you left.. Well I just assumed that you didn't wish to marry me." Marian shrugged, almost as if she was trying to shrug off the hurt hi leaving had caused.
Marian smiled a small blush brightening her cheeks. "Well I'll need a dress obviously," Marian said with a smile, "I'll probably have it made rather than buy one, and then we need to decide if we are going to marry as soon as possible, or in the spring."

Robin looked at Marian, "I never know with you. And you are the most important part of my life, so I wanted to be sure as I could be."
Robin grinned, "I can't wait to see you walk down the aisle. And spring, whenever you want to. I will be here, so it's all up to you, for waiting so long for me to get my head on right." Robin moved to take Marian's hands in his as he spoke.

Marian laughed, "oh Robin," she said not sure how she ever let her father talk her out of following Robin the last time he left, maybe if she had, they would have eloped a long time ago.
"Alright, then spring it is," Marian said with a smile. "Once the ground it dry and the trees and flowers have started to bud." Marian chewed her bottom lip, there were so many things she wanted to plan, but she couldn't do any of it until they had her father's verbal blessing. Moving back to the bed, Marian didn't let go of Robin's hand as she sat down, she was beyond excited, and couldn't think straight. Folding her legs under herself, Marian motioned for Robin to join her so he didn't have to just stand around, plus it was starting to get late.

Robin grinned, "sounds wonderful. The season of new beginnings, fitting isn't it?" He knew that he was going to talk to Marian's father tomorrow and he was excited to get his blessing. But his attention was focused on Marian, on how she moved as she led him across the room. As she motioned for him to sit on her bed, he sat down, not too close, for he was still a gentlemen. And even though they were engaged to each other, Robin was traditional.

"Very," Marian agreed with a smile. She laughed watching Robin sit on her bed, he was close, but not too close. "I"m not going to bite, Robin," Marian said brushing her hair out of her eyes. "And I've waited years to have you, I can wait until the spring for you to be in my bed, " she winked wickedly. As much as she toyed, Marian believed in traditions as well, and wanted to be married before she did anything but kiss Robin. Pulling her hands away from Robins, Marian started to undo the pins in her hair as they were starting to drive her mad, and let her hair fall around her shoulders.

Robin laughed at her words, and leaned in to kiss her on the cheek as he whispered in her ear, "you always were the wild one."
He watched as she let down her hair and he reached out to help her untangle it. "Is that a sign you want a massage or for me to brush your hair?" Robin smiled his lopsided grin. He loved not knowing what was coming next from her.

Marian smiled as Robin kissed her cheek. "I only learned from the best," she said, "But I think if the servant heard or saw anything and word got around, my father would skin and stuff you." Marian shook her head.
Marian loved the feel of Robin's fingers in her hair, it was like some dark magic seduction that she could never say no too. "Well I hadn't actually thought of that," Marian said with a grin, "But by all means," Marian said with a shy smile. "I would never stop you if you wanted to give me a massage or brush my hair."

Robin laughed, "good thing I told him the reason of my visit. so he knows what is going on, he just hasn't had a chance to give his in-person blessing. And if he does skin and stuff me, well we can elope before then."
Robin smiled, "ah, see I got myself into that one then. Massage it is. I have a feeling I'll be giving you a lot of these in the future." Robin stated as he thought about the amount of energy required in planning a wedding, as he moved to start giving Marian a shoulder and neck massage.

Marian leaned her body forward a bit to give Robin a better access to her shoulders and neck, relaxing her the feel of his fingers. "If I were to get massages for the rest of my life Robin, I don't know what I'd do, I'd almost do anything you asked.. Almost," she said with a smile. "Such as I'd almost consider putting down my bow an arrow for anything except sport." She laughed closing her eyes.
"We could have a small wedding," Marian said sleepily. "Just you me, my father and little John. It doesn't have to be anything big." Marian quieted waiting to hear what Robin had to say.

Robin laughed, "almost, almost is good. No, I like not knowing what you're going to do next. As for putting down your bow except for sport, you should keep doing what your doing, though if we have kids you might have to stop, as will I. It would be fun to claim this place of ourselves for the people again, to do it together." Robin stated as he thought about how he was still an outlaw and the sheriff still had considerable power. He wanted his children to grow up in an actual home and not with a father that had to constantly watch his back.
Robin nodded, "a small wedding, anything. As long as I get to marry you." Robin smiled, it was after all, all he cared about for their wedding was that they did get married.

Marian glanced over her shoulder. "Children?" She echoed and smiled shaking her head. "We have to get your name cleared first. The sheriff still holds too much power to do him any good, and if the Evil Queen ever comes this way...." Marian paused and shook her head. "It wouldn't be safe to bring babies into a war," Marian said sadly, she wanted nothing more than a family with Robin, but how could they when things were so unsafe.
"A small wedding then," Marian said with a smile, "in the spring." Marian couldn't help but smile, this was the first time in a long time she'd been this excited.

Robin smiled, "don't worry. I'll protect us, just as you protect me. And besides the sheriff will be going down soon. The men and I have a plan to bring the king back and that will fix everything, of course I would like you to accompany me on this trip, seeing how your lovely graces and charms will be needed. As for the Evil Queen, she's too far away. What interest would she find in our small little place? There already is fear here, fear that wouldn't transfer into her hands smoothly." Robin spoke in a reassuring voice that everything would be all right.
Robin grinned at the thought of their future together and at all the possibilities that could be had because of it.

"Promise?" Marian asked softly, wanting to believe everything that Robin was saying, but afraid too. They'd had to work so hard at keeping him alive all these years, and now it was as if he was offering her the world, well really he was, but it was all a little much. Marian leaned back against Robin. "When do we leave?" she asked as Robin said he'd like her to accompany him on his next journey.
