Queen Regina/Regina Mills (ooc: set pre-henry knowing about the curse. Regina & Henry are just a loving mother and son with only Regina knowing about the curse.) Regina smiled as she walked into the kitchen. She was making breakfast as usual for Henry and herself. She was currently dating Sheriff Graham and she was the mayor. Henry had brought meaning back into her life as everyone else just wouldn't stand up to her anymore and that got kind of boring after awhile. But she was glad she had Henry. She still couldn't believe someone had chosen to give him up. Well it was their loss and her gain. It wasn't long before she made breakfast waiting for Henry to join her. It was a Saturday but he didn't sleep in much. Usually he would eat with her and then have watch some tv or do homework he hadn't finished yesterday. And the probably go hang out with some friends if he wanted to. She smiled as she began eating her pancakes waiting for Henry to join her.

Henry was most certainly awake, no young boy in their right mind would sleep in on a weekend not when there was lots of fun to be had and places to explore, not when he might be able to do something with his mum. Oh and then there was the smell of delicious pancakes, though he was already awake by the time he smelt those, his mum made the best pancakes, actually she made the best food. The Lasagne she cooked was some of the best food she could ever make he loved eating it all the time.
Henry had been awake for a while now reading one of his comics in his room not wanting to go back to bed and still wearing his Spiderman pyjamas. He had been waiting to hear his mum to get up but got lost in the comic, what made him realize she was up was the smell of the pancakes.
Henry instantly made his way down the stairs also remembering there was something he wanted to ask his mum from the other day. Once he reached the kitchen his little eyes little up with joy at pancakes "you made pancakes!" He exclaimed with as much excitement any little boy his age could muster. He had been so excited he had not even realized that he was yet to get dressed and the eight year old was still in his pyjamas.

Queen Regina/Regina Mills Regina smiled as he came down. She chuckled at his enthuisasm and saw he was in pajamas. But since it was Saturday she'd let it slide. If they were trying to rush him to school then she'd have told him to change. "Of course I did. I know how much you love them." said Regina. She grinned getting up and getting some orange juice from the fridge and poured it into a couple glasses. She put the juice away and returned to the table setting the glasses down next to their plates. "I'm glad you're up Henry. You have any plans for today? Cause I'd like to spend some time with you today. You're always busy at school or doing homework or off with your friends. It wouldn't have to be the whole day maybe just a couple hours. Just so we can have fun and spend time together. Like watch a movie or play a game?" said Regina. She knew he was a kid and probably wouldn't want to spen the entire day with her but maybe they could hang out for a little while. It was true with her busy job as the mayor and Henry's busy life as a kid they didn't get to spend much time together outside of their meals. Saturday was like one day of the week they could hang out even if it was just a few hours.

"What flavour are they?" he asked in reply his eyes as still as round and as bright as buttons, loving that his mum knew what he liked to eat so well. He returned her grin with a really wide smile before walking over to the table and sitting down where his plate was just as she got some orange juice and put the glasses on the table. "Thank you mum I love you," he said picking up the glasses and taking a quick drink before making a small childish refreshed sigh and putting the glass down.
Henry had begun to tuck into the pancakes and had even at least started eating, getting a tiny bit messy in the process when his mum asked but his plans. Henry made sure to swallow the bit he was eating, because as mum had taught him it was rude to speak with your mouthful. He sort of felt that he should spend more time with his mum but well they were both always so busy. "I don't really have any plans for today most of my friends are busy until the afternoon," he sounded a bit down a bout it but he did perk up a bit at the thought of spending time with his mum. "I'd love to spend time with you can we play a game?" he then remembered something and looked around for his school backpack "mum I was also hoping, well I got a new book from the school library yesterday and I'm supposed to read it by Monday and well it's really difficult I was hoping you could read it with me?" He asked hoping she would say yes, he felt a bit embarrassed to ask but well he had been put in the advanced reading group at school and he had picked out a book that was harder than he thought it was.

Queen Regina/Regina Mills "Blueberry. But I can make a different flavor if you like." said Regina. She smiled again seeing him happy. She took a sip of her juice and smiled hearing him say he loved her. "Your welcome. And I love you too Henry. Always." said Regina. Regina smiled as she kept eating seeing he was getting a little messy. She stopped getting some napkins and placing them on the table. "You don't want to get those pajamas too dirty." said Regina. She smiled as he swaid he had no real plans and nodded when he said we could play a game. "Sure. I'm up for some games. Cards perhaps? Unless you want something in particular." said Regina. She paused as he needed help with a book and she smiled trying to appease him. "Of course I will. Perhaps we can read it together and I can help you with any words you don't understand." said Regina. She enjoyed helping her son especially reading. Although she tried to keep him away from fairy tales as they were just a reminder of her old life. And she didn't want Henry to start getting ideas about the town or her.

"No I love blueberry mum," before he grinned happily at her when she said I love you back causing him to get a cheeky grin on his face " I love you even more, love you this much," Henry said widening his arms really far out for effect. Henry by now has a seriously messy face and when his mum gave him the napkins and reminded him he was still in pyjamas he looked down at them then back up at his mum. "Sorry mummy i forgot to get dressed I'll do it after breakfast," he told her hoping that she did not ask him to go have a bath because he was so sticky.
"I wanna play hide and go seek I'm getting really good at it, then you can chose a game," Henry said he loved it when his mum chose games they were always fun to play, he remembered one of the games they played when he was a little younger and she won by tickling him into giving up, that had been a lot of fun.
"I'd like that, could we read it now ?"

Queen Regina/Regina Mills Regina smiled as he said he liked blueberry as they ate. She smiled as he said he loved her back. She'd heard it so many times now she'd lost count but it was nice to hear. When he apologized and said he'd change after breakfast she chuckled. "It's alright Henry. It'll wash off." said Regina. She paused as he said he wanted to play hide and seek and she grinned. "Alright. In this house then. Although I want my room to be off limits for the game. I brought some work home from the office yesterday and I don't want anything lost or damaged. I know you wouldn't intentionally do anything but accidents can happen so I just prefer you not to use my room if that's alright." said Regina. He had the rest of the house to hide in and she really didn't want to have to redo the work she had done on them if she didn't have to. She smiled as he said he could choose the next game. She smiled as asked if they could read his book now. "Perhaps after you've eaten and changed. Although if there's any cartoons or tv shows you want to watch we can play games or read later." said Regina. She resumed eating as she waited for him to reply. There were times she wished she had a simpler job than the mayor so she could spend time with Henry but being the mayor was also the closest she could get to being a queen in this town and she didn't want to give that title up either.

looking down at his pyjamas Henry realized he had gotten quite messy and should most likely change but the little boy could easily wipe it off he did not really want to change right now.
"Okay I promise mum not in your room," he said with a smile if mum said her room was off limits it was off limits, there were other more easier places to hide that would not get him in trouble. he hated it when mum had to use her cross voice with him.
"Can we read now I don't have anything to watch yet," he said to her thinking of the cartoons he would watch today, "they just keep repeating its boring now," he moaned at her as if she as able to do something about that. He then frowned a bit, "do I have to change mummy?"

Queen Regina/Regina Mills Regina looked at him and smiled. "Good. Besides I doubt there's many good hiding places in my room anyway. I know that room so well it'd be an unfair advantage." teased Regina. She smiled and nodded as he said he wanted to read now. She looked at his clothes and nodded. She really enjoyed her time with Henry but she syrup did stick quickly and would be easier to clean know than later. She smiled as she had soon finished her pancakes as she took the plates to the sink seeing he was done too. She rinsed off the dishes and cleaned them setting them on a rack turning to Henry. If she had her magic she could have just made that stain disappear but she had to do things the normal way now. "Yes. I think you should change now. That way we can clean that syrup off your pajamas. If it dries it'll be harder to clean. You can change and drop the pajamas in the laundry and bring down your book. I'll clean it real quick and start a load of laundry before we start reading." said Regina.

"Nuhu there is, there's a floorboard thats lose and it's really big, it's the bestest hiding place," he responded to his mothers teasing before his eyes widened, "awwwww you tricked me mummy." Henry giggled, even though she now knew he would hide if he was in her room, he loved getting tricked by her it was always a fun game. "You won't be able to trick me again mummy," he said with a cheeky grin on his face.
Henry nodded at the mention of changing and ran to the laundry and took off his pyjamas, before running to his bedroom to put on his clothes, all Marvel styled wolverine. When he was done he got his book and ran downstairs. "Done mum I got the book."

Queen Regina/Regina Mills Regina grinned at that. She hadn't expected to learn of a hiding place in her room. "Just the same I'd prefer for you to keep out of my room. I rather not have anything lost or ruined. I know it'd be an accident but still that wouldn't help me if I had to redo paperwork." said Regina. She was being firm about this. She'd lock her room if she had to. Although he didn't seem to be interested in playing hide and seek at the moment. He changed and got his book heading downstairs. She grinned at him. "Well what's the book about? I mean some things aren't meant for you to read until you're in middle school or high school." said Regina. She saw the book and waited for his reply.
